Yeah girl call me back i'm giving him the t on this twist out. You already know: what's poppin, what's up beautiful people, my name is sable and welcome to my channel curls with cpa. Wait to take you on my perfectly appropriate journey and today we're going to get into my quick mid-week wash and style routine, using my favorite products from trey lux. Yes, shout out to trey lutz for sponsoring today's video. We love to see it, but i'm always excited to partner with them, because one their ingredients are super clean. Two, it's a black woman-owned business, but also the hair care system is super simple and effective, and it's perfect for busy bodies like me now. I would typically do this routine during the work week or maybe a day where i don't feel like being in and out of the shower just getting me in and out so whether you work full-time you're, a full-time parent or you're. A lazy natural. This routine is perfect for you, and i'm also going to show you how i wear my twists right most of the time, if i'm doing my hair on a morning before i go to work, i'm gon na have to wear my twist. Okay - and so i know some of you are not comfortable doing that, and so i'm gon na give you guys some styles that you can do and also some parting techniques you can use to make it look a little more. You know you know just give you a little more pizzazz, whether you're going to work church or, if you're, taking an impromptu trip to walgreens speaking of walgreens insert promo here, i'm super excited to announce that select walgreens are having a 25 off sale on trade. Looks products all right: you can either shop online and go for store pickup or you can go, get your steps and go straight to the store. If you're interested in finding out what store is near. You carrie treluck's products, just click the link down in my description box or go to discovertradelux.com forward slash store locations to see what stores near you got the goods. Now, although the sale ends on june 26th, i need you to run not walk. Okay, because chairless products typically sell out quickly at walgreens i'll make sure i'll put all the details to the sale down in the description box. So you don't forget and you're able to shop as soon as possible, also per usual links to every products that i use and that i mentioned will be down in the description box below and if you happen to be shopping outside of the sale window, you can Use my code, cpa, 15 to say 15 off on trey lux's website, but now that the preliminaries are out of the way, if you're interested in seeing how i went from this to this to this to this, to this then keep watching. Oh wait, wait! Wait. It makes you stick around until the end to hear which products i recommend it's all of them, so i started off with a six day old wash and go, and my hair wasn't super tangled or dry. So i just skipped the pre-poo step and i was able to use the slip for my previous styling product and the water pressure to quickly detangle, which is really important, because i'm usually doing these wash days in the wee hours of the morning before work after detangling. I went in with a moisturizing shampoo and after rinsing i went in with the tray luxe untie the knot, leave-in conditioner and y'all. Don'T let the loose consistency, fool you, this multi-use, leave-in conditioner is so moisturizing and slippery, and definitely one of my faves. Since i'm doing a twist out - and i'm probably going to be leaving the twist in for a couple days - i'm really generous with the leave-in conditioner. But if your hair gets easily weighed down just be careful and just add a little bit at a time per usual. I apply the product all over and i really work it in and hold up. Wait a gosh darn second hold up wait a minute. Can we take a moment to appreciate the empty okay? I had to put this joint upside down, so i can make sure i can get all the leave-in out of it. But that's how you know the love is real, because this is done. Okay done, but after applying the leave-in conditioner all over, i break my hair into smaller sections to make sure each strand is coated, and then i detangle and then i twist and as i mentioned before, this is a multi-use leave-in, so it can be used as a Rinse out conditioner, deep conditioner, leave-in, styler and daily moisturizer, but today i'm going to be using it as a deep conditioner and leave-in. To save me some time and of course i just repeat the steps all over. I apply the leave-in work it in detangle and twist and when i'm done, i just add a couple plastic caps, as i would do with any deep conditioner and, depending on how much time i have i'll either use my deep conditioning cap or just use. My body heat as i take a shower to give the leave-in a chance to really penetrate my strands, and here i am 30 minutes later and my hair has absorbed most of the products and y'all. It feels so good. It felt good when i first put the leave-in on, but even if you just have five minutes, i promise you. Your hair will feel better if you just put on a cap and just let that joint, marinate okay and at this