Longer, more youthful, with a fun vibe. These are NOT your stereotypical granny wigs! As an Over-60 Woman with hairloss from Trich, I can tell you that wigs can give you a ton of great looks!

From long, to medium, to short--there's a great wig for everywoman and at a price to match!

So let's get rid of the notion that all wigs for mature women are gray, with tight pincurls and are super-short. We do not look like Mrs. Santa Claus!

The wig brands in this video are: Estetica Designs; Envy Wigs; Henry Margu; Bobbi Boss; Freetress Equal; LaVivid by Uniwigs; Model Model; TressAllure; Outre; Tony of Beverly; Rene of Paris; ItsAWig.com

I've ordered from the following: Divatress.com; HairsoFlyshop.com; Glamourtress.com; SamsBeauty.com; AceWigs.com; NameBrandWigs.com; BeautyofNY.com; Wilshirewigs.com

Hi everybody I decided to do a slide, show showcasing some of the wigs that I have. I know that a lot of older women or women of the mature demographic have this idea, as do many other people, that women who wear wigs when they're over a certain age just go for the granny wigs. Well, let me tell you something: I'm over 60, and these are not your granny's wigs. I think wigs can give a youthful appearance and I think wigs can change up any look that you have. You can go from long to shorter and medium. You can go from thick and straight to a beautiful center part Bob in a matter of seconds. This is jameson by Aesthetica designs, she's one of my all-time favorites, and this is April by Bobby boss. Wigs didn't excuse me, I think, for an affordable wig. Excuse me she's fabulous. This is storm by model model, one of the first lace front, wigs, I've ever gotten. I now have four, and to this day she remains one of my favorites a lot of times. You have to tweeze the part, but that's okay. This is Alice by l'a vivid wigs from Yoona wigs now we're back into Aesthetica designs. This is thin she's, one of their newest and she's, absolutely gorgeous. There'S a 70s Farrah Fawcett vibe going on here and here I'm wearing Justine by it's a wig calm. The length of this is gorgeous and don't let your age be a detriment when it comes to wearing a longer wig, simply because they look great, whether they're, dark and wavy or straighter. This is another one, my favorite Bob's Swami by free trust, equal now, I'm in China by Bobby boss. There are so many different looks that you can achieve. This is the shortest wig that I have it's Charlotte by trestle aw and look now, I'm back into Justine. Now I'm in Ren, in a lighter color Ren, is by Aesthetica back into Finn, see how many different looks you can just achieve now. Tell me: did these look like your granny's wigs? I don't think so. One day I can have dark hair the next day. I can have hair with a little bit of a caramel kiss and it's all good, not your granny's, wig and then the next day. I can keep the same hue, but go straight with a long bob. I can change twice a day or maybe even three times a day when we were in DC. Last month I took Jameson with me: here's another bob. The looks that you can achieve are fun. This is all part of pro aging, so I hope you enjoyed this little video. I really love all of my looks and I really hope that you enjoyed these looks too there's never a dull moment when you're wearing a wig like never because when you have a wig, you can be many different people. You can wear different wigs for different occasions. This wig Chloe by Envy is what my husband bought me as a birthday gift. I wore Ren in Manhattan over the summer I wear April to the office, and I'm gon na give you a kiss goodbye. Now.

lois123ism: Great video! (You’re really getting good!). Thanks for addressing the concerns of us “mature “women with such candor and big hearted humor!

mattiesful: Kathy, they all look so good on you. I'm 67 and sometimes I feel that people will think I am trying to look 20 if a wear a long, or curly, or thick density wig. (Most time I don't care what people think) but I just don't want to look foolish. U know what I mean? I wear what I like, in all colors, but don't want people to say "look at that old lady trying to look young" lol! BTW, do you know how to put a wig up in a high messy bun? Could u do a video on that? TIA

Michelle Rizzitano: Love them all! They look great!

Something Interesting: Yes I did enjoy this, very much You look fab in each piece from your collection. Bravo! x

Witness This: Thank you ma'am...I'm 51 and started wearing wigs due to medical hair loss. My hair is growing back but i have fallen in love with wearing many so different styles that may never go back to my bio hair.

Amyrosebud: You got that right- I’m so sick of just seeing young people have the cool wigs (most have hair) & us older women are shown in those little “poodle” wigs! ❤️❤️

lorettadot: I love all your wigs I want to buy on after the holidays.

Tonya Moore: Love your confidence and these look great on you. Who cares what others think. It what makes u happy

Holly Kurtz: You look fabulous in all of them! No way are any of them granny wigs!

miettelund84: That was a great color spot light. AND the colors show up so much more clear than your regular youtubes. It was too fast to get all the colors though. I am completely sure now that I want the dark Wren and the Jamison 6 12H now!

Anita Sweeta: Hey gal you go!! You can be whoever u want, and when u want. Hugs Anita

Tela Long: loved this video....i'm 74 and pro-aging on a budget. you look terrific.

AmyOnWigs: Cathe...I completely agree. I was able to gain some youthfulness wearing wigs--in different lengths and colors. I am 54 and feel young inside, so it is a blessing to wear wigs and LOOK younger on the outside. Sure, I still have wrinkles and other aging indicators, but I'm OK with that. HUGS FROM TEXAS!

Carrie Geren Scoggins [Official]: Love the wigs, thanks for sharing.

Joanne Himes: How FUN! Love it!!

Rhonda Hunt: I commented on the dark aging you but I should’ve watched the whole video. Most all look good on you. I think one was very dark and maybe too full but the rest are cute on you!

DeeDee Moore: LOVE THIS VIDEO. I JUST WISH YOU HAD GONE A LITTLE SLOWER AND TOLD THE COLORS. IT SHOWED THE COLORS BETTER THAN ANY REVIEW I HAVE SEEN...AND THERE WERE A COUPLE I REALLY LOVED. DO YOU HAVE ONE IN MIMOSA HD? YOU LOOK GREAT. I AM NOT CRITICIZING JUST WISHING FOR A LITTLE MORE INFO. I ALSO SUBSCRIBED.

Rhonda Hunt: Dark ages you. You look loveliest in light colors. Your images are just too up close so we cannot see the whole style. I did enjoy how different you can look and bit in a wig model. Thank you.

coolcat8b: Just a little comment, if you'll allow me: if you're showing wigs, please show them completely, root to tip. Close ups are important, but so is seeing the overall look.

Juana Vasquez: Sooo Beautiful go girl

Samantha McGovern: Hi. I love your videos, photos, and philosophy. What is the red wig at 0:18?

Barbie Sheffield: Love Love Love!!! What is the name of the gray one on the right just after you say "There's never a dull moment" right at 4:03 minutes in the video? So So So cute on you!!! xoxoxoxo

Gerri W: Hi Cathe can you tell me a little about wren ? I like full hair and I’m not afraid of permatease will Wren be a good fit for me. You look great in Wren. Thanks

Rhonda W.: What wig are you wearing at timestamp 4:40? thank you.

vanessa shaw: Looovvveeee those glasses.

Nadia: This is a VERY valuable and necessary video. You didn't need to show the whole of each wig - your words with the wigs did the trick. Kudos to you!

TheFlawlessCrownSlayer XOXO:

Shirley Drake: Show the wig! The model is cut and all but I need to see the wig, not just the models pretty eyes and smile

Michelle Govea: You are beautiful

Kat Jongeward: I wish the pics were from farther away. all the close ups, not helpful, I want to see it back a bit.

C F: I’m assuming you are the model in most of these photos. Please don’t take this wrong but, you’ve GOT to get rid of those glasses. They’re hideous.

Ambitious Antique: All I see are big glasses
