TressAllure sent me this wig to review. You can purchase it from Name Brand Wigs here and the code DENISE30 will save you 30%! https://bit.ly/FlawlessWavesNBW

I forgot to add in the Out of the box and how I dealt with it (sorry, this was one of the first videos I filmed when I got back to it after my Dad passed)... I will find that footage and put out a short Tip Tuesday with it. So sorry about that! I'm working hard to get caught up on videos after a month off due to the passing of my Dad and it slipped through the cracks.

I am using this wig to do a review of the new TressAllure Cool Flow iron and adding curl to it, so stay turned for that!!

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is Denise. I'M also known as Hey wig's sister on Instagram and Facebook. Today, I'm here to bring you a wig review in partnership with tressallure. This is Flawless waves in the color. 17. 23. Slash R8. A beautiful rooted, auburn blonde and look at the sassiness of this piece. I can't wait to show you everything about this one. I'M also going to do a quick comparison with one of my favorite trestler wigs. So if you want to know more, stick around trust Allure did send me this week, so that I could share it with all of you and I'm really excited to be able to tell you all about this fun shade with waves, has a basic cap and is An all-around super super cute style toward the end of this video, I'm going to do a quick comparison with Tres Allure Trend. I just recently reviewed that piece. It is one of my favorite trestler wigs and I wear it all the time. It is quite a bit more expensive than this one, though, because it does have a full mono top and a lace front. It is so adorable and I am really excited to be able to show you a wig that is about a third of the price and it's very similar. So if you'd like to see that comparison stick around until the end and for those of you new to my channel, I do time stamp everything in this video in the description. So you can skip ahead to only the parts that you care about. You don't have to watch my whole review, because I do a lot of educating in my reviews and they tend to be a little long. So I try to make it easy for you guys to find what you want to find all right. You guys, let's take a look at this one from all sides. I also did an out of the box and I did a special little tutorial that shows you how to work with a wavy piece out of the box. If that would be helpful to you, that will be toward the end as well. So I highly encourage you to look at those time stamps. So you know what this video contains. It'S going to be a little bit longer than typical, because I'm including a lot, and so I will give you the review first and I'll tack, all those extras on the end, all right. So this piece has a basic cap, also known as a machine made cap. It also has a fair amount of permatease, so we've got permatease all on the top right here, and that gives it a lot of volume and if you want to get in there and really kind of mess around with that permatease, you can really get a lot Of volume in this one in in all of these layers, there's lots of really short layers on the top really contribute to that volume. All around this whole cap. There is permatease, but the majority of it lives at the very top, because this one doesn't have any monofilament or a lace front. The permatease really helps to disguise the cap and make it look really realistic, and because of the volume up here and the layers, you don't see any visible permatease. That can sometimes be a concern with a basic cap wig. Sometimes you can see a little bit of that visible permatease, it's not visible on this one at all and because it has an already made Fringe. You don't have to worry about, not because it doesn't have a lace front. You don't have to worry about it. Looking obvious, basically, the whole top is a heavy Bang. If you don't like your bangs that heavy one of the things you can do is you can sort of just take your fingers and sweep the hair back. These layers are so adorable and it really does help soften that front a little bit. I just love it such a cute style. Let'S talk about this cap I'll show you the inside of the cap. So we have what, like I said, a basic cap, which means it doesn't have a lace front. It doesn't have any monofilament, there's a bunch of permatease in here. It does have very soft velvety feeling material right here. Also on the ear tabs. There'S lots of hair sewn in on the ear tabs to give you really good coverage and then an extended nape with velcro adjusters. I really love these caps by tressallure they're called their cool Comfort, cap and they're so comfortable, and they do run. I would say true to average: sometimes they seem like they maybe even run a little bit generously sized. I think they typically say that their caps, their average size cap, which this is is about 21 and a half to 22 and a half inch circumference. I have a 22 