Hey guys, I am here with a brand new wig and I've tried some different things with my videos. So when I get a new wig, if I can I'm going to try to film me putting it on out of the box cuz I'd like for you guys to see what a wig can look like out of the box and how I react to that. And what my plan is to deal with it, because this is the biggest problem we have as wig sisters when we get wigs and they don't look like we expect. If we're new enough at this we're lost, we don't know what to do. If should I send it back, is it defective? This doesn't look like I expected, so I'm gon na start trying to give you guys the whole picture in a video versus you know I'll come on with a wig that I might have already gotten wet and scrunched and all of those things I'm not saying I Will never do that again, but as I can I'm going to try to do these splice together, videos where you get an out-of-the-box look and then you get after I've messed with their look. So this I'm really excited about you guys. So those of you who know me know I love love. Girl motto by Ellen Villa absolutely love her. She was my first wig that worked for me and I have since owned her in six colors. I still owe actually a six color comparison on that one, but I had an opportunity to purchase Ellen Villa turn brand new for the changes collection. I'Ve never had a chance like this. I did purchase it, but I was able to get it at a really good discount and I'm so excited because I would never have bought this without that discount, because there's only one review out there right now. As I'm filming this I've only seen Taz do a review, and, while I loved has reviews wig buying is a risk for us, it's expensive and I hesitate to purchase ways that I can't see. Reviews on, I want to see it on multiple people. Multiple face shapes multiple heads, multiple, you know, coloring, I mean everything, and so I'm really excited cuz that well they did pay for it. The risk for me was lowered because I got a good discount so anyway, that's my disclaimer, here's, my Ellen there's. This is a cool tag too. I'Ve never seen a tag like this from them, so this is the color chocolate mix and that the number on that is 6.30 and once again, thank you so much Ellen Villa for putting your color codes on your tags. Please wig manufacturers give us something to work with with these colors they can be so difficult hold on guys. I'Ve got ta. My dad was calling me. I had to decline his call, but this is gon na be quick, anon calling back okay. So here we go. I haven't put this on yet I just pull it out of the box. I wanted to see it with you guys. Oh my oh she's, so cute, I'm serious you guys these curls. This is girl. Mine, I'm shorter totally. This is a shorter version of girl model. A lot shorter version, a girl model, look at that. Oh my gosh. She is so adorable, I'm looking in the mirror behind a camel myself. It'S really cute. Okay, I'm not gon na need to do a whole lot with this one. This wizard, this one came really great out of the box, so this so turn has a lace, front and Ellenville lace front. I'M always pleased with their lace fronts and this one's good too. She has a mono part, a left side model part and just these super cute curls look at those curls, that's out of the box adorable. Let me get my mirror, so I can see the back. Oh look at that. I really like this. Okay, I'm pleased. Okay, so I'm going to pause the video or stop the video and I'm going to just mess around with her, and you know see if there's anything I want to do. Do I want to spray her down. Am i totally happy with her the way she looks and then I'll come back and I'll? Tell you what I think, but this is out of the box. This is one of those great great situations where you get a wig out of the box and it actually looks like you expect it to look, and so that's just a happy happy situation, and that does happen. It just doesn't always happen. Um. Let me just grab a clip here. I just want to play now: cuz, I'm so thrilled. I mean this place friends gon na. Let me do some fun clipping it off the face. Oh there's so much and I haven't had this color from Ellen Villa before I have chocolate rooted, but I haven't had this chocolate mixed and I really like it it's this warm warm chocolatey brown and then it's got these highlights so it's 6:30. So the brown is the sixth that's kind of a medium dark brown and the thirty is an Auburn, and you can just see that Auburn. Oh, it's so pretty, alright, guys I'll be back and we'll talk more about turn. Hey guys. I am back okay. So it's a couple of days later, since I filmed the out of the box and since then I sprayed her with water very lightly. I didn't really slow her down, because I really liked the curl ad that came out of the box. I sprayed her with water. A little bit I scrunched her a little bit and I hung her upside down and she was hanging upside down for the couple of days and then this morning I stuck her on a wig head for the day. While I was at work just to let her settle and right now right before our as I was getting ready to turn the video on, I took a little piece out cream just a little bit very little and I kind of more messed with this part of Her than anything so so the curl you see here is really for the most part out of the box. Such little was done to her just a little bit of water. I didn't soak her. I didn't drench her and a tiny, tiny bit of peace out cream kind of like right here so unbelievable. I love this wig. I am so happy, so let me just give you guys a good look. So again. This is in the color chocolate mix, which is 6.30 so pretty, and what I want to do is I want to show you girl, mono with this one, so that you can see how I really believe this is just a shorter version of girl mono. So if you are a girl, mono fan, maybe you have girl mono and you wanted to get a shorter version that you might be able to switch up. Maybe in the summer you might want to go a little shorter and all it will look like is you got your hair cut if you're really trying to maintain anonymity with your wig wearing? I really think you could pull it off and I think this chocolate mix is incredibly incredibly similar to chocolate rooted. Chocolate rooted