Get Ready With Me For Friends-Giving Dinner Ft. Hairvivi

Hi everyone welcome to my channel 10 ways to wear it, i'm alicia and on this channel i take one fashion, item or one fashion trend and show you guys 10 different ways to wear it. Now in today's video i am bringing you a get ready with me. I am going to be hosting friendsgiving dinner along with my best friend, and i thought it would be a great time to film, for you guys and show you how i got this look together. Today'S video is in collaboration with hairv.com. They sent me their gorgeous kylie bob wig. This is a fake scalp wig and when i tell y'all this is the best beginner friendly wig, you will ever come across girl. The hairline arrived so snatched i didn't have to do any plucking girl. I didn't have to do no methods: okay, no ball cap method; no none of them other methods. Okay, i got it on in like 15 minutes and i am in love. So, if you're interested in seeing how i got this wig look together, my makeup and the outfit i'm going to be wearing as well as coming along with me to the event you're going to love today's video, because i got to take y'all. Of course it's going to be real nice, it's going to be grown. It'S going to be sexy y'all. I got to show y'all what's poppin, so, if you're interested in seeing what i came up with today, stay tuned for this video all right, you guys so before we get into the install. I want to tell you a little bit about this wig. It is so bomb. This is a 10 inch lace front bob wig, but it is their kylie fake, scalp wig. So this wig is so easy for lazy, chicks. Like me when it comes to these wigs. This is the perfect wig to apply and you can personalize everything from the style of it. You can do a middle part or a side part. You can specify that when you order the wig, you can also specify the color of your fake scalp. You can specify the size of the cap, so i love that you can personalize everything to really make this a wig. That'S perfect for your head! So that's the first thing that got me because i'm not about it when it comes to this wig life, like about all this application and the in the ball cap method and um, no boo. No! So for lazy, chicks! Like me, this wig is absolutely perfect and i want to show it to you all real quick before i apply it. It did come in this gorgeous black box. It almost looks like a christmas gift, and it's just so nice. They also sent me a few little extra things with the wig, so i did look in here. Y'All know i peeked a little bit but girl she bad. She is bad, but yeah. It comes in this box and here's how they package it up for you and everything nice little satin bag to store the wig in love that, because i'm always looking for somewhere to put my wigs. But here is the wig straight out of the pack and, like i said, i did check it out and when i tell you this wig is perfectly pre-bleached. It is so nice. Do you guys see the bleaching on that, as well as the pre-plucked edges girl? The edges are snatched they snatch for real for real okay. I know i am not about to have to do much to this wig and i'm so happy about that. But it is a 10 inch bob, like i said, it's 160 density, really good density for a natural look, because you don't want something too bulky and too crazy looking. It is in a natural color, which i also like, because it's not too stark. As far as the blackness, it is like a really natural color, but you can also dye it. It'S 100 human hair - and i love the texture as well. It'S silky, but it doesn't have that like extra extra mirror like shine on it, that some of the wigs have so i love that i won't have to use my dry shampoo on this one, and i know it's going to flat iron so well, and it doesn't Have a lot of flyaways: if you see the top, you notice that it doesn't have a lot of little pieces sticking up and i hate that when wigs come like that and you have to use a ton of hairspray but yeah. If you look on the inside, you can see the fake scalp. I ordered mine in the color mocha, because i'm dark skinned and my scalp is a little bit darker. So i did order color mocha and, as you can see, you see the fake scalp and then you can see where a little bit of hair extends past it. So, of course, you can customize all of that once you get it onto your head, so i'm going to see what it looks like on me. First, i'm going to go ahead and apply it now, just to see how it looks and how it fits this wig. Also has an adjustable cap inside so you can definitely tighten it to fit your head. The way you want to it has the piano keys adjustable strap. So it's not just a strap. It has like, where you can hook it and adjust it and i'll show that to you all. But if you see that hairline girl - oh my goodness, oh no, i look crazy, but i'm in love with this wig. But let me just show you the inside, so you can see how the elastic band is in there. So, like i was saying it has the piano key little adjustable strap. So you can just take this out and kind of just adjust it into one of those slots almost like a bra. So i really like that and you can also adjust it from the actual strap right there to tighten. It makes it even better when you're trying to apply it