Open it, this is what she's gon na see good morning. It is monday like at 12 o'clock, i slept in too long, but i am about to prepare some orders to ship them out um for my ready to ship sale, and i just wanted to show you guys what that process looks like and yeah i wan na. I wan na start taking you guys on the journey with me. I started my business back in october and i really just wanna document my growth and carry you guys along with me on this journey. It'S a very personal journey. For me, it's not even about like no money or anything, it's just breaking boundaries and pushing brown, pushing boundaries and breaking general generational curses and just doing things that i never thought i would be able to do so. My business is a way that i'm challenging myself to do that. Excuse me. I just woke up a little crazy, but when i cut my hair y'all know a little bobbish and all that but yeah. So that's what i'm start doing on my channel. So my channel is going to some of the regular units that i created that i have to pack and get them out, so i'm gon na show you guys how i do that all right, you guys so the first thing i like to do this is my Shipping table this is my multi-purpose table, but it's also much everything first thing i like to do is get some clorox wipes and wipe it down. This is just to make sure the table is clean and nothing's like getting on the unit and stuff like that. Now i'm gon na change, my gloves when i touch the uh clorox wipes with those last glue, so i'm gon na change my gloves and then get my ipad to see what it needs to be. What i need to to print my labels and see where i need to print everything, so i go to my shopify app turn those over for privacy purposes. So now i'm gon na get my boxes and my shipping material and package the orders so hold on one minute. So i'm gon na move my ipad, and these are my boxes right now, i'm just working with plain white boxes um when you're starting a business, your packaging doesn't need to be super elaborate because you're still starting and you know you need to start bringing in revenue. So you can upgrade your stuff in the future. People appreciate, you know humble beginnings, starting small and growing, so it's no need to rush and get packaging for thousands or hundreds of dollars. You don't even have anything you don't even have anything to put in it to sell, because you don't necessarily know how to sell or whatever your brand is not on point. So you don't want to make that investment into packaging super great super early, so yeah and i'm going to be shipping out some style straps. So i just need one polymer, and so i like to take everything that i need out first, this is my sprinkle paper. I keep it in this bath and body works bag, so i'm going to need that down. Here is where i keep most most of my marketing materials. So i'm gon na need those are um. My tags for my units, i'm gon na, need some business cards, usually take out a few give put a few in each order, so they can get them out whatever i have my my uh thank you cards and you get your promo card right here. I need three of these. You want. You can get one of these when you order a unit, and i believe that's it from here and then i'm gon na need my tagging gun for these tags, these tags, so i can put them on the unit. My permanent marker to write on here write your name and your uh discount code for your next order, and i don't think i need anything else in here for right now. So i got that in that got all that stuff put out. Oh yeah, so what i like to do, i'm gon na put this on the course like anyway, so i'm going to make the boxes so they're real easy to make. You just follow the pattern. So what i like to do is just fold it go like that seconds. These are the labels, okay y'all, so i have my tags that i'm going to type on the units written out. I have my thank you cards written out oops. This is what they look like. Your ultimate style has blue arrived cards and my packaging and all that stuff. So my box, it is eight by seven by three inches, and this is what it looks like this. It'S not as big. I do need bigger boxes, but i'll get there. I need to go ahead and order some, but moving on so the first thing that i do is i get my brown tissue paper like that and i go ahead and um. I brought you guys a brush. You guys in a little closer so like that, and then i usually put a little bit of sprinkle paper and i get my that units i'm gon na get my unit. This is through the hour unit. It'S a bob, it's an essential bob. The lace is pre-cut and all that good stuff, so i'm gon na keep it like that. Get. My tagging done go ahead and put the put that in there like that and i'll just tag it uh somewhere, where it's not that deep, where the hole won't be. No, whatever you get what i'm saying so i sometimes just pin it right there through the hooks where the wig straps go and it's tag. Question go ahead and take my white tissue paper. I could take a couple of you: get these at the dollar store for, like a dollar um or on amazon. You get a bunch for the low, so i do that is form all right. I'M back. I have to get a hair net, so go ahead and hold it like that the hair net over the wig - it's better. If somebody help you do this and stuff like that, i might put one more piece in here: um like that. It looks like some neat she's getting a complimentary style sports service, so i will be adding in her pre her prepaid label, her prepaid label and her pre in her polly miller, so she could take so she could send her unit in when it's when she's ready For it to get maintained so wash um conditioned and restyled, so i was doing a complimentary um service for that, for whoever ordered them already to ship collection this time yeah. So this is what i'll be putting in there. Next, at the bottom, i'm just gon na fold that, like that and put her label in there at the bottom, then i'm gon na put her unit in just like that. So every customer get like a goody bag for me, so that comes with a edge brush to help brush your edges or stick down the flyaways. You get a complimentary stocking cap and i have if i have some lashes or something laying around. I thought i'm in there too um just first, you know chibi and then i get a little bit more crinkle, just a little bit just a very small amount of crinkle to make the bag look. You know jazzy or whatever, throw it in there with their business card. I usually put one or two in there, so they'll have it in or to give it to. Somebody else throw that in there like that, and i just closed it's like a little goodie, slash gift bag, and let me see if this is her. Yes - and this is her thank you card, so i just go ahead and put that, and then i put this on top like that and that's how my orders look all right, so i got my stickers. I use this just to uh seal the tissue paper up. If that makes sense uh, i just try to get it to like a point in the middle, so that would be the part that seals everything these are pretty good stickers. I just put this like a general point: where get it to a general point to where it sticks like that, i meant to put her code on the outside, but it's okay, so when she open it. This is what she's gon na see in the box. She'S gon na open it, your ultimate style, has arrived now like it says: i'm go ahead and close it down right there. It'S going to do that because it's puffy, but so i like to get my tape and i pre tape it before i put my uh styling wax paper like that. Bring it connects, lovely cut it off, so it is pre-taped, and then i'm going to go ahead and measure out my my branded tape, so i go ahead and i'll wrap it around. I would like i did the clear tape right over it boom. I let it overlap a little bit just a little bit and i'll cut it right. There right now go ahead and wet it down. So with this tape, you have to wet it with a sponge. It came with a little blue sponge, but i thought i got sponge it hold on water, but i'll just replace it with this one. You don't want to wet it down. I pre-dampened it. It'S wet, see the water in it just wet it down, really really good. Make sure it's moist, nice and moist? That'S what it looks like you can get your box do the same thing i just did place it as neatly as you can in the middle just like that down press it down here. It'S not all the way like perfect meta, but you're gon na put the label over this anyway. So it's not gon na look any kind of way. So it looks like right here. I don't wan na show you guys the addresses, so i'm gon na peel it off like that peel through and then go ahead and just snap it on like that and that's what it looks like. This is gon na tape and it's gon na dry down and it's gon na like have an indestructible code. You have to cut through that, like that's, like the amazon tape like it's not going anywhere yeah and like if somebody tampers with it you can tell so this is what it looks like and she's about to get dropped off right now, so yep.