is 6.34, so it's really the same color. It just has a for root, whereas this one doesn't really have a darker root. This one kind of does maybe us to be able to see it when it's on, it's really not noticeable, so I think they look really similar so anyway. So this is, you can see it's a very, very short bob, so the length goes about here at me. Kind of my jawline and my measurements from here to here are 8 inches. So if you have a 7 inch measurement, this might go almost down to your chin. So just think about that with you, how your face measures - and I always have my measurements in the description box. So you can take a look at how my measurements suck up to yours and get a sense of how it's going to work for you from here. To here is four and a half inches, I think, and so the bangs are roughly four and a half inches or so, but just so cute and she's so fun I mean you can really. If you wanted to put more product in her and really scrunch this one up and make her wild, you totally could she doesn't really have permit ease so you're, not gon na get a lot more kind of lifter volume, but putting some product in, I think, she'll Hold that really well, because she's short enough that she doesn't really have wait to pull those curls down something I want to mention. While I got you guys here is. I have heard people say that girl, mono has permittees and I've been saying girl, mono doesn't have permittees, so I want to clear something up with that. There are different kinds of permit ease. There are there's the nasty pillowy permit ease that is like poofy, sometimes on the crown. Sometimes you get it. My my Shaina by trestle water has a lot of perfect ease. Hollywood by main attraction, very poofy permit ease. Then there's um like kind of little crimped fibers at the end of where the fibers are tied in and if anything, that's the kind of permit ease. Do you see that that girl mono has just a little bit of crimped fibers right on the wedding? I mean you can see it's not if heavy permit ease at all, so I may be technically girl mono has permit ease. I would not consider this permit ease as most of us think of it it's more because she's a curly style, it just gives it a little lift off the cap, but it doesn't give it any pouf if that makes sense, so I thought they need to clear That up, because I've seen that a few times and I always say core Amano - doesn't have her thirties. So did you get a good look at this one cuz, I'm gon na switch him and then I'll show you the cat, oh, and I do want to show you the that hair line so good, so good. I really like how, in Villa hair lines, I have not had any issues with them, and so the beautiful thing is you're gon na be able to clip her up. You'Re just gon na have some different styling options with her. So that's that's gon na be awesome. Alright, let me switch it up for you when I get warm, my nose gets runny. So you'll start to hear me later on, and video is kind of sniffling, because I always get hot making these videos, when it's winter I'll, be able to open my bathroom window and make it cold in here. Okay. So this is a brand new girl mono that I've not worn yet. So she is this one's literally out of the box. I'M gon na need to do some things with her. She'S got some cold crimping going on right here. I think I hope not because I don't know, but oh so she's she's a little, not perfect, because she's my backup and I have not worn this one yet. But can you see why I say that turn is just a shorter version of girl mono the curl pattern is really really similar. The color is really really similar. She'S, just Qinling she's, just longer she's below chin length. Actually, so if you like girl mono and you could go shorter, I'm I'm recommending turn. I really am. I also think turns cap is a little bigger. It feels bigger. It doesn't feel this is tight on my head. I think the caps a little bigger - and I thought I heard in tat this video, which is the only review I've seen on turn so far - that she felt the cap was a little structure, bigger so average average girls, maybe in Ellenville away so anyway. This has been turned. I haven't worn turn yet, except for this review, so I will be back once I warned her. I'M actually gon na wear her now, but once I warn her a few times, they'll come back and I'll. Let you know what I'm thinking and how she's doing so again. There aren't a lot of videos out there about turn yet and - and I understand the Radisson of ordering waves until you can see a lot of reviews. So all I can tell you is that I wholeheartedly recommend this wave based on the one that I have and if you already know you like girl mono, and you know you can do something shorter, don't hesitate if you get. If you can find yourself a good deal on turn snapper up thanks for watching you guys, I hope you have a good one, hey guys. I want to give you a look at turn in some different lights. I always forget to do that and mention it at the in the videos, but the other thing I realized I didn't mention was that this one does have a lace part, and I did talk about the lace front or a mono part a left side mount apart. Just like girl mono, I just forgot to mention that so let's look at it outside open my door here, so you can see this chocolate mix and outside light, such a pretty color. It'S got the 30 running through it, which is an Auburn and it's such a beautiful, chocolatey color. So the mono part is a bit dense. So if you wanted it to show through you're gon na have to do some work, but I think it looks fine. So there you go outside, look at chocolate mix and another thing I thought of after I stopped the video. I don't have the best face for this length. I have a very round face and it's a bit on the long side. So I don't know how flattering this is on me versus someone with maybe a thinner face or a more petite face, I'm still gon na wear it and I'm still gon na love it, but keep those things in mind. When you see these videos, I don't know if I'm the best model for this one, but I still love it, and I and I don't care, but if you're looking at it wondering how it would look on you consider your face, shape as it relates to mine. Anyway, thanks for watching guys,

