How To Make & Install A Plaited Bob Wig | Turn Your Old Full Lace Wigs Into Braids On The Go

Hey y'all: what's up I'm about to turn this week the same exact, curly wig I installed a few weeks ago. I'M gon na turn this week into a short bob, claret wig. So if you want to see the results, stay tuned first things. First you're gon na of course put the wig on the dome head. Then you're gon na take out the baby hairs. I'M gon na do it as a middle part, so I just parted it and spring some water on it, and then I'm gon na get some styling gel and put that on there as well the key to a plat it wig. In my opinion, this is just something that I do you know if you're comfortable, without doing this step you don't have to, but to me I feel like it's very necessary for you to put the rubber bands on it and then plat it, because this is not A human's head: it's not gon na look the same, the textures don't match, so I just feel that it's best to just use the rubber band method and plat it just like that. I'Ve tried it before without using the rubber bands and it made them the plats. You know, look like they weren't, even a part of the week like they could easily slip off being that this is a blunt cut. Well, it's gon na appear to be a blunt cut. Plat. It wig, of course, you're gon na burn the ends be careful as you're burning the ends, because this hair gets really really hot, so you're gon na have to play around with it. You know this is a really really old-school method, but it's necessary for this style. Now you're gon na proceed with putting ponytails around the whole rest of the wig and just continue to plat flat flat. Oh finally, I am finished my fingers then got burnt doll up and everything, but now we're gon na go ahead and create the baby hairs. I like dramatic baby hairs, especially with you know, a braided leg. You don't have to have as many as I have you know, do whatever is comfortable for you. I just really like the dramatic look, especially with this style. [ Applause, ], [ Applause. ], welcome. Welcome. I just wanted in light, so when I see this today, we'll show you guys, you know how I you know, make ready and it's really really simple. As you all know, this wig doesn't have the banding needs in the back anymore and it doesn't have the clips in it anymore, because I dissect this week, so I can show you guys how to do the high ponytail. But if this wig did have the clips in the back, all you would have to do was just you know, tighten the wig with the band and then just stick this Clips underneath your braid. So if you have a full lace, wig that has the band and the clips in it just keep those in there and you're gon na go ahead and just you know, use those to keep your braid, your braids 8-week down and I'm gon na go ahead and Just start to comb the baby hairs out and I'm gon na pluck them a little bit because it's really too much of them. They look too thick, so I'm just gon na send them out, and that's really it's like the wig installed is complete. I'M sitting here pulling on a platter on to make them longer. The only thing I wish I would have done was made the plaque longer. I thought they were gon na, be you know longer at least touching my shoulders. You know the bottom of my neck, but I didn't do them that long, but this style is, you know, really really cute to me the next time I do it. Of course I will make the flats longer other than that.
