They don't want to believe when you say something positive about a company about anything. People are so quick to believe a negative review over a positive review. I'Ve been on social media long enough to know that even negative reviews can be paid for me. I like to show every detail in the product that i'm talking about, so i kind of give you guys receipts on what i'm talking about. I just don't come on here and be like oh yeah, it's a great product. No, if i see a problem, i talk about it, i show it i'm not here to convince you to believe that my review is true over someone else's. I'M just here to share my experience in the future. I plan on doing more longer reviews rather than different reviews, but let's jump right into this video hi guys. I am back with another review, no for real, i'm back with another review for you all, and today i wanted to give you guys another detailed review. I'M kind of getting into these, i think, over the next few weeks you will see a change in my channel when it comes to how i do my reviews and my videos. So today's video i'm going to share with you guys this wig my pros and cons of what i do and don't like about this wig. This wig, i'm wearing, is the wig. I'M going to be talking about my pros and cons. This wig comes from omg her hair. Now this is not my first time sharing hair from their company. This one is a silk top loose wave 360 lace, wig. If you know anything about the silk top. You know that, back in the day, if you ever tried a silk top, there was a line of demarcation. That was just ridiculous. They have added that into this wig and i want to just go over it and talk about the pros the cons. So again, this is from omg her hair. This is how the packaging looks. It'S always been consistent when i do get it so inside of the box, they put an elastic band. A lot of companies put this fly away, tamer their own brand of it. They have a wig cap now, i'm not sure if all of these products are going to come in your box or not, but i'm just sharing what comes in mine now. This wig cap is definitely too dark for me um and they put a comb in here and, of course, they have their instructional guide. Well, i'm not sure if they do an exchange policy or not. I will be sure to put the length of this wig, along with the description of the wig, the link, any discounts that they may offer for you guys in the description box, also make sure to check below this video for a 20 inch. This wig is 259. That does not include shipping, but you have the choice to get this 4x4 silk top put inside of there, and it also comes with the adjustable elastic band. So my first impression is taking this wig out the box just looking at it. I thought the hair quality looked pretty good. I didn't feel like the hair, would give me any problems. Looking at the hairline of the wig um, i was a little bit disappointed because i felt like the hairline could have been pre-plucked like it was not pre-plucked and i didn't do anything to the hairline today. I just put it on the way it came. So i do feel like they should have pre-plucked that hairline a little bit more. I don't know if they did not, because you know in the past the silk top has got a bad reputation for having that line of demarcation. Basically, you can see the separation from the lace and the silk top, so i don't know if they just wanted more hair there to conceal that, so you won't see it and you kind of sacrifice getting that pre-plucked hairline for that. As far as the cap construction, the cap construction is really nice. In the inside, you get the combs, you get the adjustable straps, you get the built-in elastic adjustable band um, and this is a 360 wig. So you do have wefting on the inside of the wig. Okay, because someone asked me well what's the difference between a 360 wig and a full lace, wig, well, a full lace: wig has absolutely no wefts or track hair in there. It'S just you're, just knotted throughout the cap on the website. It describes it as front. Is 130 it goes to a hundred and fifty percent throughout. So you start 130 and then, as you go back it's 150 just looking at it, you probably won't even be able to tell that difference. Just to be honest, the knots on this wig are teeny. Very small, which i love. You guys know that i love the smaller knots, so i didn't wash this wig. I did not bleach the knots. I just decided against bleaching the knots, so i did like the way the hair performed when i washed it. It was nice and soft. I did take a blow dryer to it, just to kind of speed up the process. Normally, i let my wigs air dry, so i blow-dried the hair it kind of fluffed out. This is a body wave texture. It does come in straight and i believe it may come in. Curly took the blow dryer through it. It kind of straightened it out, and then i took my curling iron, which is my t3. I want to say that i use this to curl the hair, and i also use this to straighten the hair and the reason why i choose to use this to straighten the hair is because i find the hair. Sometimes a flat iron can make the hair look flat when i use a curler, it gives the hair so much body. Now, if you like the flat iron go ahead, you do what you do boo, but imma choose to use what i like. I do appreciate you all sharing some tips. It was definitely helpful and i will try that in the future, so i added some curls around this hair. I did also go back and add some layers just because with the hairline not being pre-plucked on this wig it just don't look natural it just don't look natural around the hairline, so i kind of pushed the hair toward my face added some layers, and now i Feel like it looks a lot better looking at the lace color. This is how the lace color is. This is not any type of special, undetectable lace, it's just regular lace, and this is what the color looks like up against my skin. This wig, like i said, i'm not really showing any hairline, so i guess it really don't matter what color the lace is as long as it's not black. This is a medium brown lace. Color. Let'S talk about this silk partings. The silk base is almost like a piece of fabric. I want to call it like a fabric, it's different from the fake scalp, because the fake scalp material is more see-through. It'S more soft and it just blends effortlessly with the silk top material is a little bit thick, and when you go like this into the scalp, you can hear a sound. It'S like almost like a crunching, sound part. It you absolutely see no knots, because the actual hair is put into the silk top, and one thing i did notice that they did with their silk top is at the bottom of it. They put the fake scalp material underneath like when i'm just put a clip in here for you guys. But if you look, you see that fake scalp material which, when i got the wig i was like. Oh, is this the fake scalp, but then looking at it through the parting, i was like no, they just kind of put that there. I guess to make it look good because it really plays no part in the actual appearance over top. So i know a long time ago. People would ask me: what did i think about the silk top. I mean the line of demarcation was real with it back in the day. So that's my thoughts. I do feel like the hair quality is good. I don't feel like it's a bad texture now, sometimes there are instances where you will get bad hair. That does happen just because these companies are working in factories is possible. However, the hair that i have now definitely, i feel like the quality is good. So let's talk about the cons of this wig as far as the pre-plucked hairline, my con is definitely that i do feel like it's so unnatural. The hairline is so thick. So if you wanted to wear this wig and share the hairline and wear it with the hairline showing you will need to pluck out some hairs which could potentially lead to shedding over time, i do not have this wig glued down. I just felt like it. I didn't need to glue it down because the hairline is not natural enough for me to take the time to glue down my hairline. You know so i just use the adjustable straps. That'S in the wig overall, i still feel like the parting makes the wig look. Good but, like i said i have to bring the hair forward like this, instead of pushing it back like this, i hate so i'm keeping it this way. I did add some layers. Do i see a separation from the silk base? It'S there a tad bit. You can see it, someone has to be really close up to your head to actually see that separation. I feel like the color of the silk base. It may work for a lot of skin tones. I don't i'm not exactly sure about that, but i don't have a problem with it. The other con is the smell um. I don't smell it in the hair now, but when i wet the hair, it definitely has like an egg smell. It'S not extremely bad, but when i apply heat to the hair or i apply water to the hair, the smell comes out and if you're you know sweating or if you're in a high heat area, i can imagine now, if you wash the hair over and over Again that may come out um, so i don't know another con is the lace color? They don't have an option for you to choose the color of the silk top or the lace color. You basically are stuck with whatever color they sing you, and also you only get that four by four parting um right here around this area, with that silk top.