Kim Sloan - formerly Cusick: You are my favorite wig reviewer, by far. Never a performance, always authentic and honest. Thank you for continuing to make these.

ms willard: You look so pretty in both wigs. Thanks for talking about “out of the box” because I am new and have already sent two back because of the look! Hopefully my next one will work! You’re great, thanks!

Becky C.: Denise, this out of the box idea is so brilliant! I remember the first time I pulled a wig from the box and tried it on and I was so lost. I wasn’t even sure I was putting it on my head correctly. I didn’t even know that YouTube had wig help. Thanks so much for this!

GammieUp: Denise, this does suit your face. It looks fabulous on you. This was a great review.

Eileen Davinroy: So cute on you Denise! Loved seeing it right out of the box! Great review

Ann Rayer: Your videos are so GREAT Denise! I have to wear wigs ALL the time due to alopecia similar to your's, but worse. I bought Turn when on sale at WigStudio1 a few weeks ago and just recently received it in Champagne R. I expected it to be more A-line than it is after seeing only Taz's review. The shape of the head, not just the face, makes a big difference in how the hair lays. On me it much more like it is on you.......a somewhat short curly bob maybe just a tiny bit longer at the front sides and not as stacked in the back as it appeared to be on her. I will trim it up slightly at the back to make it more A-line which I suits me better. You’re right, the front lace is wonderful, as Ellen Wille wigs usually are :) I bought two and have only worn one which isn't quite as curly as your's, but given the variances in these wigs, I'm not surprised. Again, love your down to earth videos!

Sonia J: Turn is sooo cute!! I love my Girl Mono. This is definitely a cute shorter look!!

Joannie Barnett: Oh my. Gosh this is beautiful! Have not gotten a look at anything close to how I loved wearing this style when I had hair. So excited to order this. Brand new to full time wearing. By the way , they are both are perfect on you! I love it thank you for reviewing these wigs. Now have more confidence to buy

Bren13: Wow - out of the box it was already perfect! Great style. Like I've said before, if they start making more non-rooted blonde colors, I will become an Ellen Wille customer. They have them in certain styles, but not the current releases. I'd love to try Turn and Girl Mono and a few more from the Changes collection.

lil poohbear: Looks great on you. I own 2 of these Turn wigs and they are fantastic!

Susan Buckley: That looks wonderful on you! I’ve been looking for a shorter curly wig and this is it! I don’t look good in long hair at all. Now off to find it on sale!

Brenda Simmons: I just got my Turn! Thanks to your wonderful review!

Vicky White: Oh Denise, I can’t wait to order her. So cute.

LD: Adorable on you! Enjoyable watching your review, happy outcome and they are true sister wigs

Julie Gilley Bowden: Aw Denise this style and length look fabulous on you! This is so close to how I wore my bio hair I am going to give it a try! Thanks for your great review!

Kim S.: The shorter curlier style looks great on you Denise and I think it looks a little caramel too

Pamela Prescott: Denise you're like my sweet beautiful Taz,she looks great in anything. You look good in the short one also with your little round face Lol!! also don't let anyone tell you any different. you give such great advice and explain everything. Thank you so much for sharing have a wonderful weekend. Hugs Pamela

Clara: Thanks so much for this review Denise omg I adore the colour! I love an unboxing it really shows us what to expect

Geri Weyer: Thank You Denise. I'll be ordering a ''Turn''. FYI: You wear blonde highlights well.

Kathy Redline: You look Beautiful in both wigs. It just took me some time to get use to seeing you in a different length. But the longer I watched the more I loved them on you. Thank you. You are a blessing.

Danielle McDonald: I just found Turn in Bernstein rooted on clearance and grabbed her. I'm so excited! It's funny, not that long ago I never would have worn curls. Then I fell in love with girl mono. I know I'm going to love Turn and I'm keeping my eyes open for Movie Star. Thanks again for all your reviews! You're my favorite!!!

