Hi guys, my name is Tina, and today I'm going to show you how to recreate this requested 60s hair bun with a ball. Let'S start off by clipping away the sides and the crown and then with the back, we're going to make a V section and put it up in a high ponytail after teasing your ponytail we're going to bring it forward and then pin it with two large bobby Pins now grab a sock or doughnut and pin it right on top of your ponytail and then bring your ponytail straight over the doughnut and make another tie at the back. Okay. So now we're going to unclip the right side, but leave out the crown, because we're going to do this in two sections. After smoothing out your hair, we're going to wrap the hair around the base of the bun and, of course, wrap the top section around the base of the bun as well. So for the right section. We'Re going to wrap the hair clockwise on the hair bun and, while the left section we're going to wrap the hair counterclockwise on the hair bun. MrsBrit1: This is really cute! Any suggestions on how to achieve this with *really* long hair? Mine is classic length (ie at the bottom of my butt). Would wrapping extra times look wrong? I think I'd start with the BIG sockbun form. Maybe there's another technique to use that would eat up some of the length.... Thanks for any tips you can come up with!
