Hey guys and welcome back to kicking it with team, as you can see from the title down below today, I'm gon na be showing you guys how I achieved this slicked ponytail. This is the first time that I am gon na be doing this and that's basically what I'm here for for me to experiment and come to you guys with a proper method. So you guys don't ruin your hair, but, as you literally just saw from that last clip the lace literally melts into my skin without me even having to apply it, and I really love the curl pattern of this hair as well. I'Ve had this hair since May 2018 and with all the deep conditions and combing and everything a lot of the hair in the back around the band has come out. Actually because I did do a video of me thinning out the hairline there. So, in order for me to actually achieve a slicked look, this thing needs to fit my head perfectly and I do have a small head. So what I'm gon na do is right behind the ear I am gon na so kind of like bunch it up and sew the pieces together and then I'm gon na cut out the last comb that I have in the back. In order for the lace to be able to leave flat, so it doesn't lay a lot flatter in the back now and now we can properly see the portion that we can cut off, because the clip was kind of preventing us from actually cutting the piece and Once you've cut it off, you can just dash that little piece away because you're never gon na need it again and the lace looks a lot a lot better and it is gon na blend much better onto your skin once you lay it on, but for right Now mine is a little bit too thick, so I'm just gon na go in and thin it out. Once you get to the desired like thickness in the back, you can go ahead and flip it inside out and add your desired color for like the powder, so it can blend in a lot better. But mine is not so after thinning it out and adding some powder. You can see that this look looks a lot better and right now, I'm just kind of lining it up on my hair, seeing where I want to position it and then it's just a regular, regular Doug Euler apply the lace onto my head. You can use ghost bungu like me, or you can go ahead and use the gossipy glue. What other? Whatever method you want to use to apply it, but I'm just gon na go ahead and let this go through, because we all know this step. Okay, to use this little comb brush thingy to kind of push my hair back in order for me to see what parts of the lace are not actually applied properly, so, as you can see, that is that a little bit right there, so I'm gon na go In and add, more go spawn gloom blow-dry it and make sure everything is set and applied properly. No more. I have really sensitive eyes so every time I blow-dry am, i I start to water uncontrollably and look at my little eyelash over there. Just like literally hanging on for dear life. Can we talk about people who never want to help you, but when they need help, they always want to be the one to ask you, let's talk about that anyway, so because I'm doing this by myself, I I'm using two mirrors. One is here, and one is here and I'm just gon na go around my head without a ghost bungalow and once it sure I'm just gon na place, Elise, you know I mean come on wan na race. You are a gypsy girl.
