Chit Chat Grwm: Simple Make Up & Natural 3C Kinky Curly Wig Review Ft Cranberry Hair| The Tastemaker

What'S up, everybody welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here, what's up welcome to the game, so today, I'm gon na be reviewing a unit from cranberry hair. This is my first time working with them. This unit was shipped to me via FedEx. Originally, I did not know what hair company it was because the box didn't have the company name on it so yeah anyway, so I'm gon na be reviewing this kinky curly hair today and when I say is kinky curly like this is like fluro fro kinky curly, Like it very much so mimics african-american hair girl, it's a whole lot again chick it's so like full and kinky like the curls can be defined though, but I just combed it out with like a little comb, because I was plucking it. So the curls are like really like combed out right now, but yeah, but here is the inside construction of the wig. Here is a lace closure. It'S a 4 by 4 lace closure. You do get some combs on the sides. I am going to cut these out right now because I just don't understand the purpose of those, and this is the back portion of the wig. It is full of tracks, it has adjustable straps in the back and then there's no place in the back, which I'm kind of happy about, because it's gon na save me some time. I don't have to cut that off. The lace on this wig is also very short, it's shorter than what I'm used to it's, not a lot of lace. So that's okay, though cuz it is a closure unit, but if this was like a full-on lace front unit, I don't know how much I would like that, just because I like having that extra lace, so I can like pull my wig down in a certain way. That'S just me, I almost forgot that I just said that I was going to cut the convo. I can't even cut these owls can and with this and it's like right, this comb y'all see this comb is literally right on the track. So I'm like look he's scared. If I cut this off, am I gon na accidentally cut some other kind of threads, because this is like secure, but I don't want combs right there cuz it's gon na irritate my scalp right there and damn did they superglue it down? I accidentally just cut my damn lace. Look, oh my god! Bro! Damn trying to get this stupid-ass comb out! I'M gon na have to sew this back. Please don't put these combs right here and don't put them in so tight like this, where you can't even cut it out like it's ridiculous. Oh this is so secure like this is too secure and I don't cut my lace up. Trying to cut this stupid ass. Come out, look I had to sew it like girl, shout out to my sewing teacher from high school because girl, okay, you guys so the first thing that we are going to start on obviously, are these browses. I was thinking about like finally going to get my eyebrows threaded, but I'm gon na let them grow out a little more. I just got ta be careful and make sure that I look at as many reviews as possible. So let's go ahead and get into these eyebrows, I kind of want to switch up my eyebrow routine. I just want to try something different like I want my eyebrows to look a lot more natural like, instead of it being like this, like. I want to see actual strokes. You know what I mean like when people get their eyebrows, microbe lady I'll, be using my 3502 palette. Here'S what it looks like I'm gon na be using this color right here, that's practically gone. I don't like to take it up too far. Sometimes I do and then I'm like mad about it later, but I try not to take it up too far and I'm using patting motions on the outer V or crease whatever is caught so that it can be more like dark beer. I'M so freakin excited I've. Accomplished a lot of things this year that just amazed me and God is just working in my life in so many ways, and it's always good to celebrate your progress and just celebrate your small wins and not focus on like your ultimate end goal. So because a lot of times people be like, oh I'm not at my end goal, but even when you get to your end goal, you're gon na have new goals, so just be happy about the inbetweeners too. So there's this artist that I have been. You know following for a while, like I followed her on Instagram, she has a really dope style and she's from LA just like me, I'm very local, just like me. You know she's from like the same area so anyway. I was happy because she had hit me up and she asked me to like work with her and make some wicks for her music video that she had coming out. But it was just so dope to finally be working with somebody that I I've admired somebody that's from where I'm from and just loves what I'm doing like she admires my craft. Just like I admire her, so I just thought it was dope to finally work with her. The music video is dropping September 20th. I'M just excited to be a part of that and I'll definitely post it on my Instagram. So if you guys want to see the wig that I made