and I'm sorry, yes, 22 inch circumference and I do have this cinched in a little bit. So I really do think this is running very true to average they have unbelievable stretch, some of the best stretch out there in wigs, which helps to make this more comfortable. It also helps so that it will fit a wider variety of head sizes, which can be super helpful. I also get really good coverage from tressallure wigs. These ear tabs fall down exactly where I need them to give me the best coverage and then because they sewed so much hair in. I really don't have to worry about blending issues. It just fits me comfortably, gives me great coverage and is an overall one of my favorite caps. Now I would say that this this wig has a moderate density. It'S not heavy density, it's not super light density. I think it's kind of in between, but I do think because of all the permatease for my wig sisters, who struggle with the wig Journey. Maybe you've been losing your hair for a long time. It'S been thinning for a long time or you've just never had much. Hair, this is going to be a little bit of a. It will take some transitioning to be able to get used to a wig with this much fullness on the top trust me, I was where you are in the in my very beginning of my wig wearing journey. I really struggled with wigs with permatease and wigs with volume. It was just kind of hard for me to get used to, but let me tell you that you can get there if I'm there, you can get there. But I do like to point that out because I know I have a lot of new wig sisters who watch my reviews and it can be really hard to assess volume and proof on video trust me when I say it's quite voluminous: it's not a ridiculous amount. I think it looks like you worked hard to get lift in your hair. You took a you know, you used some, you know volumizing uh product, you took a round brush and you get yourself a really good blowout to get that volume. That'S what it reminds me of really fun. Let me show you a hack, though, if volume, if you struggle with volume, you want to try a wig like this, but you're, not sure. Let me show you what you can do. I'Ve shown this in so many videos, but I feel, like I always have to give you guys tips to help you, because you might look at this and think. Oh, I just love it, I'm going to give it a try and then you get it and you find it too. Full. Don'T fret headbands are your best friend when it comes to that. So I just like to take. You can pull some hair back. However, you want to do it, but you essentially stick the headband on and then you arrange. The hair, however, will work best for you. But what happens when you do that? I'M just trying to look in the mirror here when you do that? Is it tamps down some of that volume? Look at that right now, and so you can tuck here to give yourself even less volume on the sides. You know pull some of the bang back, just leave a little bit of the bang forward and look at how different this looks. Don'T fret, if you get a wig, that's not perfect for you out of the box. Sometimes it just takes you getting used to it, and styling can be your best friend when it comes to struggles with wigs, and I think these headbands are a must-have for any wig wearer who can wear headbands because it really will help. You broaden your experience with wigs and know that you can work with it, whether or not it's the perfect style for you now these are heat friendly, fibers and Tressler actually makes some of my favorite heat friendly fibers. I have Trend by tressallure, which I mentioned earlier. I'M going to be doing a comparison with Trend, these have heat friendly fibers as well, and I have worn this a ton so much. I love this wig, I wear it often and the fibers are still perfect. They do not feel frizzy. I cannot feel that there's any wear on them and the reason for that is the length this has a similar overall length and because it is above my collar, I don't have to worry about it rubbing on my clothing and that is the enemy of heat friendly Fibers and why heat friendly fibers can be challenging to care for because when they rub up on clothing, that friction causes fraying and you do have to take heat to heat friendly fibers regularly to keep that at Bay. I do have a video showing you how to do that in the case of trend and this one, I don't think that's going to be a problem because they're short enough they're not rubbing up on my clothing, if you wear high-necked, shirts and scarves, and things like That that may be a different story, but regular clothing. I wouldn't worry about these heat friendly fibers, the benefit of this being heat friendly number one. The fibers feel like human hair. They are very soft. Very silky, healthy human hair, is what they feel like number two they're less shiny overall heat friendly fibers are less shiny than regular synthetic and so for my wig sisters, who are sensitive to shine and you feel like that's a dead giveaway on a