just to keep it hassle free, you don't even have to use glue or spray with this wig, as you can see, that hairline is snatched enough that you can just pop this on your head. Tighten it up and go, but i am going to be using a little bit of spray for my application, i'm going to be using the bed head hard head spray. I like this one, a lot better than the goth to be glue. It really does keep the wig on my head for up to a week, so i'm going to be using that for my application. But let me go ahead and go off camera. I'M going to grab my wig cap, i'm going to grab a few other things. My scissors and so forth, so i can cut this lace and we're going to get into this install alrighty. So i went ahead and grabbed my scissors and a few other things and i'm ready to get into this install first. I want to share the few other things that they did send me with the wig they sent me. This fly away, tamer, it's so nice. It almost looks like it's in a mascara jar, so love that and that's going to help with any little fly ways, but i didn't really see any on the wig. They also sent an edge brush. It'S like the combo comb and brush. They also sent two clips. These are going to come in handy during the application and, as i flat ironed the wig, and they also sent this comb so nice. This is going to help me a lot with parting and so forth. When i change up the wig, because i know i always like to change it up and i might just try putting some little braids in the front and whatnot y'all know i'm gon na play around with it. But anyway, let's go ahead and get into this install. I'M gon na start off by cutting off the lace and we're gon na get into it. My thoughts is so unsettling trying to make some sacrifices. Minded hop and wrestling got your friends around you talking crazy hit them heckling got you in your feelings. Now you hit me and you pressing me, had me in the doghouse tied down. I was tethering, not a love song, not another love song. Let'S go to work cause, i'm tripping got ta work on myself, cause i'm falling apart. Please, wake me up myself start to believe in myself and life will be sweet again, so sweet again is hold on alrighty. So it's definitely looking a little bit off as far as my complexion to the complexion of the fake scalp and the wig itself, so i'm just going to go ahead and shape out my baby hairs and really just do my best to kind of cover that. So i'm going to just use my black panther strong edge control to go ahead and shape out my baby hairs a little bit for all the things myself and life will be sweet again, oh alrighty! So now that i've applied my little ribbon, i'm really hoping that this will help the lace to kind of blend a little bit more along with that sephora micro smoothing powder. But now that i've gone ahead and applied that i'm going to leave that on. For a while, probably about an hour just to really let things settle in while i go ahead and flat iron, the wig, it is looking so nice. I know that the lace around the edge is not an exact match, but you know what it's a middle part and that's what i love about middle parts, because it does kind of cover mostly everything, especially if you flatter on it and really get it close to Your head it'll look super natural regardless, so i'm going to go ahead and start flat, ironing it first i'm going to go in with my hot comb, just to really make sure the scalp is nice and flat to my head and then i'll go ahead and flat Iron it wishing i could searching for something now: clouds i wan na be free, never imagined. I lose my spark living in this crazy time. Putting back the pieces of my mind, i'm i wan na be free alrighty, so now that she is all ironed out. I am loving it. I'M really hoping that putting on this ribbon around my edges, to really like kind of lay them down will help to blend the lace, because the wig itself looks amazing and you want to talk about natural. Looking it's so flat to my head. You don't see any bumps, you don't even see the braids i have under there. It just looks supernatural y'all and in the air of transparency. I do want to say that i did go ahead and cut off about an inch because i don't want it resting on my shoulders. That'S usually when it starts to like flip up and do weird stuff, so i did cut it. I did cut off about an inch toward the front because it is kind of tapered and longer in the front, so i did cut it so that it's a little bit more, even and just a little bit more of like a blunt bob. So now i'm going to go in with this flyaway tamer, real, quick and just kind of tame. The few little fly ways that i do see. It'S not bad at all, but i do see a couple here and they probably came up because of the static from flat ironing and blow drying, but i'm going to go ahead and just brush those down with this flyaway tamer alrighty. So now that that's done, i'm also going to just spray a little bit of my bed head um hard head spray into my hand, just like that and just kind of rub my hands together and just kind of take it across the top of my hair. So that it's not you know just going to be blowing all over the place when i step outside. So i always like to do that when i have on a