Kim Kardashian'S Hairstylist Shows Us How To Give A Men'S Haircut At Home

Celeb hairstylist Chris Appleton demonstrates how to get out your clippers, and let that old hairdo fade away.

You'Re gon na need a pair of clippers para scissors sectioning Clips. Okay. First of all, you want to do section hair out, so you know, what's going to be sure, what's going to be longer so sides and back take a section from the temple area and probably through to the bone in the back, which is called the occipital bone. That'S a great guide lines of credit page just before you start cuts in make sure you go for head size, that's longer than what you're used to you can always go a little bit shorter after each best time doing any they don't want to have a little Bit of room to play, so I usually use a three but ELISA for a guy always start at the front in front of the air and you're literally gon na go in. Follow that all the way up to the top and make sure that when you get to the top, you get a bit of a clip connection with your wrist. You just want to clip the hair out so you're, just gon na. Follow that all the way through to the back during this point, boys start from the front way to the back once you've got that going in your light, 11, followed the same on the opposite side. Now. What we're gon na do is create a little bit of a fade, so I'm gon na use the shorter head than what I just used on my clipper attachment. I use the floor now I'm going to go down to a 3 and then what we're going to do effectively follow the same guideline, but you're. Only gon na go half way up to keeping it nice and tight around the hairline, which is kind of effectively what faith is so init the roof and remember half way flick it out. So you're not going to continue this to the top you just gon na. Do this around the bottom of the head, so you should get something like this going on and now what we're going to do is blend this top end. So take a sectioning Clips out. I have kind of wet sit down with a little bit of water just to get it going and I'm gon na play this corners. So you want to imagine a half circle shape on the top of the head, which effectively is the same forehead and you're gon na follow that so you're gon na take a section on the sides and you're gon na blend in from the shortest focused area. Now follow that all the way around the size you're going to do that from the sides at the back and never going to show you how to blend the top. So now we blended that side, section either side and the back around the perimeter. What we're going to do now is you have to blend the top into that. So what you want to imagine is a hot moon shape so from here, you're gon na imagine this into what we just okay, so you create like a Halfmoon shape effect so cut to the desired length on the top. I'M gon na point. But this, if you point cut it, it just makes it a little bit softer all in a straight line and then you're gon na continue that on follow here. Take that corner off and overlap hot weird shape, and you know what I did all right. So we're just going to continue doing that throughout the rest of the haircut, so take that middle down and then remember taking that corner section in and blend into two into each other. If you do have really short hair at this point as well, you can misuse a buzzer, alright, we're here for these pretty nicely so now what you want to do is we're blending in the top, my tip for the bang bit at the front. If you want to keep a bit of lymph is just to pull it backwards upon itself, if you put it backwards, when you could say it, you'll create a little bit more then and leave like a slopper from you guys to play with all right guys. Gon na dry off, I'm going to use my favorite. This is the cut of our 1-minute transformation cream, yes, Mikado in it, it's really moisturizing. It just helped to compete. Styling. Thank you. So you should get something that looks like this. So nice and tighter the sides longer lip on top. I think he looks pretty handsome. He looks pretty bad, but listen have some fun of it. Take your time. My top tip is to honestly always go a little bit longer than you want. What'S going back in after that and sharpen it up and going a little bit shorter, make sure you have a mirror if you do it yourself at the back and just make sure you follow that guideline, because honestly, that's kind of one of the key things making Sure you follow that guideline. We are in quarantine, so hopefully you guys can use some of these tricks and tips to get by and to get back into the song. Let me know how you get on tag me in your post, always interesting to see how you guys are doing an address in and I'll see you next time.