point you could rinse out the conditioner. Maybe your hair is easily weighed down and you don't need leave-in end cream. You could just rinse your hair and then go in with the cream, but as for me in my house, the conditioner is staying in my hair and then i'm going to add the tray luxe curl supreme cream on top and if you've seen any of my other Tray looks videos and you know i love this cream, it's thick without being like too thick. It'S not going to weigh your hair down, but it still has some weight. It'S like a perfect balance and it's really moisturizing and i've used it on wet hair and dry hair and both i've gotten bomb results. So it's giving versatility now that my hair is nice and sectioned and organized i'm going to add a moderate amount of the tray. Looks reflex curl, styling, serum and i love this product, even though the cream and leave-in feel really good together. When you add the serum on top, it gives you a silky slippery feeling and, as you work, the products in you can feel your hair getting smoother and smoother. My hair felt a lot better after i worked the product in than when i just put it in when i just put it in it felt good, but when you work it in it just lays the cuticle down, and that helps for your twist and your twist Out to look better and i apply the serum to the whole section just to make sure i don't use too much of it. I use basically like a quarter or a little more than that per section, and i have about six sections in my hair and i just twist and twist and twist and once i get to the front. That'S when i decide how i want my hair to lay if i want a middle part, if i want a side part, if i want a really deep side part and this time around, i picked the deep side part and i made sure to flat twist the Side with most of the hair, so that my hair wasn't all up in my face, i just like how a deep side part looks when i'm styling my twists and something i don't always mention is y'all, don't be afraid to do a twist over okay. When i finish twisting my whole head, if i notice that the twist maybe looks really frizzy - or maybe it just looks kind of disformed best believe i'm gon na unravel it and re-twist it, i know some of you might not care, but for the perfectionist in the Room hello: this is something that i often do now that i'm done my twists look juicy. They are shiny, they are supple. They are soft they're, not super wet, which is a really good thing, but they're still very, very much very much damp okay. So i'm just gon na put on my satin scarf, i like to make sure that my edges and the crown of my head are covered that just helps to lay any flyaways down. It just helps my style to set, and i just leave the back and my ends free, so they could dry. What'S up guys coming to you two days later, okay, i've been working from home for the past two days and i said to myself: i'm going to come show y'all some hairstyles before i go to work, but i've been home. So i just it's been me. My twist bonnet on and off there is a little bit of frizz, but i'm going to show you guys how i get rid of that, and so i'm going to show you guys a couple of styles that i like to do when my hair was shorter. I did these deep side parts more often it just kind of gives you a little pizzazz. You know. You'Ve got the front the hair in front of your hair. You can be a little more um radical with how you do your twists in the front, because your hair is short and it hits here. Then you can kind of you know come here here here, but because my hair is longer. I don't like my hair. My face i had to just kind of put it over like this okay, so what i'll do is i just want to make sure that all my twists are laying you'll see that this is laying nicely i twist this twist on this. When i twist my hair, i make sure i twist it going back, because i know at some point it's going in a ponytail, okay, and so, as you can see, because i twisted this backwards, it lays flat and i'm able to put my hair in one and It doesn't look strange, okay, and so, of course, this is the first style, and sometimes what will happen is you'll see like how these twists are, laying and you're not really feeling it. So you can just take the ones that you don't like and stick it in a ponytail or stick the just. Take all the friends, everybody everybody we go. We go on a field trip into the scrunchie, and so i will use my satin scrunchies, because it's easier on my hair all right and then i will kind of position the twists to where i like them: okay, everyone's looking all right. Okay, you can wear your twist in a ponytail or you can put it in a bun. This trick will work for your for, like whatever length you're at and so what i'll do is i'll. Take a rubber band or a small scrunchie. I just don't have any small scrunchies. I will take a rubber band i'll, just kind of line, all the hair up tuck in anything and then i'm putting the rubber band on my ends. Okay, all right and then you just tuck it in and then you have a bun and when i'm doing the bun i like to use these open hair pins just because they're they're longer