for her, I made her that wig and I'm just like so happy that my work is in stuff when you're doing what you love, like God, just opens up doors for you. He will pour opportunities into your life and it's just up to you to take advantage of those opportunities, and she had just hit me up like on the random girl hit me up on. I G like latest night and she has sent me a DM and she was like it's an emergency. I have a wig emergency like. I need you to make me some wigs. My video is like in a couple days and I need some wig, so I literally cooked up a wig for her in like a day two weeks in a day, she wants me to work with her again on some other stuff. You know when you work with one person, especially when it comes to stuff. Like this, you work with one person that person puts you out or you know tags. You want some shades. Somebody else may see you they hit you up, they want a wig and it is just like a domino effect you're, so money baby palette by Kylie, and I'm using this golden here called birthday Queens and I'm just gon na use my finger actually and pass it On top of the concealer that I have here, I feel like I might have to wait, wait for my concealer to dry a little bit more but yeah. This formula feels amazing and it's so freakin soft. It'S just like a little glittery gold. I like it. It'S very like neutral natural, but pop this good head start for Nik series: art early, no star, shows diet in January started right now, so you could be popping in January and keep it popping all year alone. I think that's a problem with a lot of people too in general when it comes to life and it's the reason why only certain people are successful is because a lot of people play the waiting game. Like you wait so long to do stuff, you wait for the right time to do stuff the times where you feel like it's, not the right time is actually the perfect time, but there was this other girl, and I was trying to work with her actually to Get some stuff made like I was trying to get some graphics made for taste levels right. I reached out to her because she always has nice graphics and she had just made a graphic for someone and I was like oh, I should have her make a graphic for me. Let me just see how much she charged so I hair up, and I asked her like how much you charge she said $ 50. I was like okay cool and I just said I wouldn't hurt a design, a flier for me like a something that I can use like for Instagram and then something - and I can also use like physical, that I can print out. So I tell her everything that I want. I sent her an example of the flyer that I want and everything and girl she sent me some bullsh like the stuff that she did. I couldn't did it myself, it was like you see, somebody else do something and they do it for themselves. They'Re gon na. Do it like to the utmost of their abilities, are gon na make a super behind for them? If it's a personal thing, but when it came to my it was my girl, I could've did that myself, I emailed her all the texts that I want it inside and all she day was copied and pasted on to the flyer. Put a regular plain. Fine. You know like when you turn on your word document and you have that plain fine. She had the plane, fine, she copied and pasted it. Then I had sent her a picture that I wanted to use for the front of the flier. She just posted that she copied and pasted that picture. Put it on the front of the fire, then use what I put in the email and copied and pasted it in the back and tried to charge me $ 50 for it you know, can you do like a different type of fun? You know like because I find it's like too plain: that's like basic, because once she knew her stuff, she had her stuff like super cute, I wish I could it and the thing about it. What she has sent it - and you know like on Instagram when you seen like pictures on Instagram to a DM like it deletes like after you look at it it. You know it depends on what that person puts like Sims. It adds because you can send it where you can keep it in the chat and then you could just see it in there or you can have it where you look at it once, but she only had it to where I can look at it once she Was making it seem like it was a problem for her to change it and I'm like girl. You act like I'm gon na, be satisfied with the first thing you send me if you're working on something for somebody just expect them not to be satisfied with the first thing that you send them, then she was trying to tell me the stuff that I was Telling her to do, she was like, oh well, you didn't say that in the beginning and I had to scroll back at our conversation, screenshot it and then send it back to her circulars, where I said it already. I just don't like it's just certain people, you just can't work with and it's just annoying and then I tell my sister about it and she was like you know. You shouldn't, have trust her. Everybody says that she's a