How To Bleach The Knots Or Roots On Your Wig | 360 Curly Heaven Lace Wig

Quick video showing how I bleach the knots on all my wigs. Bleaching the knots provides a more natural and realistic look when your wig is installed, it hides the black knots created when the hair is tied to the lace.

I used 40 developer and left it on for 30 minutes, I would suggest leaving it on for 20-25 instead or using a 20 or 30 developer & leaving it on for 30 minutes. I personally like my constancy to be more on the thick side to make sure the bleach doesn't run through the knots and start beaching the actually hair itself.

Hey everyone in this video, I'm gon na share with you guys how I bleach the knots on my wigs. You can also do this, of course, on your lace, frontals or release closures, etc. To start off, I'm gon na be using this bleach powder from L'Oreal. I think they're up at Sally's, along with the 40 volume cream developer from salon care. I also picked up the ball and the brush from Sally's as well. Now this is a very simple process. Are you gon na do is mix the bleach with the developer mix. It together until you get a creamy yet thick consistency. You want it to almost look like cake batter, you don't want it to be too runny because you're not trying to beat you actual hair itself, the only one of each or not so when it looks thick. Just like this, that is a perfect consistency. I went ahead and stuck my wig, I placed it inside out and the front portion is all I'm bleaching. That is the portion that is going to be visible when you are parting, your hair, and you want that to be a little bit lighter so that it can look the most natural. That is why we're bleaching the lot, so I am just taking the bleach and I'm spreading it evenly all over the front section, and I am just going to let it sit for a good 30 to 45 minutes depending on the bleach you are using just. I would just check on it after 15 minutes or so just to make sure it is not too light, but I left mine on for 30 minutes before I rinsed it off after the 30 minutes. I rinsed off all of the bleach with the shimmering light shampoo, and then I applied a little bit more and I let it sit for about 10 minutes just to make sure I didn't get any brattiness after letting it sit for 10 minutes. I just went in and I shampooed and conditioned as usual, and here you can definitely see the difference. You can see how the roots are now a lighter color making it look more natural. I know this video was short, but it was really straight to the point. I really hope some of you guys found this helpful. If you guys have any questions, please let me know - and I will see you guys in the next video bye you
