Mismanaged anxiety could be leading to your hair loss and or thin. Several people asked me to elaborate a bit more on this, so here we go first note that in this space I speak from personal experience, so just kind of use that caveat there if you're, one of those where anxiety, impacts your bowels, especially or it impacts your Gut to where you are feeling nauseous throwing up lost your appetite or it's running straight through you, all those are going to impact your ability to absorb nutrients which is going to impact your ability to grow hair. So a lot of times you'll see issues with shedding with thinning with breaking, because that hair is not getting what it needs to be able to grow well. In my instance, it happened quite a bit right in here. I already had the cul-de-sacs, but this thin area here is new, and I had quite a bit of an issue right here in the center of my head. Due to all those issues, helpful practices you can use, I've got Loop, earplugs helps to muffle noise. When I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, sensorally setting better boundaries, practicing breathing exercises listening to Brown noise, all this can help bring things to CBD can help as well. If you're doing meds make sure to check the side effects and see the hair loss, it's not a side effect that you can affect as well. Okay,

Barb Huelsing: Kingwood, I love your vulnerability and transparency. Keep growing and glowing!

Peter's Sister: I remember when this happened to me in grad school. I was edgeless... and loss in the crown. Had to get that together. Regular exercise and healthy boundaries were my saving grace. Mr. Kingwood thank you for sharing this..❤️

Vickie Murph: Having Covid-19 can also cause hair loss. I agree that anxiety, stress and declining hormone levels during menopause can change hair.

that girl in okc: Thank you for sharing this ❤ You’re helping more people than you know

Smitty B: I've got a wonky device but I manage to keep up with you. Your teaching method works for me and I've learned so much. Keep up the great job as long as it's a positive part of your life. " Love ya,boo."

Allister Yarbrough: Thanks for sharing. I also suffer from anxiety and I often take naps when I get in from work to help decompress from the day. It's not popular in communities of color, but I also speak with a therapist monthly too.

ahub87: Mannn…My stress situation was so bad I had dropped about 10lbs in 2 weeks and I wasn’t exercising or dieting…it was just stress. usually I have spot in the back that will break when under high stress. I was under extreme stress a few months ago and thought “oh well at least my hair isn’t breaking yet…I’m not too far gone” …went to brush my hair and noticed a thin patch at that temple area…and my hair was falling like Alicia Keys every time I brushed it…it’s growing back…now that I’m out of that storm. Thanks for sharing this information…a lot of people don’t know that havoc anxiety and stress can have on your hair.

ATLSTLCurls: So, so, SO many people need to hear this!!!

Virginia Montaldo: I had dry dandruff for 2 years that I never really managed to clear. Then I understood it was caused by stress (the possibility I could be sent to a 'dissident camp' because I refused the vaxx, or have no job/not being able to go anywhere) so I started deep relaxation practices. It's working!! Not only hair loss, but dandruff and other scalp issues can be due to stress.

B.Heavenly: Do you have any remedies for a itchy dry scalp??

Kayla: Thank you for sharing the loop earrings! I have never seen those but I’m going to check them out! I will usually wear my AirPods while listening to music while out like going to the grocery store due to all of the noise and overstimulation. Definitely will check out the loops!

Saved by Grace: I love this!

Ashunda Thomas: Yes Lord! I refuse to stress to that level again. And now, my hair loss, due to stress is no more. I be like, yeah no cause I ain't losing my hair anymore My hair is now the longest it's ever been ‍♀️

MsAchampion: The cul-de-sac? Boy you crazy! I have a cul-de-sac to and a tiny neighborhood on the other side. I did have colon cancer over 14 years ago. I have been taking vitamins more lately and now im seeing new little hairs in the cul-de-sac area growing where it was clean at first. Please share some insight on this subject if you can. Thanks

Ann: You seriously need to be teaching in nursing school. Where were you when I was in nursing school

Platinum Branch: Thank you for those tips, Linwood! I would add that I also pray and meditate on God's word. He promises to keep us in PERFECT PEACE when we keep our mind on Him (Isaiah 26:3), which leaves no more room for anxiety and depression (which I suffered from for many years). When I focus on me and what I perceive to be problems, I worry. When I focus on The One who has ALL the solutions, I remain calm. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Linwood!

N Arrington: This one needs to be a full video. It would help so many people. It’s hard to understand what you’re saying in this short because you’re talking so fast.

Holla At The KI D: Certified health coach here with a message to women! Seeing a lot of this lately. If you have girl problems,( yeast infections, UTI’s ,BV etc) you have anxiety that affects your health and your hair( its not circumstantial its a physical symptom too) . Its not “your girl”that is the problem its your gut, your immune system is in trouble and excess yeast and bad bacteria not only affects your reproductive health it affects your mind and mood too). Look for a probiotic that is a complex for females health .a high level and high quality pre and probiotic, digestive enzymes and cranberry. Stop using conventional antibiotics when sick with anything, a lot of times that’s what causes this ongoing storm in the first place ( due to the panini press , RSV, Flu, Is running through the population like a happy child on candy people are taking a lot more antibiotics for the lung infections caused by these illnesses). And you will notice not only a calm and healed reproductive tract in the end but your mental health and mood will improve. ( alternative to conventional antibiotics: oregano oil 4000 mg. I personally take 3 gel caps to 9 caps spread out ( in 3’s with my meals) a day depending on the severity of what I am going through. It kills bad bacteria that’s usually foreign to the human body without disturbing the good bacteria that protect the body and fights for you. ) Hope this helps and stops the suffering I see.

Ms.Frazier: Medication and husband being sick helped me gain a new bald spot in the middle of my head. I'm so depressed that I might have to shave it off but I got a funny shaped head .

CurlyGirl90: CBD!!!! Super underrated but amazing

Joyce Wade: I’m taking high blood pressure medication and I think one of the side effects is hair loss. Can you tell me anything to combat that

Kira J: I am going through this now. Thanks soo very much for sharing .

Camille Robinson: Brown noise? ...How about brown liquor!

AKIYIAKELLY: Hey Fam.... I feel you talk so Fast Now...

Cynthia Isaac: What can i do about Alopecia without going to a Doctor?

Dean Senecharles: Thanks for sharing...useful information

Debra Hill: Goodness! My doc prescribed prednisone and the volume of my hair is gone. My braid now equals the size of one of the 3 sections to braid. I am holding off the big chop, to see what I can do thru nutrition & supplements and no more steroid use for pain management. And very minimal manipulation. I will cut gradually as I regain more volume. Just trying to be conservative in my approach. Is this advisable? I could cuss his a money money out!

Cali Sunbeam: Facts

Rosemary Rose: Merry Christmas Linwood

Gail Talley: brown noise instead of White

Joanne Wright:

Moneka Swan: Codasacs!