scammer on this other I'm like a scammer. I mean it's not like she scanned me because she did do what she said she was gon na. Do I didn't like it? I don't listen to rumors and like that like like, even if we know like I'm usual person and somebody saying, oh, you shouldn't mess with her, because X Y & Z, like i'ma, get to know you first and then make my own judgment offer you, because you May just act that way with that particular person, or maybe somebody just misread you or you're misunderstood or maybe the two of y'all. Just don't click like that. You know what I mean. So that's why I never like passed judgment, but it's off is something that somebody else. That'S me so the latches that I am wearing I'm just gon na. So I'm trying to see if all of them sold out or if no damn nevermind, they also no okay. So now that our eye makeup is done, can go ahead and move on to our foundation. I'M gon na be using my peerless rose water spray that I purchased the other day. Now I'm gon na go ahead and put on my foundation, so the foundation that I'm currently using is the wedding world photo focus foundation in the shade mahogany. This is like the darkest shade that they have. I use this for my summer shade and then the other shade that I use is espresso, which is a shade up from this one. But that's my wintertime color is my summertime. Color girl. I barely got anything in here. That'S all. I'M like I have to go. Buy me some, the foundation foundation is Oh, oh, my god, so I saw that ISA ray is recording the new season of insecure. I don't know if any of you guys watch insecure, but it's literally like one of my favorite shows of all time like HBO. Pretty much has like a lot of my favorite shows of all time like Game of Thrones, definitely one of them, and then I've been using this. I bought this a long time ago and just wasn't using it. It'S this car pop, no filter concealer in the shade rich 75 yeah. I'M just gon na put that up under here cuz I used to cream contour, but I haven't cream contour it in a long time. So I'm just gon na put that there I feel like I wanted it to be a little bit darker, but it's fine, that's why I haven't used it cuz. I was like it's not really dark enough for me. I do actually like this because it's like a subtle bronze. It'S like not none too harsh, it's almost similar to like my skin tone, so you can barely see it, which I kind of like, because it makes it look a little bit more natural now to set my concealer, I'm gon na be using my Laura Mercier. I got the mini travel sized ones. So if you are a cheap like me, then buy the travel size one because it's only $ 27. It'S gon na last, you a while it's not something. That'S just gon na run out fast, because you don't need a lot of this, even though people like to bake with it and all that I don't bake with my powders if you leave it on for a long time. I just feel like it's going to give you a cast like a white cast since I've accomplished like a lot of things that one of us wanted to accomplish. I just have so much more that I want to do, and I hope that I'm inspiring you guys to do the same and just like go after it, whether you are at the beginning stage, the middle. I just want to inspire other people to just go after and just believe in yourself like. I feel like a lot of times like I'm just really hard on myself compared to like other people, like other people. Probably look at me one way, but I look at myself a completely different way and sometimes I feel like I don't realize my own potential at times like I underestimate myself cuz, even when it came to like selling wigs and stuff like believe it or not. Like I didn't think anybody was gon na buy my wigs like that, like I thought I might have so like, maybe one or two or something like that, but I had no idea was gon na be like how it is so. I feel like a lot of times in life. It'D be tiny. You got ta when you feel that urge to do something and you feel it like a stronger, that's constantly on your mind, you can't get it off your mind, it's a sign and it's intuition and you got ta pay attention to that pay attention to your intuition. The ideas that you get God talks to us through our thoughts a lot of times when you be thinking about doing certain things he's as he's telling you to go. Do that? Alright, that's how I look at it. When I get an idea, I jump on it. I don't wait because I feel like if I wait, then I end up seeing somebody else. Do it and then that's God, God make sure that you see somebody else doing what you was talking about doing. You know just to kind of like reel you back in and make you realize, like you know what, when I had these ideas, what I have these concepts, I need to jump on them and not wait on it. What are you waiting for? You know? I mean you're gon na be waiting forever. All right forget hate that hey when I think I'm recording it, I'm not anyway, I'm