wig just to kind of tame it a little bit so that it's not going too crazy. So i'm going to spray a little bit more on my hand, just like that and just kind of brush it through just to add a little bit of weight to the hair, not too much just a little bit all right, and that's looking amazing. So now that i got my wig applied, we're going to go ahead and work on this makeup, real, quick and i'm just going to. Let you guys watch me, do my makeup, i'm not even going to talk. I may hold up the products and apply them, but i will have everything that i'm using for my makeup listed in the description and i actually am trying something new today, i'm trying out a luxury foundation and that is the hourglass foundation. Stick. I recently picked it up from sephora, so i will be trying that out, but i will have all of the makeup products that i use listed in the description and i probably will hold them up to the screen so that you all can see them so yeah. Let'S get into this makeup because now she's ready to get cute now i'm drowning myself myself, i told you every single time. Don'T you worry, you would always call me at the wrong time. So you could know what i was up to. Oh, don't you get that it's just stupid? I don't wan na feel so lonely tonight, it's crazy! Every single and i can't believe i don't wan na feel so lonely tonight. Every time we spend time i wan na do this um, but you only make it worse. Still, it's not enough alrighty guys. So here is the completed makeup look and i really like it. I was going for something sort of natural. I wanted my eyes to be a little bit dramatic, but i wanted the rest to be kind of natural and i have to tell you i am in love with that hourglass foundation. It just went on so smoothly. It covered everything and yeah. I think i'm hooked. Damn why did i have to get hooked on an expensive foundation? I'M just kidding but yeah time for the time to make the big reveal on this hair um i'm a little nervous, but we're gon na see what it's looking like. I'Ve had it tied down for a while and um okay, okay, okay, a little crusty on the edges, but um. The wig itself is so pretty and so natural looking um i'm beyond impressed. You guys i'm gon na come in, so you can see it up. Close. Definitely could fix my baby hairs a little bit and i do see a little bit of whiteness from my hair spray, but that's fixable. You know, that's not even anything to fuss about what i care about is the fact that i didn't have to spend an hour. Plucking, i didn't have to do all the ball cap method in this method. In that method girl. I just put this wig on and i do have on a black wig cap under there and, as you can see you can't tell at all. All you see is the thick scalp and it just looks so natural and i'm loving how flat this wig is, laying it is so flat. I am going to knock out these little crimps in here that my um scarf made. So i'm going to come back to you guys in my outro and show you my outfit and show you the finished product on the hair and everything so give me a few minutes alrighty. So here is my outfit of the day and i decided to wear something that is representative of me. I wanted to wear something comfortable cute, but also that represents my edginess y'all know how i roll so i threw on this plaid maxi shirt from fashion nova. I also threw all my camo joggers from fashion nova and these cute chunky booties those are from boohoo. You all have seen this look before you saw it. If you follow me on instagram, you also might have seen it on my community tab on youtube, but yeah really cute outfit. I also threw on my anime being leather moto jacket and some nice gold, earrings and gold accessories and whatnot y'all know we got ta, keep it popping for my scent today. I am wearing burberry brick for her. This is such a good fall scent. It'S very warm! It'S very sexy and it's also sort of loud and i wanted something that really stands out. You know i don't spray too much on. I just spray a few parts of my skin, but i really thought this would be a perfect scent because it'll have me smelling good all night. You know i am the host of this event, so i'm gon na be seeing people and mingling and whatnot. So i wanted to be comfortable cute a little bit sexy here we go okay. I hope you all like the look and um. Let'S go because i'm taking y'all with me, you guys are going to see this event. So, let's roll out it's time for us to go so here is our event space, and this is a gorgeous table that erica and my sister just put together, say: hi, erica, a beautiful friend, it's so nice and so fall-ish. Oh, my goodness, we are ready for our guests, be our guest, be our guest, so nice, hey y'all, so just quick check in we don't have any guests here yet um they don't arrive until 6 30, but we're just setting up everything and there's my lovely sister. Let'S say hi to her real quick, even though she's shaking her head, no say hi girl, say: hey girl, hey, say: hey youtube, yeah, she's, gon na, say hi, but um yeah. So we're getting ready for people to start arriving and um. You know i'll. Definitely do a quick check-in once everybody starts arriving, but then i'll have to be play host.
