Okay, babes so today we'll be working with hs hair bar luxury hair extensions um. I got this unit from a client. She wanted me to customize it for her, so you know the first thing you have to do when you get a series. 13 unit is tone. It nobody likes that yellowy orangish, looking color so with the shimmer lights, what it does it kind of just takes that out when you're in school you actually learn about the color wheel, which is very important when you are working with colors and natural hair as well. Sometimes you have to know what colors cancel out what so in this case, technically the shimmery lights helps kind of reduce some of that bright, yellow and get it more to like a prettier type of blonde. But what i did learn and if you actually follow me on tick tock, which i feel like you should i end up giving you guys a really good gem that i learned from another follower, one of my favorites. Her name is jazz and i'm actually going to share that in this video as well, but i'm not going to share it right now. You have to wait towards the end of the video to get that secret of how to get the perfect type of blonde. So just make sure you stay tuned once the unit is shampooed and conditioned and detangled and also toned. I go ahead and i place the unit under my overhead dryer right here. I'M just showing you guys that this is kind of what stru straight hair looks like. After it comes out the water, i'm just trying to pretty much dry, the closure portion of it right now and then here is the hair completely dry. Now, you're probably wondering how did i dry that whole unit with just overhead dryer? I actually end up tucking it. So if you pay attention to that little bottom part of my dryer, i did tuck the hair right there. No, it does not burn it. It is perfectly fine. So now we're going to go ahead and give her the dark root effect to her unit and i'll be using this honey brown by kiss, which i absolutely adore kiss. Now that's funny, i absolutely like kisses products over a door now, but that's just my personal preference, but before i do get started just so, i can make sure that the roots are secured and i don't really mess up this lace. I am going to go ahead and i'm going to use a got to be free spray and then place the unit right under the dryer, for maybe about five minutes or so, and i did two layers of that. Okay, so i know a sticker is about to pop up that says: 30 minutes y'all. That was literally how long i left it under there, but is that necessary? No, it is not. I just started doing other tasks around the house and that's how long she got left under there. So you can really just do about five to ten minutes. Just depends on how you know much you spray, but it literally only takes minutes for the guys to be freezing to dry on that lace. So right here, i'm gon na go ahead and protect my wig head and place a kroger bag on there um and then go ahead and i'm going to place my wig. What i was about to say was just in case we're, ladies who do make wigs and things like that, and they use their wig head as like their prop to like promote their wigs and stuff. It is a good idea to go ahead and saran wrap them. If you do color a lot that'll help from having to buy another one, but i actually have the actual mannequin head. So i wasn't really that concerned, but i also didn't want it to be super ugly. Anyway. We'Re going to go ahead and i'm going to use a color bow, but i'm going to use the opposite end of it. I'M one of those people who likes to utilize things in different ways: they're not really supposed to be utilized so because i didn't need much. Color well you're going to need more than that right there, but because i didn't need much in the beginning um. I just decided to put the bow upside down and right here. What you're going to see me? Do i'm going to do the roots just to kind of show you the motion that i'm going and how brown it will be and then we're pretty much going to speed past all of this, because it's repetitive but yeah you get a close-up of how close you Want to be um, and also you want to make sure that you hold the hair very tight within this situation. The wig actually had a lot of flyaways and i mean a lot of fly away, so it kind of makes it difficult, but literally patience is key. So i definitely understand why colorist and i'm talking about wig colors, why they charge your ornament leg because baby it takes time like there is nothing to play about when it comes to coloring and critiquing like that, especially when you're doing root touch up so yeah yeah. Okay guys, so here we are, we are at a halfway mark um. What i'm seeing is in the video. The hair actually looks like it's almost white, but i kid y'all, it's really nice. I swear to y'all. It'S really not. I don't know why. It looks like it's silver. It looks really pretty, though, but anyway we're not here to talk about it, so i'm just continuing to blend the color on there and just in case that first clip wasn't enough here. I am in the middle and i am holding onto that hair very, very tight, like i just explained, and with this unit my i've done a unit before, and i made sure that the