Hey everybody welcome back to tattoo a closet at wake studio, one. I have a fun comparison for you today when a new style comes out. I always like to draw some comparisons. This really helps us shop more easily for styles. Today, we're going to compare the brand new Raquel welt real deal in the color shaded biscuit RL 1923 ss to an older style by Raquel Welch. I think it's 3 or 4 years old now called straight up with a twist in this very same color. The full comparison coming up short little layered Bob styles like this - will always be in style. They'Ll always be classic they'll always be flattering, but as do you get these updated and modernized, there can be just a little bit of a difference between them. That might just make all the difference for you, so we're gon na talk today about real deal which I'm wearing now. I do have a review out there on this style, Lassie classic design. Yet it's been modernized. So you see all these beautiful layers that we love in a bob style. The length is just right: you're gon na see lots of razoring, especially in the back on those layers right there at the back. It actually gives a little bit of stacking effect. It just gives that salon fresh appearance, something that's been modernized up-to-date fresh for the season, there's also a little bit of a longer side piece here with some knotch cutting here on the sides that sweeps around to frame the face and gives it just the slight angle. You'Ll notice that it's about 6 and a bit 6 and a half inches from the crown is I've got a feathery wispy appeal to it. I have worked this one a little bit to train it, to go to give it a little bit of lift at the front and to make it sweep out and away from the face right out of the box. Real deal was more flat on top and it tendon wanted to sweep into and towards the face. So I had to work on that a little bit. If you don't want to make any lift on the front, you could simply use parting to keep it out of the face. I'Ve got mine parted just a little bit left of center. That seems to work out very well. For me, real deal has a lace front and a very generous single monofilament top same as straight up with the twists straight up with the twist is sitting back here. I think you can probably spot her right there, so I purchased this way. Oh gosh, how long has it been three or four years? I'M not real sure it's in the same color shaded biscuit. I want to address the differences in this color. First, it seems to me, like the newer styles that are coming out by Raquel Welch in this color shaded biscuit, do have a little bit of a lighter and brighter appearance, the platinum that they're using in the shaded biscuit color in the application. The Platinum is thicker chunkier and there's more of it all throughout that really lightens and brightens it now, with the more classic color of shaded biscuit on my straight up with a twist, you can see where there's a lot more honey in it, there's less platinum in It - and it just appears to be overall warmer and darker and tone than the newer application of shaded biscuit as we get more into the newer Styles like the unfiltered and now with real-deal you're, going to see more platinum in those particular applications very easy to spot. The differences same color, so let's talk about the differences and similarities in the style they're, both beautiful layered Bob cuts approximately the same length they straight up with the twist, has about an eight inch front piece which is gon na stretch below the chin and eight inch Crown and a two and a half inch in eight, so overall, it's a tad longer, but it has the same basic design kind of a wispy forward movement to frame the face. Now, in the back, there's less there's no razoring at all in the back and there's less of a stacking effect, just a slight beveling there at the nape, it's more rounded and polished and appearance than real deal so real deal. I'Ve got all of these razored ends. It'S light wispy. It feels lighter on the head. Both of them feature the lace front, monofilament top so they're, basically the same exact cap, so the difference is going to lie in the layering for sure. So the bottom line is this: if you like, more of a rounded polished classic, look, I think straight up with a twist, although very modern in its day is going to suit you more easily than the real deal. The real deal has been raisered and tapered and just modernized all over both about the same length, but straight up with the twist is a tad longer I'll go ahead and put on straight up with a twist and we'll do side by side comparisons.

Tosha Rae: I do love all the comparisons. It helps so so much!

Margot Austin: Wow Taz, the quality of your videos is just astounding. You are such a talent. This is a very detailed comparison and the edit with the split screen is so helpful and beautifully done. Thanks for you great work!

Lisa Wawrzynski: Wow, great segment, very useful! It's helpful to see the side-by-side comparison and your comments. I prefer Real Deal; it's very much on-trend. I definitely want this style, now just have to figure out which color is best for me. (my complexion is warm Autumn) I'll let you know what I decide :-) Thank you for this video.

