Hi everyone Aaron here from real wigfun thanks so much for joining me. So I don't know if you've heard but Gabor has just launched a brand new series called their luxury designer series, and I have one of those styles from that collection, and this is called Trend. Alert and I have Trend Alert in shaded ice pumpkin spice, so stay tuned, so I'll be reviewing all four of those brand new styles from Gabor, but perhaps you're not aware, but Raquel Welch, wigs and Gabor are both made from a company called hair. You wear so I was really excited because all of you know how much I love my Raquel Welch wigs and I have worn Gabor Styles in the past, but just to be honest, I hadn't quite found the color shade that best fit me. The great news about a few of these Gabor designer series collection, wigs, is that they're coming in HD fiber, which is Raquel Welch's true to life heat defiant 5 driver, which means you can apply heat to this. So if you wanted to heat style this and make this style straighter or you wanted to add more curls, this type of fiber gives you the option to do so. But the awesome part is is, if you have found Shades in the Raquel Welch lamp of their HD fiber, wigs you're, going to see some of those same colors within this Gabor collection. So, as I mentioned, this style Trend alert is brand new and it is really a full volume Bob with layers that can be styled based on your preference. So perhaps one day you want to add some more volume. You can absolutely get it with this style or you could choose to sort of temper this down and wear it more sleek and lower volume. You can see just how easy it is to transition from lower volume, which is more, my preference versus that high volume, big hair. So if you're a big volume, hair girl, this wig will answer your needs. But if you're somebody that loves to do both and have a hair piece that gives you that flexibility - that's one thing - I am really liking amongst many others about this brand new trend alert. So some of you may be sitting there thinking Aaron. This looks very similar to your Raquel Welch, unfiltered that I have in shaded iced pumpkin spice, which I wear very often. I'Ve brought that wig with me so that we can do a few comparisons and I can show you some of the key differences and similarities between the two, but before we do that, why don't we take a deep dive into Trend alert? So, as I mentioned, it is a synthetic heat defiant, fiber wig, it does have an average size cap, it has a left-handed, monofilament part and then an extended lace that runs into the ear tab, which means the hairline is absolutely gorgeous I'll, get up close so that You can see the hairline on Trend alert, it is absolutely undetectable. In my opinion, the lace is, is really good and the knotting is almost undetectable. Now here are the ear tabs. I'Ve got some good coverage. This is, let me just adjust it a little bit on this side that, under here that's just a little bit of my bio hair, but, as you can see, that lace front runs all the way into the air tab which really gives you Supreme comfort and confidence. Really, if your wig is to blow back in the wind, you are not going to see that lace front on the this piece, so it is incredibly well done. You know I remember first starting out wearing wigs and watching countless reviews and then getting some wigs myself and going hmm that wig doesn't look exactly like it did on whomever I had seen it on and one of the differences that you really want to be aware Of that can make a significant difference on how this wig looks on me versus how it looks on you is both our head circumference and our facial measurements. Okay. So, for that reason I often share with you my facial measurements, so hairline to Chin, I'm seven inches and perhaps, if you're saying well Erin, why does that matter? So, let's say, for example, your face measurements are much longer than mine. Let'S say: they're, eight inches, okay. So Trend alert would look much shorter on you than it does on me. Okay also, my head circumference is 22 inches in circumference okay. So if you have a much smaller head circumference than my self, then perhaps this wig might look a touch longer on you than it does on me, even if we have the same facial measurements from hairline to Chin. I hope that doesn't confuse you, but I do hope it gives you some information, because navigating and purchasing Wigs Online can be challenging. So I'm here to help answer some of those questions and give you as much information to help you make your buying decision with. All of that said why don't we go over the the measurements on the different portions of this wig? Okay, so these front sections here they are seven and a half inches. So if I'm to pull this straight down, that makes absolute sense. Given that my face is seven inches from hairline to Chin right and then the crown which is this portion here down is nine and a half inches. The nape is quite short at two and a half inches, which is really nice, because what that means? It'S going to stay off your neck, so if you're, somebody that runs hot a lot of the time having that hair off off of your neck will feel really good. The second thing that reason why I really love a short nap is: it's less friction points against your clothes, so for those of you that are new to wearing wigs that friction between your clothing, your shoulders, your your neck can cause friction with the fibers, which will Eventually, down the road be a contributor to those fibers starting to break down so the side, measurements are five and a half and then the back is seven inches and then all