Tina Schneider: Hi Denise I bought turn about 2 weeks ago I love it I watched your review and Taz review and just purchased mono girl love your reviews and thank you so much for hep how to help with the curl

Geri Weyer: I bought Turn , caramel rooted after Taz's review, I also Love it Right out of the box. I agree with you about girl mono. Turn looks really sweet on you. Thank You for the review.

Melanie Simpson: Sooo cute!!! I just ordered her...Thanks for the review!!! xoxo

Tina Lauderman: Thanks for showing the color in the different light at the end of the video you always give so much detail and I really appreciate that so much you're awesome!

msladyfishjg: thanks so much for this review. I have been eyeing Turn for a bit but only had one review to go by, as you stated. Now, I am sure I want her!! You look fantastic in her!

Belinda Fairclough: Thankyou so much Denise for all that you share with your videos. I am new to this wig journey, with lots of trial and error to negotiate. Previously, I have purchased Violet, Shayna and Sweet Talk, but found all just too overwhelming for my features. I was on-the-fence about Turn until I watched this video, so much so, that straight after watching your video on Ellen Wille's "Turn" in Chocolate Mix, that I went and ordered that exact one So fingers crossed, that this will be more suited for my face. Thankyou once again for taking the time to share your journey. from Australia

Sandi Newton: I learned something new recently, the same wig can have different curl or wave patterns if the color is different. There’s ladies who try on the same wig, but different colors, the switch out the wigs, so you can see how wigs look different in different face shapes and skin tone.

loveea other: soooooooo beautiful and love the color and it really becomes you Well I am sold That will be the next wig for me Great color for fall and winter too

Vicki Meldrum Wigging & Knitting: Great video! Big Girl Mono fan and this is just as cute!

Anita Rushlow: Girl Mono is absolutely Gorgeous on you Denise!!! Great vid!

Bonnie Bailey: I love Turn! I have her in 2 colors ❤️

Connie Sixel: I just purchased Turn in Chocolate mix from a wig sister who had tried on by did not like, so I too got a fantastic deal. Should have her this week. I have Turn in Caramel Rooted and I love her. More that Girl Mono partly because she is a bit shorter. Fantastic Review Denise. I like the video before and after alot.

Elissa Edwards: I just got her from CysterWigs - in light Bernstein rooted. She is adorable !!! I loved her right out of the box. I wanted something shorter and lighter for summer but didn’t want straight , she will be perfect for those afternoons on the golf course.

Sharon Lethbridge: I am so glad I stumbled across this video Denise. I got this wig 2 days ago and I packed her up to return right away. I popped her on and thought oh crap ! Hahah. But I am now going to take back out or the box and give her a go. I am going to try some of your suggestions from another one of your videos “out of the box” because she is pretty flat on the top. Anyways, thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us newbies ❤️

Rita: I like Girl Mono by Ellen Wille and I’ve been thinking about buying Ellen Wille’s Turn. But I also wanted to wait for more videos and reviews about this wig. Thanks for sharing.

Front Porch Wig Chat: She really is a shorter Girl Mono! I love the earrings. It's funny how you and I have almost identical measurements. That's one reason I watch your reviews, other than I just love you! ~Cynthia

Paula Royer: Super cute wig. Thanks for the awesome review.

linda grills: I ordered Turn last night. Love her on you! Also, what lipstick are you wearing? I love it in your videos.

Vicki Cheney: Girl you look great in that. I may have to save and get me one. I have one of Ellen's wigs and very pleased with it.

Frances Lock: That looks super cute on you, great for work.

Dawn Chiaravalli: I just ordered Turn, can't wait to try a curly!

Brenda: You look great in any wig! I just bought a super cute Paula Young wig from Wig.com. It is Deirdre . I got the color 1426 8. It is a rooted, very natural darker blonde/ brown. I love it!

Kathy Herbert: I'm getting ready to purchase my first wig. I wear bangs because I think I look better with them. Love the curls of Girl Mono and Turn...but wonder if it's doable/realistic to have a stylist or wig shop tackle cutting bangs on either of these two wigs. Maybe the fibers wouldn't lend themselves to a natural-look wispy bang? The more I watch, the more I learn. But then...the more questions too.

Carolynn Mathisen: It’s such a joy to see your joy!! She’s beautiful on you

Tracy Lamoreaux: Love the comparison. I just got my girl mono after seeing the super cute curl and your review from a while ago. You are right about how different they can look, mine does not have the cute curlup curls mine are loose and large which is a completely look different from your videos and the website pics. Is there something I can do to kink the curls up a little or should I just return and exchange to see if a different one will be more curly? Thank you for your thoughts and advice, I feel so blessed to have found your videos.