i'll just come up where the like the mermaid is. I just stick it in see. That was just one pin and it's stained and then i'll just take a wrecked, you know, pin other pins and i'll just get the um perimeter all right, and so that is the first hairstyle which you can do also is you can just have a twist down Kind of gives you a little pizzazz or whatever okay. Another way i like to style. My hair is, i might just like, keep half the twist down and pin the rest up, and so i just take the hair and i just kind of position it where i want it to be, and i just take one of these clips and just kind of Put it in my in place um and then what typically happens is i look and i'm like hmm, i want both sides pinned up and so i'll take the twist that i want to go up and then i would just pin that up like that and then, If you don't like the hair sticking out, you can always just tuck it in or you can pin them down or you can make sure that it's up under the clips, but i kind of like the hair sticking out. Okay, all right! So that's another style that i really like to do and, of course i will use two black clips and you can also do that with hair pins. I just find that it's so much faster if i just use eclipse i'll even use those little crocodile ones too. Those kind of look a little better, but i don't care who's inside the back of my head and then, of course you can do like a mid ponytail. My go-to is the low bun, and so i'm going to show you how i do that, but then also how i get it to look a little more polished, okay and so i'll do like what i showed you before i'll make sure everything is together. I might twist this a little bit, so it could be flatter. You want your ponytail to be as low as possible. I find that that looks the best when it's really low and then i'm going to pin this because i don't want it in my face um, but i didn't want to just straight up in the ponytail, and so i just take it and i put my hand Here just kind of get it to like bend, and then i kind of i figure out where i want the twists to lay how i want them to lay. So if i want them like that or like that, you know you just kind of play around with it to see like how you want them and then i'm going to use the bobby pins just to pin that in place. And it's going to take a little more than just that one pinnace right because you can see the front is just hanging okay, and so i just take this and i place it where i want it to be. Okay, i'm satisfied with that boom. All right got my little got my little shroom to do right now. For my little bun, you can do the bun that way where you just kind of like spread it like you would a regular bun, but it's really hard to get the small rubber band over this, like big little flower looking bun and so just take a black Scrunchie and just wrap it around and then the pieces that are sticking out you can literally just like swing just tuck them in and then once your bun is in place, then you can decide what you want to do with it. So for me, i feel like this is kind of sticking out a little bit, and so i'm thinking i might just pin it down, and so what i do is i just take my hand and i flatten it like that and then i'll take my open hair Pins and i'll just kind of tuck it in, and that way it's not like sticking out as much and if i don't like how my hair is hanging i'll, take one of the open, hair, pins and i'll just shove, it i'll just like shove it somewhere. So it's gon na stay alright and then now that the bun is to my liking, so i got some water on my hands and i'm just gon na like put the water on the pieces that look frizzy. It'S really just the perimeter like my edges, that look frizzy, because apparently i sleep like a wild child and so the water may reactivate the product that is already there, but we're not going to stop. There see the difference just from adding the water there's difference, but that's not going to last, and so i'm just going to take a little bit of the cream and i'm just going to put it together and then i'm just gon na put it all over. And you can also do this before you put your hair, like in the ponytail and stuff like that, and you can use edge control to lay your hair down. However, because i'm planning to do a twist out, i don't want the front of my hair to get caked up with stuff and that's why i usually just use the cream because we're not i'm not going for a swoop to do. I'M just going for like polished and not so frizzy um, but it doesn't have to be super like laden slayed. If that makes sense all right and then once i'm done, i take my scarf. I typically have to keep my scarf on for at least 10 minutes. Just so my hair can set the product i put on it could dry. I didn't put that much product on, but that's what i'm working with. So i'm going to leave this on for a little while and come back and show you what my hair was looking like, so see you soon all right and i am back and i am dressed. Okay, let's see what this hair is. Looking like it's like dang, my widow's peak, let's, let's uh help that out - and this is one of my favorite ways to wear my