50 Inch Braids | Sensationnel Box Braids 50" Wig Review

Sensationnel Box Braid 50" Wig is being reviewed in today's video. This wig is an older braid wig from Sensationnel. Box Braid 50" wig is heat friendly with baby hair. She is a synthetic wig and has medium size box braids that are 50 inches in length. Sensationnel Box Braid 50" has 4x4 parting space allowing you to wear a center, right, or left part. This wig has a light density and is a yaki silky texture. Box Braids 50" wig comes in a few colors. We reviewed the wig in the color T1B/613. T1B/613 is a natural black braid at the roots and down into the middle of braid goes into a platinum blonde, down to the tips. This wig is really long and although the construction has some flaws it is worth getting the style.

Hello, my name is ikoya, i'm the creator and founder of silky sex, a luxury haircare line, and i'm here today to do a review on sensationals 4x4 box, braid 50 inches y'all y'all heard it right 50 inch wig, but before we get into that, if this is Your first time coming over to success, i want to say thank you so much and welcome here we do wig reviews, we give you hair tips, we do product tutorials, all kind of fun things with wigs and hair. So if that's your kind of thing or maybe you should consider subscribing, we do drop videos every monday and friday and to my returning silky chick, hey boo. Thank you so much for stopping by again and if you're watching over on facebook, hey, we love our stupid chicks over on facebook too. So now without further ado, let's get into why you hit that thumbnail. Let'S talk about this whole 50 inches y'all, 50. Inches of hair, so this is sensational's box. Braid 50 inch wig, i'm rocking around the color t1b613. As you see, she is the one be at the top and she blends into this beautiful 613. Now she does come in some other colors. Not very many colors, though this is an older unit. I want to say she came out maybe two years ago it might have been longer, i'm not sure, but i know she definitely is over a year. Definitely i think at least two years for sure, and i never tried her because number one. She was 50 inches and i was like, oh my god, that's so much hair and when she came out, braid wigs still were kind of iffy and the price was expensive and i just thought um. It could be a 50 inch mess. There wasn't a lot of reviews of her, but now that my wig fidenz is up yes, my wig for dance is where it needs to be. I was like you know what for spring long braids are trending. I never tried that wig she's cheaper now, because she's been around for a minute. Let me see if i can slare, because my slaying skills are up there, let's see if we can get with her, and i think we did a good job. So you guys, let me know down in the comments. What do you think of her? Do you like her? Would you wear this wig? I know she's dramatic, but you know if you watch my line, i tend to be a little bit more dramatic, okay. So anyway, so let's get into her bells and whistles. She has a lace parting area of four, so you can um push the hair over to the right i'll push the brace over to the left i'll go with the center part. I want, with a center part watch the inning you'll find out why um, but you definitely can the space is there to do it, but i definitely just went ahead and went with the center part. She does have natural baby hairs that i did try to swoopity-doop. I'M not the best, but i did because i feel like braid. Wigs kind of you need baby hair to make them work. I did end up cutting some of them off on accident, but yes, and then she is hot water friendly. So if you wanted to like curl the ends um with the rolls or do something or dip her, which you will see, i definitely did i do with all my wigs. I definitely suggest you do that she can um and that's really it she's a premium fiber. Yes, i definitely agree she definitely um, you know is soft and i dipped her as you'll see in the video, so she is even softer for her to be so long, she's, not scratching or anything like that. She has a nice density now they definitely could have. Probably used a little bit more braids in the top, but i mean she's definitely cute you definitely um can rock her. I, like you, know that you can. You know now, with clips and headbands and all kind of stuff being popular and in style. You can definitely do some fun looks with this one and i definitely think she is a look she's. Definitely not for every day. Okay, she's a look, but if you dramatic you might rock her every day. I don't know i mean: do you want to serve him at the grocery store if you do hey get to slaying so anyway, without further ado, let me go ahead and let you get into the styling unboxing and watch the pros and cons, because there is some Pros and cons of this unit so definitely want to check that out and we have a freebie giving you tips on things that you could be doing right now. That is destroying your wig, so make sure you check those out before you leave all kinds of good stuff in the description box, and so now without further ado. Let'S go ahead and get into this unboxing styling pros and cons of this one all right. So here it is you guys, 50 inches, let's go ahead and open her up all right, so here she is out of the pack. You guys i got to go like this, so she can be on the screen. Look at that: okay. 50 inches blue 50 inches. So, as you can see, the color goes down to this blonde. These tips on this are really really nicely braided. You guys um. Let'S go ahead and get into this cap. We have the baby hairs on it. The