Bob, Bobs And More Bobs--Check Out Four Raquel Welch Wigs In Various "Bob" Cuts---Fall 202

Hi, i'm diane and i own red poppy wigs in the kansas city, metro area, i'm on the kansas side in overland park kansas and today i wanted to take just a few minutes to show you a few different bobs in raquel welch and just just compare and Contrast some of the differences now bob's. Interestingly enough, if you're not familiar, go back the official name to the 1920s - and i remember my grandma telling me that and she was born in 20 or 1917 when she was little before she was 20 years old that she had gone in and gotten her hair Cut cut off in a bob, and it was quite the deals quite scandalous it. Women were changing things up going from the long, curly or buns into having these shorter closer to men's haircut. So it's been popular for a long time, different iterations over the years, but basically, when they first started, they could have bangs or no bangs, and the length was all the same around the perimeter probably shorter than this one, and they also did a lot of finger Waves and they were just starting into the permanent waves with solutions that changed the hair um, of course, according to some legends and things, we've seen cleopatra even had a bob. I don't know how we know that for sure, but um it that's how it's reported anyway. So bob's been around forever. Obviously you can do this pretty much your whole life. I'Ve had bob's since i had hair and i actually have my barbie. That has a bob and i got her for my 50th birthday. So bobs are timeless. This particular one is a new style that was required released in the fall of 2021. It'S called let's rendezvous and it's a very traditional bob, no bangs the front pieces are almost the length of the whole entire haircut, there's a little little choppiness going on there, but, as you can see, it's the same length pretty much all the way around just hits Right below the nape, depending on where your hairline is it's it's a great bob. This particular one has a entirely hand, stitched top and temple to temple lace, but i don't i we're not going to get into the the weeds with that today. Um. This color, though, is hazelnut in the 829., so that's raquel, welch it's the rl829, which is a heat friendly color, but there's bulbs in all the different synthetics and all the different lines. But this is just very cute. It'S got a lot of volume, really nice little bob. The next one has been in raquel's line for quite a while. It was probably one of the very one of the first as bob's came have come back around recently and i remember um when i got this wig. Probably i mean close to about 10 years ago now and it's it's a favorite. It'S called straight up with a twist and this one has more layering and stacking in it. So it's not that traditional all one length, but it still gives out an illusion. Now all the specifics and specifications for these styles will be linked below or be i'll write. It all out below, as well as the size of my head. I do today my head's a little on the larger size. My perimeter you'll notice, reads average, but the other measurements are on the larger side. So i have to just try the wigs on to make sure they fit because they're all very different this one again. So it's got a lot, not a lot more layering, but it does have some more layering, especially in through here, though, the the base of the style is just right at chin length, and then it's got a little bit of movement and stacking in the back layering. In the back again, this is a really popular style and it has been over. The years gives you a lot of versatility and this one's very close to my natural hair, color. It oops. I got one my hygiene little piece right there um this one is black coffee in the rl46. So, as you can see, my hair is darker, but this is, i wouldn't go any darker than this wig always wear this protection. This little pantyhose thing to protect yourself and the others who are trying on wigs, so the third, the third one, is also fairly new in raquel welch's line. It'S called sincerely yours and this particular one is again in the heat defiant, um synthetic. It'S got the hand-tied lace, silicone at the crown and well not quite at the crown at the top of the head and then along along the hairline and and um. It does not have silicone otherwise on there. So this one is a bob on the perimeter, but it has more of a long swept over bang. Like i said i will be putting these well, this one is a little smaller. I have to really work it down to get it all the way on. My head, i do like the silicone at the front that helps it stay a little bit more secure, but this one has a shorter, shorter drapey fringe there, but because it has a synthetic, the seed defiant synthetic it can be brushed off um. These are longer on the side, so you've got more of a an angle. These are going to be too long for some people. I'Ve cut these off on some of the some of the folks. It'S just too much right there at the end, but um. If you've got a longer neck, it's certainly certainly doable. Let me check here and see i got, but this one's very cute, too um well, bob's, just star they're, just cute and they're easy to wear this color in the heat friendly heat defiant. The rl colors for raquel welch in the real life is 3231 in the cinnabar, so really great, red color and the fourth and final just this little fast review of these bobs is another newer wig. This one has an it has just the temple, lace, lace, part, but it does have silicone on the wefting in the back, and this color is the rl410ss um ice java, and this wig is called in charge. This caps quite a bit bigger than the last one that i put on it was a lot easier to get on my head. Just you never know. You never know how this stretches. I mean it's just like any other garment on any given day you're, just not going to know to get it out of the box and put it on what it's going to be like there. You know there is quality control absolutely, but there there's different parts and pieces that go into it and there's humans and machines. So this one has more layering again, it's shorter around the front, but with the lace there it gives you a little bit different options. Has the it's more, it isn't angled quite as much has a stacking in the back, but not that long angle, like the last one. We looked at so again, it's closer to my natural hair color. So but it's a it's a very pretty bob. So that is just an excuse me for my little bra strap. That is just a really fast down and dirty just just different ways that bobs can be constructed and different ways that bulbs can be stacked and altered and elevated. To give you just a completely different. Look with different colors um different face shapes can wear different ones, better. Some lend themselves more to bangs than others do. So it's just a great idea to find a salon in your area or a wig shop, or they. This is theirs the specialty and their livelihood. That they know their products and they know their wigs and you can go there and get what you need. The best way that you can um like. I said all four of these fit very different and they're all raquel well to average wigs. So that would be my advice to you as you move forward in your wig journey.