hair. Everything is tucked away nice and protected. However, it's still cute, you know, and i think the side part really helps to kind of shush it up. Okay, i do wear my hair in a middle part, sometimes um, but you know i just like the side part, mostly when i'm doing the bun. I hope this helped you guys get a little more comfortable with the idea of wearing a twist out now, if you're not into like wearing your twists out in public. I understand right. This is cute to me, but you know, maybe you don't like it for yourself. So you might as well just go ahead. Take a twist out boom. All right - and this is the final look um when i'm at work. I don't want my hair in my face. Okay, i just took most of the twists out. I pinned the sides up. Do a little funky thing with the front and voila just a nice and simple half up half down situation and i'm ready for whatever all right. I'M going to your wedding, i'm going to work, i'm going to church and i'm going to walgreens to go. Get my products some things i wanted to note one. I typically will air dry most of the times. I'M doing these wash days on like the morning before i go to work. Okay, i wake up really early wash my hair. Do what i got to do leave my scarf on, as i maybe do some work and air dry a bit and then i go to work. If it's the summer, i will typically just air dry the entire time. I find that my twists don't get as frizzy when they're able to air dry all by themselves. But if it's late at night, when i'm washing my hair, then i will go under my hooded dryer or if it's cold outside, i will go under the dryer. Just to make sure that you know my ends and stuff are not soaking wet. Now, if i'm doing like a fluffy twist out, then i would typically do that the morning of let the twist set for like a good two hours, and i will use the four in one hydrating cream for that. Okay - and i can insert a picture of how i look in the same fit with me doing a um stretch twist out with the cream, i mean it was giving okay, it was giving you know, but whether it's big hair or super defined hair. I love using tray, looks products on my head. Okay, make sure you check out their sale at walgreens. It ends june 26th. Let me tell you something like i said before: the things sell out quick, and so you want to make sure that you just do your little store, pick up roll up on your walgreens and see what they have in store and get your blessing. As you probably already know, this is my favorite combination of treluxe products. I love using the leave-in with the cream and the serum. I think they work really well together and they give me very shiny and defined and still like voluminous voluminous, i got volume. I got volume, you know, i just love how it makes my hair look and it makes my hair feel, as i mentioned in my first impressions when you you're feeling the twist. Sometimes it's kind of like is my hair will be dry uh, but once you unravel the twist, it just opens up a world of moisture and softness, and just it feels my hair feels really good. I would say, if you're looking to buy one thing that you should try to leave in, i think that it's a really versatile leave-in and if you're wanting to skip a step in your wash day, it's perfect right, deep condition and leave it at the same time. Like for me, i am a sucker for a multi-use product, but you need them all. You need them all. Now, in my last trailer video, i did use the high definition gel and my hair was very, very defined. Okay, this gel does have a learning curve, so make sure you check that video out for my tips on how to use it, but it is a very good and crispy gel, but that is all i have for this video. I kind of wanted to show you guys how i merge the curls with the cpa each day, because i probably spend most of my time at work. Okay, but i hope you guys enjoyed this demo type of video. I absolutely love how versatile a twist out is. I can wear the twists as a style i could wear twist and twist out at the same time, and if i'm feeling fancy, i can wear the twist all the way out. Yes, listen! It'S giving versatility it's giving diversity. Okay, guys! I love just being able to customize my style based on how i'm feeling and yes, the curls, are invited into the board rooms and the meetings in the zoom room. All right and the beautiful thing about doing flat twists in the front and making sure that my parts are straight. Let me show you: it's super easy to just switch it up right so take that down maybe take some of the hair from over there and it's putting down a little something different or you could. Even you could do a regular little side. Part right, that's cute or chat, i could even get away with a middle part. All you have to do is make sure you have a pick right and you just pick your root so that it can match the same energy of the other side and look at come on. This is actually really cute all right. Let'S bring up dude sable back, but that is all i have for you guys. Today i got ta get about this hot bathroom. I got all mad clothes. Make sure you check out the links down in the description box.