roots were short this one i kind of wanted to expand it. Just a little bit just to give it an ombre effect, so you know that's just kind of what i'm going for here. You don't have to draw yours out that long. Obviously you know you do not have to do that, but the final results will show exactly how this turned out, but i actually really like it, and i know my client would absolutely love it - make sure you come back for that. Install video as well. Now this part is just a personal preference for me. I do like to let my units that i do color sit under the dryer for at least five to ten minutes just to allow you know a lot of absorption, even though this is a 613 unit and literally, if you had sprayed some purple spray in the Air, it would collect the color, but i just wanted to make sure that it definitely you know, got in there the best that it could now we're back at the sink, and we are about to go ahead and shampoo. The unit out, i did use the blonde in sexy shampoo. Just because, obviously you know it's a blind unit and with a color, which i see a lot of people, do you do not want to rinse your color units off with warm, i mean hot water. It is going to bleed, especially when it's a rinse, it's not a permanent, it's literally going to rinse right out. So you want to make sure if you are shampooing out a colored unit that you just freshly colored. You want to use some cold water. It doesn't have to be freezing cold, but you know what i'm saying it doesn't need to be hot, because it's going to bleed that color is going to bleed now, naturally, of course, because your rinse out is going to bleed anyway, but it's kind of like the Same thing, when you have a colored unit and the heat is too high on your flat irons, how the color begins to fade, it's literally one in the same you just want to be very careful and mindful, when it comes to that. So that's pretty much what you see me doing here: the water is on cold. I'M rinsing it down in that gym that i told you all about that. I learned from tick tock and it's also posted on my tic toc. It'S literally about to come up. So just make sure y'all stay tuned, okay and that's just pretty for the moment, we've all been waiting for this is the gym. Okay. So, like i was explaining before on tick tock, there is a tick tocker. Her name is jaz she's. Absolutely one of my favorite she's a cosmetology student and she also does wigs hello. I absolutely love that, because that's all i want to do but anyways what she said was when you do have a 613 unit. You know a lot of girls end up turning their units silver by accident, like i had spoken of before. What you want to do you want to get that color that you just saw me have there. You want to put a little bit of that in the water, separate your hair and dip it and you're going to come out with this color right here, right here and you're. Probably thinking like girl, i'm going to do that, you have to just be mindful about how much you're actually putting into the water. You don't want to put too much, and i think i'll actually do maybe like a more in-depth video. Maybe here pretty soon again once i get another unit, but i didn't have much footage of me doing it but yeah. This is how the color looks when it's actually wet and it looks so freaking pretty. I absolutely love how this turned out and i just can't wait to see it installed on my crayon. So my original idea that i want to do with this wig because it is 30 inches. I wanted to do a really big bang going upwards and do some crimps, but realistically the hair is so thin and i know that's really not an excuse as to why you can't do crimps on it. But with the crimps that i have. I have the ones from target and i swear. I cannot wait to get some newer ones, but they did not turn out cute. It was literally like i would have to crimp the whole entire wig, like just in a bunch for that one crimp to turn out cute. So i didn't go with the crimp look, but we went ahead. We flat ironed it. I ended up using some spritz to get my bang to sit up high, but the flat iron just looked a lot better for this unit, and hopefully my client likes it, and you know that's just that on. That'S just me me is all right child. So this is how the unit turned out the bang. I didn't want to dramatize it too much while it wasn't on the actual client, because you don't want it to be too high. You know what i'm saying, so i pretty much just left it kind of like scooped over like this. It kind of looks weird, but i promise y'all that install gon na be so far so pretty much. His video was more so just about the coloring, the techniques and things like that. It wasn't like about the style at all, so i hope that you all enjoyed it, and i hope that you appreciate that gym that i gave y'all y'all, try it out. If you do make sure you drop a comment and also follow me on my tick tock y'all, because really i give y'all quick gems over there. So these are for my people who, like you, know their own explanations of things but y'all i'ma go ahead and sign out make sure that y'all follow me on my personal pages as well as my business pages and i hope to see y'all in my next video.
