Hey my fashionistas, oh my god. What was the last time I did a hair tutorial, but today I'm going to show you my step-by-step process on how I slay my BOB wig. Yes, well, this hair is from Julia hair and this is Brazilian body wave and they had some really cute lashes in the package, and I was like yes, okay, okay and the bundles that I got is 14 inches, 16 inches, 18 inches and 20 inches. Very, very pretty hair and beautiful packaging with 20 inch closure with a 20 inch closure, and I'm just gon na show you how I sew on my closure to my spandex cap for my wigs, I like to use spandex caps for my wigs because it holds so Much better and I'm just doing a double loop, not to sew down the frontal I like to use this sewing technique because the frontal doesn't move anywhere. The thread does not get loose or anything like that. So I like to use that kind of technique when I'm sewing down my frontal and as you can see, I'm just trying to maneuver right to make sure I get it completely straight, because you do not want a lopsided frontal honey. Now this is the front tool. Just sewn down on the front of the way cap this way head, this wig form is from Amazon and led tooling down below it's very helpful to get a wig head that fits your specific head size, so you do not get incorrect measurements, I'm just going to Take off that cap and then I'm going to line the head with a regular, simple plastic bag and I'm going to put the cap over it. This is because we're going to be doing a quick weave bag is there to have the glue stick to the cap and not to the head form, and it just catches all the glue. When you take the cap off and here's my husband and the shot thanks. Babe, so I'm just going to glue down these tracks with some weaving glue, I'm just going to lay my first track down and the inch that I used for the back of this wig is the 14 inch, so I'm actually going in Reverse I'm doing like 14 16, 18 and 20, as I go up so the 14 is at the back and the 20 rolls all the way be at the front because we're doing a bob and I'm also laying my tracks not so close together, because I don't want back of my wig To be super super thick and I'm just going to continue laying the tracks all the way until I get to the front. So now I'm just going to measure out this elastic band and I got this from Amazon and the reason why I'm cutting an elastic band is because I'm going to attach it to my frontal. So I can have a secure holes as you can see. I'M going to put that band at the back of my head, so I can stay secured and, as you can see, I'm tugging and pulling at it, and I just secured that band down very very tightly. I'M just going to use my heating brush and just straightening out some of those curls those waves night curls those waves in the hair, so I can have an easier time, straightening it and I'm just going to cut the hair to my desired length. For my bob, you want to try on the wig first and see where you want to cut it, so you can have an idea where you want the length to be so. You just don't want to go in and start cutting we're just gon na clean up the ends of this hair and just keep cutting all around and try to get it symmetrical as possible. I mean this will take at least maybe 30 minutes to do to actually get it symmetrical because it's on a wig head. It'S on a stand, so it's not gon na be exactly like how you're gon na cut it on somebody else's head. So it will take some time, I'm going to remove this lace by cutting around the perimeter of the closure, and I find it easier to cut lace on the wig head verses like off, so I'm just going to start straightening out this hair. I have my flat iron at 450 degrees and when this hair straightened, I was just so so amazed by how well it straightened like it didn't get all weird. The texture did not get weird it just got. Super flowy and shiny, like this hair, is really really good and I like to use body wave, hair, textured hair because it leaves such such body and fullness to the style that you're trying to achieve versus then using straight hair. So I really do love how this straightened out. I wasn't getting a lot of shedding whatsoever, especially after I cut the hair and it just worked with me. It worked with me. It did not give me any kind of trouble whatsoever, so I'm really really happy about that. So this is one side of the wig straightened and I'm still straightening up back and getting it together, fixing it up honey. I'M going to use my olive oil sheen spray and I'm just going to spray little bits on the hair, not a lot, because we don't want it to stick together and look too oily. I just want to give it some Sheen some shine. So this is how the sheen looks on the hair, and I have my wig cap on ready to put on this wig. As you can see, the band is there. The hair has been waiting for me to put it on and I'm just going to just slide. It on that and that's connected to the frontal, helps so much because you do not need a lot of combs to hold down the wig itself, maybe like two or three bobby pins at most, but a band just keeps everything together. I'M just going to straighten up this hair a little bit from it being on the wig head for like at least two or three days, so I'm just going to flatten out any kind of crinkles that I may have and just flatten out that hair. As you can see like there's a lot of Sheen or so much body in this hair, it's gorgeous it's straightened out so beautifully and I'm just gon na try to get my part together and bump the ends of this hair and use a brush to lay everything Down to get all those frizz ease out the way and yeah. This is just everything. This is how I slay my Bob. So this is the finished look honey. Yes, I am in love with Bob's lately and I cannot get enough of it and Julia hair came through. Thank you.
