ABOUT VIDEO:

Hey Afrodisiacs!!! In today's video I partnered up with Youth Beauty to bring you all a Chunky Twist Out on EXTREMELY THICK Blow Dried Kinky Curly Hair! As someone with fine natural hair who rarely blow dries for stretched styles, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try this hairstyle on the wig. This unit was very easy to style and it held the definition from the twist out beautifully. I hope this video was helpful. Please like, comment, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE!

Yomoti - Your Vibe

Hey aphrodisiacs, it's me khadijah! So if you're new to my channel then please hit that subscribe button and if you already subscribed, then welcome back. Aren'T you guys so in today's video we're gon na be trying out a brand new wig from a new company? This would be my first time working with them. Well, we give into the video if you guys, hear a noise in the background that is my miniature fan. It'S super hot! You guys so just bear with me, so the company is called Youth Beauty and look at this beautiful packaging. So the wig that I chose was actually this curly wig, it's their 360 wig and the texture is kinky curly and I also got it in 16 inches. This is my third curly wig, so I'm actually gon na do something a little bit different to it. I just wanted the curly texture, because then I can kind of play around with it and still get that you know afro texture. If I do something different, but I am gon na blow the hair out and style, it have some plucking at the front of the wig and also baby hairs. So I might just have to do some minor tweaking to the hairline. I really like this wig. Alright, you guys so we're just gon na jump right in I've, already bleached the knots and now I'm getting ready to shampoo and definition, the hair so to shampoo I'm using the silver ultra conditioning shampoo, which is a purple shampoo, and the purpose of using this is To control the brassy nuts and also stop the bleaching process from continuing so I'm doing two lathers with the shampoo to decondition, I'm using the Shea Moisture superfood complex mass, which is one of my favorites for my natural hair. It'S super thick and moisturizing I'll. Applying that all throughout the hair - and it also has good slip so I'm taking my Denman brush and brushing that through and it was really easy to detangle. I really liked how the definition of performed with the wig, so that was good and I'm gon na. Let this stay on the wig for 15 minutes after those 15 minutes, I'm gon na rinse out the deconditioning thoroughly, and I'm rinsing this out with cold water as well, just like how I would do on my natural hair as for shedding. This is how much hair came out of the wig, which I thought wasn't bad at all: it's 16 inches and it's a really thick wig. So this really wasn't too bad. So now we're gon na move on to styling, and, like I mentioned earlier, I am gon na blow the hair out. But before I do that, I'm gon na spray at the L'Oreal blow-dry a quick dry primer spray all throughout the wig to use as a heat. Protectant and then I'm gon na follow up with my blow-dryer and my Denman brush and just blow-dry the hair, the hair dried pretty fast, and it was really easy to blow-dry. I didn't have any issues with they like tangling back up. I mean it took me some time, but you know I was just sitting down and had my fan going, so I didn't really mind. It was easy to get through the hair. So that's what I was really happy about. This is what the hair looks like after it's all, blow-dried and also after styling. So I saved a section to show you guys what I'm, using and doing just spritzing the hair with some water very lightly, going in with natural 85s melanin twist elongated cream and also sealing with extra virgin olive oil, and that is literally it. So I'm gon na. Let the hair air dry overnight and I'll come back tomorrow to show you guys the results. So this is actually two days that are because I took the hair a little while to dry, so I'm ready to apply the wig I have on my wig cap and I just went ahead and unraveled each of those twists and the definition is beautiful. You guys it came out perfectly just like how I had envisioned, so I'm just gon na separate the twists a little bit since it is a really thick voluminous wig, I'm just using my fingers to separate and kind of make the definition look a bit more natural. How I'm gon na work on this part in hair line? I noticed that I made a little mistake when I was bleaching the knot and I got on the roots a little bit so we're just gon na fix this. I'M using the style factor edge booster hideout, which is actually a pomade used to cover grease. So I just applied it onto the mistakes and it covered those blonde knots perfectly and I'm just gon na brush that down with my boar bristle brush. Since I'm not gon na be gluing this wig down and ever glue any of my wigs down, I'm just going to play around with the baby hairs and make it blend, and that's why I really like the baby hairs feature on this wig, because I didn't have To pluck them actually and as my final step, I'm just gon na take my mac, mineralize skinfinish and dark golden and apply that once my parts make it blend better. So these are my final results. You guys, I was literally blown away with how defying the hair actually turned out the curls held so well its voluminous, its soft, its moisturized. This hair was very, very easy to work with. It is very thick, but it's a beautiful wig and great quality. Afro Khadisiac: Hey Afrodisiacs! Yess we got another upload! What do you guys think about this wig? It's THICK, but I liked it because my natural hair could never be this density lol xoxo

Reservechic: Such a super fierce look! As, you truly look absolutely breathtaking, hun! XOXO❤️

Candiblue: This wig is absolutely beautiful it is just like your own hair.....did you grow hair overnight?

Kathleen Harris: Not gluing it down saves your edges. Beautiful results! Looks great on you!

Felicia Dunn: This unit is so gorgeous! Beautiful

Kyeon TreVon: You really over there glowing tho! Love it!

Tricey G: I’m going to use that discount code to get me a wig!! It’s super cute!!!

Melisia Bowman: That's a great option during this already hot summer!

Just Chels: Came out great! Very natural looking. I thought this was your hair at first when I seen the pic on Instagram. lol

albeeinla: It looks gorgeous on you. Wow. Question: has that Shea moisture 10 in 1 super fruit complex mask been discontinued? I’ve gone to every retailer and no one carries it. In fact, Shea moistures site doesn’t have it anymore.

B B: Girl!! I thought it was yours when I saw the thumbnail!!! I want this wig!!

Shelly Reynolds: Howdy my Lil Golden Geisha girl you ain't lying this heat is ridamndiculous round hea. Can't wait til tomorrow so I can get my braids done to handle the upcoming fun in the sun. You did it again looking lovely as always. Now you know how much money I would save if I could hook up wicked styles the way you do??? Might have my beautician's hunting you down tho. I know I'm paying their children's education funds, and then some

Jan M: You mentioned that the Edge Booster covers grays. I have stubborn gray baby hairs that quickly grow out after a color. I am thinking of buying the Edge Booster to cover my gray baby hairs between coloring. Would love to get comments on this decision.

MrsLegalDiva: Good job Sis. I definitely thought this was your hair

RAHMAN MUHAMMAD: Great job Family

ThickFroCurlyJenn: It's pretty boo, but you have got to correct that hairline. I can see the lace. It's so fixable. Don't ask me how. I glue mine down, but I feel as though the glue does take out your natural hair over time. All that product does eventually seep into your scalp. It gets thin over time. Just look up one of the wig pros on here and they will tell you how to lay down the baby hair. If you don't like them laid stiff and hard, you can have loose ones, but a wig has GOT to be seamless on that hairline. Love you. Been watching you since 2012. Thought we had the same hair, but I think I'm low porosity.

Ama Adu: It’s really beautiful...hey khadibeauty , I have problem with ma instagram account and haven’t gotten access for more than 2 months now...buh still glad can see ur gorgeous face here