wig heat friendly Fibers aren't really going to cause that issue, so that's another benefit. Another benefit, is you can heat style this one? So, let's just say you want a little more curl. So take a look. This whole top section is actually pretty straight and down here. There'S a bunch of curl or not really curl but wave similar pretty straight right here and then you've got wave down here. Maybe you want to add more wave to this one. You absolutely can you can use a curling iron. You can use a crimping iron. You can use a flat iron if you're able to curl with a flat iron and really make this your own. Another reason why that could be really beneficial is: let's say you don't like all this wave, you can take heat to it and straighten it. A little bit so it does give you a lot more flexibility and for me that uh I don't know it just makes it so. These wigs will work for more women, which I really appreciate. Okay, before we do the comparison. Let'S talk about color. This color is 17 23 with an eight root. The eight root is a medium brown, and it's just perfect for this color, it's like a shadow. They did such a good job. It'S not a long root. It'S just like a shadow. It is so stunning and then I would classify this color as a golden auburn blonde. That'S what I think of when I see it. So it's got a ton of different colors running through it. It'S so Dynamic, so we've got some light brown or light blonde. You can see that really light blonde right there and then we've got some strawberry in here. We'Ve got some light, Auburn and then peeking through at that root. Is that eight brunette look at those lighter colors here, it's so beautiful and so Dynamic. Some of those lighter colors are at the front as well, which gives the face. Uh gives you some face, brightening right around the front. This is so beautiful if you are on the cusp of light brown and dark blonde, and you like Auburn and red tones. This could be a great color. It'S definitely warm. The rooting is subtle, but it's great for those of us with dark bio hair, because it does feel more natural to see that rooting and then you've got just the Auburn and the blonde and the light brown tones throughout it's a beautiful, beautiful color. I'M a huge fan, one last look inside with the color all right, let's get outside, so you can see this color outside and then I will do the comparison and Tack on that out of box for you guys. So you can see what I did with this. One I just sprayed it with water scrunched it up, fluffed it up no product or anything, and that's how I achieved this. Look all right, guys, let's get outside friends here we are with this gorgeous color outside, isn't it pretty? You can see how subtle that rooting is not heavy rooting at all. I do see. I'Ve got a little Winger bangs that I have to handle with some heat, but there you go thanks for watching. Okay, let's quickly take a look at Trend, so I um looked at their measurements and I compared them and while they're very similar, The Fringe is the same at 3.25 inches. The crown is where there's the biggest difference. This has tons of shorter layers on the crown. So the crown on this one is 5.5 inches, whereas the crown on this one, it says nine inches, so it's definitely longer as opposed to being as layered um. The nape is six inches on this one. So we've got a longer nape down here, and the nape on this one is only can see the nape right there, it's only 2.5 inches, so it makes it feel a little bit shorter in the back, because that nape is longer also gives this one. Much more of a layered look! This one is a little tiny bit layered, but not as much at all and because this one has a full mono top. Let me show that to you full mono top and a lace front you're, paying a premium price for this. One because of those hand-tied features, and quite frankly, especially with the lace front - I don't know how necessary so you can see it does look shorter overall. But I wanted to show you this comparison, because if you really liked this one, but you just couldn't really stomach the price, maybe you could look at Flawless waves. You could always trim it up a little bit if you wanted a little bit shorter. The biggest difference is this does not have permatease on the top, so you don't have the same level of volume, but you could take Flawless waves and you could add a little bit more defined curl in that one, because you can see the curl goes all the Way to the top, you could trim it up a little bit to make it this length. The front is real real similar, so I just wanted to show this to you guys and give you this as an example. In case you saw a trend and you loved it, but it just wasn't in the cards for you. Maybe Flawless waves could be one to try and you can always make adjustments to it to get it closer to this. It'S pretty close to begin with, but just a little bit of tweaking and you could have yourself a real dupe, hope that helped you guys