together, this wig weighs 3.5 ounces, which makes it a really light and comfortable cap. So that you can wear this wig all day long with it feeling good and comfortable, so I'm going to do a turn so that you can see Trend alert from all sides. So I've already shown you the hairline, I would say, as I mentioned earlier, it can be a full body wig if you wanted it to be. If you really wanted to Puff this up and get some volume, you could get your hairs, hair fingers sorry into those fibers and puff that up. I personally, like a more streamlined flatter look, so I'm just going to tap it down a little bit and the density is good enough that I think it looks adorable with this side tucked and this side down. I think it's really feminine, it's really pretty. So this is my right side and then the back. You can see that short nape there. It'S really cute and then my left side and then back to the front all right. Let'S go ahead and take Trend alert off. So that I can show you the inside of the cap. Okay, here we go, there is your left-handed monofilament part. That goes all the way back to the crown which is fantastic. This is going to give you an illusion of scalp anywhere that you part within this section and then you've got that really great lace front very similar. So keep in mind. This is a Gabor style, but the lace front and the hairline is very very similar to what you would have experienced on your Raquel Welch wigs. If you've had those in the past and then you have that gorgeous extended lace, all the way into the ear tab. That'S helping create a very beautiful and natural hairline and then the open wefted sides and back this particular style does not have an extended nape. This is a regular nape. An extended nape is about double this depth, so it would probably come to about my finger if it had an extended nape and then you have the velcro adjusters here so think of these adjusters as like your belt okay. So if your head circumference is smaller than mine, mine being 22 inches, you could bring in these adjusters to make that cap size a little bit smaller to fit your head circumference. So I think I mentioned to you earlier that this brand new Gabor style called Trend alert was reminding me a lot of Raquel Welch's unfiltered and I just happen to have it right here in the exact same color, which is shaded ice pumpkin spice. There'S a lot of similarities between these these two, but let's talk about the differences and I'll pop this on in a second so that you can take a look in my opinion. I think Trend alert, perhaps is a more classic: a classic look: okay, a classic Bob and then the wave pattern. On this left hand, side of the wig is smoother than what we see on unfiltered and then there's some key differences in the Cap Construction. So why don't I go ahead and I will turn unfiltered inside out so that you can see the inside of the cap so unfiltered in comparison to Trend alert has a full monofilament top and it has that same lace, front that runs into the ear tab, which Is gorgeous same wefted sides and back one of the key differences is unfiltered, does have an extended nape. So if you're somebody that really gets worried about keeping that wig down at the base of your neck, perhaps you have a very flat occipital bone, then having a wig with an extended knee can really assist in keeping that wig lower down on your nape. So when you're, comparing between determining okay, is unfiltered best for me or is Trend alert the better fit for me, a couple of things to consider number one: if you like the flexing and the flexibility story of parting options, then perhaps unfiltered may be the one to Look to because Trend alert has that beautiful, left-handed monofilament part where unfiltered has that full monofilament top where you have parting flexibility. The other thing to note, though, is Cap. Construction can often determine in part a cost of a wig okay, so typically on average you're going to have a higher price point on a wig with more cap features like this, like a full monofilament top versus a left-handed monofilament part. But with that said, if you like to part your hair on the left, they're really potentially is no need to spend the extra money if everything else is equal. Okay. So now I'm back and I'm wearing Raquel Welch's unfiltered, and perhaps you can see what I'm seeing, which is on this left hand side. You do have a different wave pattern than we saw on Trend alert. The other thing is, I think that unfiltered is a little bit edgier than Trend alert, where Trend alert to me is more classic in nature. Okay, so I'll do a turn with unfiltered so that you can take a look at all sides. So this is my right side, the back and my left side and back to the front okay. So I have Trend alert back on and, as you can see, some of those differences on the side and a little bit more of a classic look to this style than we saw on unfiltered. But as you know that both of these styles that I'm showing you today, I have in shaded ice pumpkin spice, one of my favorite Shades from Raquel Welch and now within the Gabor designer series collection. And basically, this is a shaded color, Okay, a shaded root, so it is a strawberry blonde shaded with dark red Brown and, as I said, it's absolutely one of my most favorite reddish Shades. It'S absolutely gorgeous, so I hope you've enjoyed taking a look at this brand new Gabor Trend alert, and I really hope that that comparison to Raquel Welch's unfiltered was helpful for you. So anyways stay well stay safe and stay tuned for the next reviews on the brand new Gabor designer Luxury Collection by everybody.