the lace is tinted. It is a little brown. Let'S go ahead and get into the cap, so it is four by four, so just a little parting space there, but this is an older wig. So you know the bigger in that larger area was not as popular as it is now, especially for braid wigs. So it has this strap, which i think is really nice. I know some people don't like these straps, but they're nice and you can definitely um cut it out if you don't, but i just like that they hold it in place, got the two combs here. The comb in the back and the typical adjustable straps, so let's go ahead and put her on. Oh, my god, you guys, okay, i'm looking in the mirror back here. So just excuse me four minutes, she's in a good place. Um. You know it's a little poofy here in the crown which you know for me is always a telltale sign. If you watch me, like you know, i always say poofy in the crown. We know it's a wig boo, so we're definitely gon na have to go in and put some heat there and help with that um. But you know, the big thing is i was worried about. Is is this going to be heavy because when you get your real hair braided, you know it's heavy, especially the longer it is. The hair can be kind of heavy those first few days. So i guess that's the benefit right of a wig. You don't have that. Heaviness, because this is very very light, it is definitely big head friendly. I definitely have room here to put on a wig grip or whatever it is that i want to put on and i'm sitting down you guys and it's touching the floor so um, i'm only 5'4. So we'll put some footage. Of course of me standing up in here, so you guys can see what it looks like when i you know when i'm standing all the way up, but she killed you. I like it so far, so let's go ahead and get into a 360.. So here she is in the front here she is to the right here. She is to the left, and here she is in the back. You know, let me do this too. Before i go, let me just see i'm looking in my mirror to see what i'm doing you guys. So i'm sorry that i'm not connecting but i'll be with you, but i was just trying to look okay at the 4x4 spacing so you know you do have where you can split her. You know do a little left or right side part, and you can see it. You know some scalp, so you know like i said this is an older wig. It'S not brand brand new, but so far so good. So we gon na cut the lace off style. It stay tuned to the end, so you can get my pros and cons. California, we keep it now. Let me welcome everybody to the wild wild west, all right, so i am back from styling sensational's 50 inch box braid waist. So let's go ahead and get into it, so the first thing i did is: i went ahead and cut the lace off. When i cut the lace off, i was very careful not to cut off the baby hair now, even though i'm not a big baby. Hair fan - and i don't usually lay baby hair on my wigs for braid wigs, i feel like it, helps the wig look more natural, especially around the hairline, because you can't pluck it like you would a wig that you know has a straight or different. You know natural or regular hairstyle. You can pluck the hairline to help it not look so healthy and not so wiggy, but with a braid wig. You really don't have that option, because it's braided right, so i feel like baby hairs, especially swooping them in the front along the lace, can help not only camouflage the lace but also make it a little bit more realistic, or at least have people like. Is that a wig, or is that singles or braids or whatever style? It is so just a tip there? Now, with all of my wigs as you seen in the video i like to dip them in hot water now, if i was getting singles like this with a normal braid here and my real hair, i would dip it. So i find that dipping braid wigs, like you, would dip the wigs really tends to help with the hair number one. It just helps bring the hair together and kind of like melt it and refine it a little bit, and i feel like at the top because it was poofy, as you remember like i was saying before it's not as poofy anymore. In my opinion, when you put some heat on it, so i did do that now to be careful, because i think i boiled it for like 20 minutes and some of the baby hairs did melt off now. I do believe that you should dip the hair, but if you're going to wear this wig, definitely dip it the night before, if you're going to dip it, because it took forever for this wig to dry, it's 50 inches, it's a lot of hair, and so the Tips were just it was just water all over my floor in the kitchen all over my carpet. I mean it's just water, so it'll you know dry up, but just something to remember it does take a while to dry. I didn't film it on camera, but i did go ahead and actually try to take the blow dryer and just blow dry. These ends a little bit because it was taking forever. So my suggestion would be, if you're going to dip the wig, which i highly recommend you dip your wigs when you buy a braided wigs, definitely do it the night before, so that it can dry so that when you're ready to go the next day, you can Just go ahead and throw your wig on you: don't have to worry about it, getting your outfit wet and your clothes wet, and just like wetting up everything and everywhere that you're going so just um. If you're gon na dip your wig, that's cool, just dip it. The night before so i didn't have a lot of baby hair to work with, but i did my best to lay it down so once i did that this lace on this one is not hd, because this wig was created before hd lace and all that stuff Was on synthetic wigs, but the lace still was not that bad. I