Frankie Lee: What a sweet little wig. And you make it even cuter, of course. Love this.

Faith Feldman: Love Flawless Waves!! It looks gorgeous on you!

Karen Gaylor: Love this on you! I also love the color. Definitely right up my alley!

Sue Pussilano: This is my newest wig in the same exact color. I love her! She’s sassy yet soft and flirty and the fibers are wonderful. It looks adorable on you! Thanks for a great review.

Sally Biondo: Hi Denise! Oh, I LOVE this one and they have it in my gray color, YEAH! Thank you for the review. This one is going to be my next purchase. She is darling! You are, too! You look fabulous! Love you!❤

Anne Belair: Thank you so much for this great review. This wig is very cute. It looks like Henry Margu's Paige which is my favorite wig.

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Denise! She looks so pretty on you! That color is beautiful. I still love Charlotte by Tresallure. I'm always on the lookout for an open box Charlotte!! Love and blessings ♥️

Nancy Taylor: Denise, you look adorable in this wig. I like it better than Trend. I actually purchased Flawless Waves right before Christmas in the color 24/18t. One of my all time favorite colors is 24bt18 by Jon Renau. It seems that most brands have a version of this shade among their colors but JR is the best, in my opinion. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the TressAllure version. I found the color to be a bit flat & unnatural. It may have something to do with the HD fibers. Colors can vary depending on the type of fiber. I LOVE the color you are reviewing here. It’s beautiful. I’ve always had fine hair…zero poof. If I used hot rollers the curls fell flat before I could get out the door. Of course, my hair has thinned significantly, especially in front & on the sides. I still love full wigs. It’s the hair I’ve always wanted. I have no issues with Permatease. And I like the tousled bedhead look. This wig fits the bill. It’s really cute with the headband too. Thanks for reviewing this style. It would be cute on a lot face shapes

Marti Jo Barrett: YES! This is such a sassy and mature look on you, Denise!! The color and cut are amazing! WEAR HER OUT!

pamklein: The headband trick is amazing to tamp down fullness. She looks amazing on you Denise as always!

Sharon Steele: Hi Denise! You look adorable in Flawless Waves and especially in this shade ❤

A. RosesRBleu: I love it! Great review, Denise! I am hoping this one and the other shag you reviewed become give aways! ☺️

Danielle M: Very nice wig and it looks great on you. Loving the color variation!

sheryl d: Another great one! Thank u for all ur reviews, u don’t know how much we ladies appreciate them!

Sassybanjo: I got this one in the same color a couple of months ago. I bought one in red first. It’s one of my favorite styles, with Girl Mono as number one.

Pat B: Love the comparison of 2 similar but different wigs in 1 video. Thanks!

Lisa Stone: She looks SO GOOD ON YOU!!!

Brenda Ay: Hi Denise! I have Anima by EW. How does Flawless Waves compare in style and density? Could you do a video showing the similarities if you think they are close?

Clara: Your videos are fantastic Denise the longer the better we always enjoy them. Flawless waves is cute for sure I prefer the top swept to the sides. I would appreciate a video about how different brands fit particularly with over the head measurements

Michelle Diekman: Looks Gorgeous on you!! Fabulous ❤️❤️❤️

Cindy Small: What a cute sassy wig!

Joanne Good: OMygosh! Love love love this one and the color rocks!

Show and Tell My Wigs: Can you tell me what color this reminds you of in other brands? Is it like Caramel Kiss or Bernstein rooted? I'm trying to figure out if it is dark enough. You look really cute in this and it's a great review.

Karen's Kloset: Oh my goodness girl I love that and the color is gorgeous just up my alley for the summer time oh please please wanna sell that 1 I wanna buy it⚘❣

Brenda Baum: Really cute!

Dayna Peterson: Do you feel it was really loaded with hair? I have the exact same one and am still thinning her.

Inge Samyn: Ooh how cute

Deb1963: Omg so look cute on you!!!!