Brenda Gregory Yuen: So cute and the color difference is very noticeable! I have Ready for Takeoff in Shaded Biscuit and it's color matches the Real Deal more than Straight Up With a Twist. I definitely love the color...Real Deal is cute! Choppy! Fashion-forward. Thank you for the side-by-side comparison Taz!

Pyewhackett: THANK YOU, the color. I needed to see the older version compared to how it has been upgraded, to a brighter and more appealing color. I shall buy the new shaded biscuit with confidence, and play more with my older Biscuit wig, to control those bangs.

Vicky Thompson: Thanks so much for that comparison Taz! So helpful! From the stock photos I would never of considered Real Deal but after your review I want to order it. SUWAT is one of my very favorites but I think I may like this one even better with the more layering. I'm surprised to see the very popular Shaded Biscuit changing color. Not understanding why they would do this?? How would you say the newer version of Shaded Biscuit compares to Iced Macchiato Latte? Thank again love for your great reviews. You're my fav reviewer! XO

Connie Steve: It was still love at first sight on Real Deal for me. Definitely on my wish list!!! Love the style!! Thanks for the comparison!❣❣

Sandra G. McAlister: So thankful for your channel Taz, i love to watch your videos and learn from your knowledge about the wigs that you share with us. You're a joy to watch. Have a bless day.

Cathy Olague: Just ordered another SUWAT because I loved that cut right out of the box. I kinda shy away from the ones that slide into your face because as a nurse I can't have bangs in the way of my vision while starting an IV or doing a procedure. As always Taz you look great in everything and I really value your reviews!

JJ Renae: I just received my Real Deal in Shaded Biscuit. Oh my I love this! Straight Up With A Twist was the first wig style that I fell in love with, I have 3 of them. My biggest complaint about it is that there is so much hair. Real Deal is so cute with razored ends, plus it doesn’t seem to be as thick as SUWAT. Perfect!!!

Sandra G. McAlister: Love them both, but Real Deal is my favorite. Thanks Taz

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: Thanks so much, Taz! I was wondering about how these two styles compared. Love them both!!! XOXO

Sheila Keilty: I'm so glad you did this comparison. I THOUGHT Shaded Biscuit got lighter! Straight ip with a twist is still my #1 all time fave! Want to try the Real Deal for sure! Thanks again! Perfect review as always! ❤

Valli S: This is a difficult choice between styles. At first glance, I like the newest version. I love how you've compared the color updates. Those are very different. Thank you.

vittoriablue: Wonderful review, thank you!! Real Deal is the color that suits me, but the Straight Up with a Twist is just the right length. Guess I cannot have it all, eh?

Suzanne Dawson: OMG! I LOVE that Real Deal. Perfectly edgy! But I haven’t heard of Raquel Welch coming out with any fun fashion colors. Am I wrong about that? Thanks for this great review, Taz

DeDe Millikan: Great comparison Taz! Can’t wait to get mine! . I love razor cuts!

Wear Wigs with Me: TAZ! This was so helpful! I don’t need any help with roundness or softness around my face so I, for sure, need the Real Deal. Thank you for making this video!

Sandy Manning: I'd like to say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you". I just received Voltage and I was ready to send it back until I watched your video featuring Voltage......I saw how you "worked with it" and I finally made her look like I wanted. Thank you so much....you are a big asset to the "wig community".

Michele KT: Both are beautiful but I do like the older version of Shaded Biscuit more. : )

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: You keep tempting me with Real Deal and Shaded Biscuit. I noticed the chunkier highlights in my Unfiltered Shaded Cappuccino in comparison to my older Editors Pick and UpStage too. Unfiltered is way more blonder to me. Hugs!

Lana Leah: I finally got Straight Up With a Twist and love it! Classic

LyxxsGems: I have both, straight up with a twist is still the favorite. ❤️ As always you look amazing.

JM in SD: Thank you for the excellent review and comparison. I really like Real Deal but prefer the “old” shaded biscuit color on SUWAT. Is there another shade of rooted blond that would be closer to the former shaded biscuit or something similar to Golden Wheat SS?

Debera Crabb: I love these comparisons your doing their great

Billie Fox: Love both styles.

