What'S up y'all, it's, oh! So dope, I'm back for another video! If you guys are interested to see how I got this messy cue date, night updo then make sure you guys keep watching all right. Y'All y'all see me watching Corey Kenshin y'all know I love watching. My gamers um, so let's just jump right into the video um as y'all, can see. This wig is looking a little bit crusty around the edges um, but I'm gon na fix that. So don't worry, I'm just taking out the baby hairs that I already previously had on the wig, just making them a little bit shorter, um and more layered, just taking my flat iron and curling. Those under I do have a baby flat iron y'all, but I never plug it up um. So I'm using this got to be glue. Gel makes it way easier to blend and swoop, and I'm taking this makeup to kind of darken up my perimeter of my head. So now I'm taking out my two bang pieces for the front and this hair is kind of long um. I forgot, I think it's a 24 or 24 or 26 inch y'all seen it in one of my last videos. Um go check out my last few hair videos y'all. Do that, for me, please um, but I am going to do a little bit of clipping today, not too much um, but I'm just taking my hair and I'm going through not halfway about halfway, um actually yeah about halfway through and putting it up into a ponytail. I'M leaving down like a few rows of tracks, not many um at the back and then I'm just gon na take the ponytail and flip it frontward and turn it into a little bun as y'all can see. I know how people used to do their ponytails like that, but I did it towards the front if that makes sense, so flip it towards the front to do a little bun and then let the hair fall into the front of my face. I hope that makes sense um. This is going to give us a base um and not like a hard bun, but like it's going to give the messy effect, especially because it's like a fan, ponytail and then I'm just gon na take my two bang pieces and twist them out of the way To keep them um out of the way of the other hair. So now I'm taking this bobby pin to pin down the side of the wig. A lot of people have videos on YouTube about how to do these without having a 360 front tool, but no one ever seems to show the back of their hair or how they do it. So here I am to show y'all how I do mine um. I'Ve been doing hairstyles like this for a while, so I had to improvise and come up with a way to kind of make it look good um, so yeah, I'm just taking all those front pieces piece by piece and I'm flat ironing them um. If you find that a curl doesn't look right or you need to redo, it feel free to do so. I was going for kind of like not really a tight curl but like a loose curl, because I wanted everything to still have that, like not uniform kind of look so um. If I had more time, I would have took smaller pieces probably, but I was in a little bit of a rush um, so yeah. I really wanted to crank this style out, though, because I promise y'all I've been binge watching videos on this look and I wanted to do one as well and try it and see how it came out plus, like I said, nobody ever showed the back and I'm Like, oh, my God, that's crazy, like it's so easy um. So yes, you just see me playing around with this last little curl, my flat irons had cut off on me. I guess I pressed the button and I was like why is my hair, not curling? So I had to redo that one and yeah this part is pretty self-explanatory. I'M just curling them no specific way or anything like that um. So now I'm going to take the ends of the ponytail and anchor them down, because this is going to be our base. That we're going to base everything else off of - and I know y'all, see my cap and everything picking out in the back, but that's okay, because we're gon na fix that so don't come for me in the comments because we're gon na get there we got ta. We got ta get this part done. First, though, so, like I said, I anchor those two ends now, I'm gon na start taking some of the curls and just pinning them in different ways, um placing them first to see what looks right and then just pinning them. When I like their look so the first one, I feel like that with the placement of that one was really cute. I did go through and recurl one of the curls because I felt like it needed to be redone um, but for the most part, I'm just pinning everything after I place it to see what looks right foreign foreign. So now I am doing The Sideburns um. Basically, what I did was just take a piece of hair and cut it and then bump it, and then I'm going to do the same thing to the other side um. I just pulled out two random pieces on each side in the same spot. Um and, as you can see, looks super cute um. If you find that any of the curls are not going, how you want them to go, you could just simply take a bobby, pin and fix it to make it look how you want it to look um yeah. So that's basically what I did there and now I'm gon na show you guys how I do the back of my hair um, but I'm just securing the top first. So now, what you guys see me doing is playing around to make sure everything is up correctly. Um, like the size that was falling down and then I'm just hot combing, my kitchen a little bit um, because I did wind up later off camera, applying something to Slick it up a little bit. I just wanted to get them a little bit straight. So that's what you see me doing. There is just running My Heart comb through them, because my braids under here are old, almost time for me to take them down. So I brushed the hair out and I pulled it together as if I was going to put it in a ponytail. I clipped one side down and then the other side down, and then I'm going to take it and flip it to the right side. Um as if I was about to wrap my hair, you can see there's traction on, but I'm about to cover those up. Then I flip it to the left side and you see it's kind of creating like a banana. I don't know which what they call that clip method that people use the invisible. I don't know y'all know what I'm talking about when they twist it up in the back, and it makes like a little bun going upward. Y'All know what I'm talking about. I'M gon na insert a picture, so y'all see what I'm talking about, but I just flip that up after I went to the other side, I hope that made sense and then I'm just pulling out two pieces of hair. Now these two pieces of hair, I meant to pull them out both in the like back of my head, but I actually messed up, and I did one like in the very back and one towards the side more so which you'll see when I turn around. But that's okay, because for next time I know to put it more in the back, because that's supposed to also serve as a way to cover your nape of your hair um. But it's okay, because I wasn't really going nowhere for real um but yeah. I cut that and then I just flipped that - and now this one you can see is more so on the side of my head versus right in the back, which is where I wanted it to be um for the purpose that I just mentioned, but um. It'S fine as long as you slick up the back of your hair. If you have a natural hair texture, a more coarse hair texture like myself more thick, then you would have to do it like I'm doing it with like slicking up the back. Otherwise, if you have like a more fine texture hair, you could probably just do a couple of curls like this in the back of your head. I could have done that as well, but I didn't want to put any heat on my own hair. I just wanted to leave my hair alone and, like I said it is braided up, so it was easier for me to do it this way, but you could do either one um. Even for my natural girls, like myself, you can still make this work with leaving a little bit of hair out in the back. So now I'm just simply fixing a couple of curls in the back from that piece that I flipped up just to make it look uniform and, as you can see, that's what the back is looking like. It'S looking really neat, it's not all it's not slapped around together. It'S neatly placed um. I just like, I said popped some gel on the back of my edges and everything is cool. I didn't get that part on camera, but y'all get the point. So don't come for me so now I'm gon na focus on the bang pieces of my hair. I'M not gon na leave them this long. I am going to go ahead and flatten them out and straighten them a little bit with my hot comb. That'S going to make them lay flat because they was kind of bumpy um. So that's what I'm doing and I'm still watching my Corey Kenshin. It was getting good. He was playing a really good game. So that's why I'm looking down as y'all can see. So I'm going to take my scissors and I'm going to cut a mango going downward um. These are not shears or anything. So, of course the cut is not going to be perfect, but I really didn't care too much, because this was a free wig that I got so I didn't mind doing a little chopping to it. One of my bang pieces was longer than the other, but once I curled it, it wasn't as obvious. I still don't even think it's that obvious with them straight, but I think this style looked way better with it curly. This would be a cute like freak neck. Hairstyle or like um for a date night um, you know something real cute Valentine's Day Vibes. I might wear my hair like this for Valentine's Day. I just think it's so cute and it's really easy to do. It doesn't really take much work. Um. You just have to make sure you do your base right and that you have enough body pins, but this is basically the finished look guys. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope I answered some questions for those of you who have been looking for a video where they show you how they do the back of their head.