did melt it down as you've seen. I did go in with my even ten spray to make it brown because i just feel like because it has that four by four parting space. If i wanted to do something different than i definitely could - and i didn't want to have to take the time to be working with the lace later, so i thought i would save myself some grief and just go ahead and tint that lace then, so i would Recommend the same just go ahead and tint the lace, especially if you're going to do the different partings. Now i did go ahead and go with the middle part. I was going to go with the side part, but i felt like when i went to put it to the side. It was kind of like lumpy, so i feel, like you, have to put a lot of heat into this wig and, as you've seen, i even went in with my barrel curling iron, to put some heat at the top to just get it to be flat, because I'M really really really a stickler about the crown of my wigs laying my flat. I just think it looks more realistic, so i did that. I also melted the wig down because i just wanted to melt. You know this front part down to really help hide that laces, i cut so much baby hair off. I feel like sometimes when you melt the lace. It helps it look a little bit more realistic because it's not as obvious in. I definitely think the lace melted. Pretty good, especially for it being an older unit, and then i did style my baby hairs, i'm not the greatest at styling, but i did the best that i could and then after styling the baby hair um. You know i went in and opened up the part. A little bit more with the fit me powder just to make it more defined and more realistic. So really you know after the fit me powder that was it. You know this week was definitely an easy throw on and go. It definitely did not take um a lot of work and it wasn't, you know, really dramatic with it being. You know such a dramatic hairstyle. There wasn't really a lot of work. I expected it to be a little bit more work, especially because of the length and it being an older, braid wig, but it wasn't a lot so let's go ahead and get into those pros and cons. So for the pros, this style is absolutely gorgeous like. I know it's a lot. It'S dramatic. I love the color on this. This color blend is beautiful. The braids are beautifully braided. They come down very nicely um. There is a lighter density on the wig, but i don't mind that i think the lighter density um makes it. You know, makes it nice, especially since it's so much hair and usually when wigs and extensions and things like that are longer. The density tends to be lighter, so i like that i, like the band. I know some people don't like the band, but i really feel like the band helps a lot. It is big hair friendly. You got a lot of room in here to stretch i like that. You do have options to either go center right or left like. I said if you're going to do that, you just need to put a little bit more heat in it, so that it can do that and also it melted down pretty nice. It wasn't a lot of problem melting, this wig down, especially for being an older wig. As far as the cons she is 50 inches so like sitting down and going places and doing things she's definitely more of a look. Unless you just don't care about those kind of things, she can be a lot as far as like moving and maneuvering, i did go out and do a few errands with her on, and you know just making sure i wasn't sitting down on her and moving her Around that kind of thing she was a lot um. The other con would be here. So let me just show you here i'll insert the footage. So at the top here you have these, you know the braids going to the side, but then there's like it's like you know a line for a black of a better explanation and then the braids start. So they don't look like normal singles. They. You can tell that there's like braid here that can kind of look a little wiggy, because singles would just look like this at the top right. Just like a plain single, but you kind of have space here now it is at the top of the wig. So i'm sure so maybe somebody told me you could probably see it. I don't know if they're out and about if the normal person is going to see it, but because i want to give you an honest review of this wig that right. There can definitely definitely definitely be a con because it is kind of a telltale sign that it is a wig. So that's the only really con i had as far as construction um is that right here i just wish they would have put another layer of singles to go on top of this, so that it could look um just a little bit more realistic. But you know this is older unit, and maybe they did that because it would be probably a little bit more humpier there. I don't know, but that would be really my only con. So if you are looking to be on trend and want a dramatic braid wig, i think she's worth it. I mean she is expensive, but if you like the look, she is not as expensive as it would cost to get this done in reality, and when i take her off, i'm not going to put her back into the plastic bag that she came out of. I'M going to put her in my luxury, silky sack and silky sexy sick lime bag that i invented not only story wigs but to add longevity to them. The silk lining allows the hair to just glide cutting down on the shedding tangling matting that these wigs would do if you were to just put it back into the plastic. So if you want to check out silky socks, our website and some of the other fabulous products that we sell to keep your wigs looking good, the link to it is down in the description box and now without further ado.