Roots, Rocks & Feathers: Aw you did this just for me, didn't you? LOL. After I found that killer deal on SUWAT, after being drawn to Real Deal, I still have to keep the latter on my wish list. Real Deal is really just an updated version of SUWAT, I believe, and a super cute one. Amazing the color difference as well, wow! My SUWAT, as I mentioned to you in our correspondence is SS Cappuccino, my fav RW color. I really like both styles! I think you could switch between them, if they are the same color, of course, and knowing how observant, or not, that most people are, most would not really notice, or if they did, they'd be scratching their head wondering what was different about you. Some may just think you used some product in your hair when you switched to Real Deal. Thank you for the comparison! Great as always. Have a great day, Taz!

Geri Weyer: I love both of them, thank you!!

Emily Rosenzweig: Wow, what a huge difference in the colors! Do you think if I bought a straight up with a twist now it is being manufactured with the new version of the color? I really prefer the honey tones...

Alli Cat: They are so similar! Thanks for the comparison

Candy Chand: Love the brighter color. Thank you for your review

Jackie Marsh: Love Love This Comparison Video Taz!! You Do A Fabulous Job!! Love Straight Up With a Twist, But Reel Deal is The Real Deal FOR me!! Thank You Sweet Friend For a Perfect Review as Always!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO

Geraldine Vinar: Nice video, I like the real deal for myself. I too do not like a flat front bang and I’m wondering if you can show us how you worked with it to make it stand up and away from the forehead. Would really appreciate.

san dy: i like real deal way better than straight up/twist. Good review comparison.

Tonya Williams: Still like Straight Up With A Twist best...but both are great!

Sue's Muse: Love the edgy Real Deal!

Connie Feltman: Look very much alike to me....both darling on you. Thanks for sharing!

Jennifer Wills: You make everything look good.

Dee Roga Tory: Taz I love both of these but wondered is there a longer but same style wig that comes to mind? You’re tiny and look great in anything - when I start to shop these shorter styles I have to be so aware of the length because I’m taller. I’m starting to think I’ll just have to cut up an old Zara to get the look I’m going for.

mary allen: Oh, Taz, I need your "Magic Fingers" to make my Straight Up with a Twist look like yours!! Haven't been a able to get the lift or keep the bangs off my face!! UGH! I guess I need to "breakdown" and get a steamer... I have been so hesitant to do it (I'm styling challenged) but, I know it works! You look fantastic, as always, in both styles!! Stay well! Love & Hugs, Mary♡♡♡

Patricia Stonebridge: Hi my lovely, I personally like the style of the Real deal but with the shaded biscuit colour on the straight up with a twist on you I only have x 2 wigs ignite HD by John Renau in Palm Springs blonde, I like the look of the HD look more natural than the non HD which tend to look too shiny ?? Love your videos xxx

Karen McVey: Taz, would Real Deal be a good everyday go to wig. The last 4 or more wigs that I have had I have not been satisfied so I am looking for something that is easy go to wig for my daily wear.

Michele Trush: Could you please explain what you mean by “working with it” to get the front up off your face? Did you use steam or products? Thanks for another helpful review.

Wyvona Jarrard: Real Deal I love the color! My Ready For Take Off is not as lite as RealDeal! I don’t like that! I love the Real Deal for its color!!! They both look so good on you! I think I’m going to get a job to get all these wigs you show! Can’t do that be hair style any more my back say Nono, Nono! Love from Oklahoma ❤️❤️❤️

reiney parham: I have shaded Biscuit in straight up..Actually, couldn't I razor cut mine to make it a bit edgy?

Kathy Webb: Hi Taz I’m checking it’s you because you might be able to send me in the correct direction. I’m looking everywhere for a beautiful wig I saw the other day. It’s Delectable F13/26. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Kathy W

Sandy Ludlow: Gosh Taz so similar, but both lovely. X Sandy

denise bissell: Love them but root too dark

likablynn: You look good in everything

angelxorae88: what curly wigs are the 2 on the right bottom ?

Diana Tootill: Im not sure if you are aware but there is a company that has bunch pics of you in your wigs to sell wigs. Did you know this?

lil poohbear: Hey there Taz!