using this color by Rihanna, it's called PMS. I mean I got ta, make it look like fall. You know, I'm saying I got ta. Give you on the fall vines, it's fall. Time fall is my favorite time of year, and I like these lipsticks because they're so moisturizing like it's so so good on the lips there. So this is a finished makeup. Look now, let's go ahead and get back into this week. It was so cold because it's still wet cuz. You see like the hair like this. It holds everything like it's, not my favorite texture here, I'm not gon na like say it, but I know there's somebody out there that loves this kind of texture. So you know. Sometimes I don't do things for me. I do them for you guys, cuz. Obviously you know somebody like it, that's why they got it out there me. That'S all good guys. This is kind of cool because it just makes it look like I have like naturally curly hair. So that's like kind of the cool thing about it, but I definitely have to do some baby hair. So let me move on my makeup out of the way, so I can start working on my hair. The only thing I don't like about this camera is the fact that it just makes everything looks so much lighter, like my lips are literally like a dark brown burgundy, but on camera it just looks so light. Okay, there you guys can see. This is what I actually look like. Okay, you see the lip color okay, so, let's put in some baby hair cuz baby here is baby Harris. Make everything better baby Harris make the world go round, okay guys, so I went ahead and went both sides. So now this is what the hair is. Looking like, the baby hair is looking like it's still looking very natural. You can't see where I sold anything, yet I mean cuz. It was messed up on this side, like you can see a little bit right there, a little black piece, but you can barely tell so that's a good thing like I didn't mess it up too bad, but it's looking like scalp all the way through and then The texture it just makes it look like how my hair would look if I was mixed or just like a regular african-american hair too, like I could be looking like this too, but that's the kind of vibe that it does give me. I am gon na put this curl cream in that I normally put in and see if this kind of helps tame it, especially just like, at least in the front part. You know like the very front. Half that's like closest to my face cuz. I just don't want to be like smothered by hair, but I just like, like I said this hair, definitely mimics african-american hair. It holds like water. That'S one thing that I did. One of this you guys know, look how the combs out it comes out very well. It'S very easy to comb through it. It'S not like getting stuck at all, as you guys can see. You see like how all the product is kind of like this sitting on the hair like that, but you can see it like the white stuff cuz. It'S not like really absorbing the product which is crazy to me. I'M like dang. This hair is so thick. That'S why cuz I hair is thick and curly. This is definitely not some here that you can just sleep on. You cannot put this wig on and just try to fall asleep somewhere you go and wake up with a bird's nest. When you see how you can see all the product like, I don't like that, it won't absorb the product like the product is like sitting on top of the hair. This is a mousse like it's not even like. I have look at all that y'all can't even tell. Can you see that all of this just came out of my hair? I just got a message back from Anna Leigh. She goes with me yet I'm happy. She said that I might not get her by Saturday. She said I'm I can make something shake for those birthday girl on the house. She calls soupy stuff of my birthday. Oh yeah, I'm so exciting. Now, okay, okay, okay, relax, relax, relax! I just want some new lashes girls. It'S gon na be my birthday, and so I just want to be poppin poppin, but look how natural this hair looks like I bleached the hell out of it. It'S looking like straight-up scalp out here, hello, so yeah. You guys talk about wraps up today's video. I hope you guys really enjoyed it. This whole natural vibe, because, like girl aspects of the light, I'm kind of feeling a hair right now my goal, I'm kind of feel anything, but at first I was like what the fudge is. This thick coarse, like it's just so thick like even I, was still pretty thick and it's still like getting kind of poofy or whatever, but I just feel like it's just gon na give me the natural vibes that I want. I wasn't very sure, like how I felt about it honestly until now. I definitely liked it a lot more because once it's tamed, I like it when it's just in its natural state, I'm not a big fan of it, but you guys saw that it was very easy to comb through this hair. It does hold a lot of water and it does require some kind of curl lotion or some kind of curl products you can go to like Sally's. You can use like Cantu or something like that on this hair.
