How To | Crochet Braid Curly Wig & Updo

Hey guys, what's up and thanks for stopping by my channel Kristin Michelle today, I'm going to show you guys pretty much a two-in-one crochet video. So if you're ready, let's go ahead and jump right into it. So this is the cap that I'll be using to crochet the hair on it's easy, it's what I've been doing all my crochet braids on, because I don't have any time to install things on my head for a long period of time now this is the a Free natural crochet, braids two times: Caribbean bundle. This is in a three a water wave and it has two packs and one - and this is in the color t1b / purple. What I love about the packaging of this here is pretty much you get like two packs or crochet here in one. So it's awesome because I only needed about three and a half packs and all I'm doing is I'm just pushing the hair on the cap and I'm going around the perimeter, and I just keep spacing it out. However, when I get closer to the center, I really have this hair nice and pretty much on top of one another, and I receive this hair from elevate Styles, calm, which I get a lot of my crochet here and wigs from because they have just a variety Of different things, and so I really want to try out this purple beautiful texture, the hair is super soft. It doesn't really frizz at all as a nice bluster on it. It has a nice gradient effect, so it goes from a really dark purple to lighter on the ends which I like, because that way you don't have some texture and some you know some different vibes to it, which I can really appreciate. So, as you guys can see now that I'm getting to the center of the wig cap, I'm literally doing it like right next to one another. So it is a little more tedious than when you're crocheting. You know braids or twists, but it's worth it and the curl pad is really beautiful. It mimics a nice, loose, three-c kind of texture, and also this brand has a variety of different textures from curly to coyly, which is awesome in a variety of colors as well. But I want to go out the box and do something purple and just fun and different for the summer. So now I'm placing the cap on my head. It fits really nice. However, you're definitely going to need to shape this so either you know have a friend who cut here or you're comfortable with it go for it. I'M going to do a nice fros, I'm giving my so some bangs. I hate decisions that I'm using. So I did switch off camera to some better shares. So I love my really good ones in Connecticut, but I'm just pretty much shaping the wig and I'm just making sure I'm looking in the mirror to really make sure that I'm framing my face - and these are the final results. I really love how it turned out. I love the gradient ombre effects of this hair and I'm just using my hands to really pull it apart, the more you pull it apart, the bigger this hair gets, which is awesome and, like I said, I only use three and a half pack. So if you want to install more to make it bigger, you can, but this was just the right amount for me and at the top you pretty much can't detect anything. This here is fluffy, it's soft, it has a nice luster on it and it doesn't frizz. So now for part two, I'm going to show you guys how I make my frohawk - and this is another piece that you can order I'll, leave all the links for the caps and the pieces down below and pretty much. I just did the same crochet method going around a circle and tighter in the center. I really made it nice and close to one another and it has these wig clips on the bottom. So I'm going to cut the lace off on camera and then I'm just going to go ahead and clip it to my head and you can use this as a pony tail as a frohawk, I'm pretty much doing it upside to. And I just looked my hair up with some gel. I probably did a little better job of really slicking it down but, like I said, I have a taper cut, so I use as much gel bobby pins as I could, and also, if you wanted to you, could braid your hair up. There'S a lot of different things you can do, but I just love this little side, updo kind of vibe. You can do with a pony tail. You can do this as a mohawk or a fauxhawk, and so there's a lot of a write that you can do with this curly textured.