Becky C.: The Ellen Wille I just purchased has a larger cap for sure! My old Echo needs the strap adjusters let all the way out to fit my head but I didn’t even have to change the adjusters in my new Echo.

LouAnn Ordile: I love Girl Mono on you! This Turn reminds me of Meg by Estetica. Meg may be an itsy bit shorter

Red headed Sojourner: Thank you for reviewing this. I am trying ton decide between this and Sweet Talk but in red.

Nancy Burnet: Thank you for styling the new wig. I am new to wigs and am struggling

Gerri W: Great review the wig looks so cute on you. I just bought sweet talk by Gabor , this might be my next one. Do you have sweet talk if so which one do you like out of the two

Bonnie Bailey: Turn doesn’t get the credit she deserves. I’m glad you did this video!

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: Super cute! You’re enthusiasm is contagious, YAY for you! XOXO TAZ

Sunshine Osborne: Goodness that's adorable!! I'm looking for Girl Mono just a tad longer...can't seem to find with same low density and pretty curl pattern. Any suggestions?

Wright On: Have a bunch of wigs but had no idea what to do to make them work . . . this is so helpful. Thank you.

Laurie Ohall - Ohall Kemper Law: Denise, this looks great on you. You mentioned you'd have to do some work if you want the part to show because the mono part is a bit dense. Do you mean plucking the hairs to create more of a part? I have a lot of cheap synthetic wigs that I do this with, but I'm scared to do so to my more expensive wigs. :) Do you ever pluck hairs to create a wider part in the EW wigs? Thanks for your videos. Great content!

D W: I ♥️ your videos! I want this...I have 2 girl monos. Do you think turn has more curls? #greatreview #lovecurls #beautifulinsideandout Please never stop making videos

Emily Rosenzweig: Love the addition of unboxings!

Валерия Горшкова: You are gorgeous! Thank you for your video

MichelleM: Gorgeous!❤

Misty Falco: Gorgeous on you!!!!!

Elaine Remains: soooooo cute!! i went to buy Turn on memorial day, but they only had black left or something, and i needed blonde, so i bought Sweet Talk and I'm pretty worried that i won't like it

twinstar9: What effect on it would there be if you did soak it in water?

Karen's Kloset: Hi Denise can you clarify what the differences between hot mocha and hot chocolate mix I like more of a red Brown tint verse red and gold. I see you have both colors in different reviews but I'm on the fence of which one to choose and I want girl mono or turn thank you for your help

Bonnie Bailey: This looks gorgeous on you! My circumference is 23.5, so probably wouldn’t work for me

Shari Cupit: Thank you!

Robin Abner: Love it but have you ever tried January by JR. I'm interested in that wig.

dorsi7: wow, what a beautiful little wig ..... a big thank you for this video, I love all your videos ... tell me, for color, is chocolate mix of Ellen Wille is darker than R6-28F from Estetica .... I hesitate to order chocolate mix, I'm afraid that this color is too dark .... and I saw a video or you show outside in the light of day, the color F6-28F from Estetica that seems not so dark. Are these two colors comparable or if one is darker than the other ..... again thanks for this excellent video ...

Anita Rushlow: Will this adjust to a 23 inch head? p.s. I hate having such a big head lololo Turn won't work for me since the hairline at my nape goes too far down and it would show :(

D W: Hi Denise, I just tried ordering this in the same shades as my girl monos (chocolate rooted) & cannot find it

Shepherd boy: How do y'all afford to have like 50 wigs! I can't even afford 3. LOL

LouAnn Ordile: What does a mono part mean?

Janet Savona: I like this one on you Its more sassy then Girl Mono

Janet Savona: Did you ever try Malibu Waves by Jaclyn Smith

Debbie Bowers: Denise, is it possible to cut a wispy bang on this wig?

Stephen Carter: Looks like a longer Malibu Waves by Jaclyn Smith .

Annie Taylor: Do you think that’s too young for a 67 year lady?

Rhonda W: I just received this wig today. Does yours have a thick plasticy seam where the part is?

allthatwateris: I just got Turn and it looks nothing like yours. The curls are going in every direction in the front and top like an unmanageable mess and the curl pattern in the front looks nothing like the pattern in the back. I'm afraid to hardly touch it to see if it will be 'fixable' because then I won't be able to return it.

Rosemary Sigur: But, Denise, did you call your dad back?
