Hey you guys, it's your girl, simone welcome back to my channel. So today we're going to be watercoloring. This wig that i made um yeah, so we're going to be watercoloring this wig it's going to go from this brassy, yellow orange yellowish color to a cute burgundy color, so stay tuned. I'M going to show you guys, step by step! How i did everything if you haven't already done so make sure you go ahead and subscribe to my channel and get your girl thumbs up comment down below if you got any tips or tricks or any questions for me. Thank you also. When we first get started, the first thing we want to do is secure this lace from any coloring, so we're gon na go ahead and use some gossipy glue and our blow dryer. So i got my blow dryer, don't mind my blow. Dryer y'all i've been having this for years and it gets the job done, and i have my goth to be glue spray. So just the spray and we're gon na go ahead and spray. This lace, i'm gon na, do four layers on it. Just because i like to make sure y'all, when you see it on crunchy and hard i'll, show you guys an example, but look how look now when you see it all crunchy and hard? That'S when you know okay, it's good to go so i'm gon na do four layers and i'm blow dry after each layer and i'm gon na show you guys also. I do go ahead and i spray the whole lace. Even this piece that i am gon na cut off - and i just do that just because just because i just want the whole lace, no color, okay, so we did our first layer and you guys you probably can i don't know if you guys can see it Or not, but the lace is like you could feel it it's really hard but yeah like again, like i said, i'm gon na go over it three more times. Just because i like to be sure so, let's go in and again you don't have to go over. So many times, probably just one or two times, but i again like to be sure, so i might not even do the four. I might just do three, but we'll see how that goes so right now, i'm just brushing the hair out with some with this brush and i'm wetting it with water just so it could get the hair damp. Uh remember i said i do want to get it. A bit damp before i put it um my bad i'm over here before i put it in there, so yeah, that's what i'm doing right now. We just need to brush the top part. Okay, as you guys can see, i went ahead and brushed the hair out. So it's not all puffy and crazy, like it was before it's not super wet, but it's just like brushed out and just i damped it a bit so yeah. This is how it looks when i wet it. It turned to like this. Well, it's still the same. Just this brushy orange color, so let's go ahead and get to the fun part: let's go ahead and fill this bucket up with some water, so we can start dipping this baby and yes, i'm about to put some gloves on y'all. So don't worry about that? Okay, you guys so i got my water filled up. I did not use boiling hot water. I used water for my sink because it gets real hot. So these are the colors that i'm going to be using. Let me go ahead and show y'all. Let me show you how the colors on beauty, so i'm going to be using burgundy, envy and rich amber so yeah, i'm using a door. Let gon na go ahead and take off that and it doesn't even matter what color you put in first. So i'm gon na go ahead. I do have two of each, but i'm gon na go ahead and first start off with these and then see how that goes. If i need more than i'll go ahead and use the rest, but i should just pour it, but i think i might because i do got a lot of water in here, so i might, even if i don't i'll, just use some. I got me a little spoon too, so i can go ahead and stir this up and if you want to get more of it out, you can go ahead and just put it in the water shake it up and then yeah. I did get some on the side, so so we're going to go ahead and just mix this color in let it get all dark. I feel like it's still some more up in here all right, so we let this get all dark and stuff. Now we're going to go ahead and add our next color in all right. So now we're about to add in our rich, amber y'all, see i'll put my gloves on yeah. So first i'm gon na do these and then, if i dip it and it's not coming out the color, i want then i'll go ahead and add the other two bottles. But i'm gon na just do these first, because a lot of people, sometimes even when they be doing like one certain color they'll, do just one bottle, but i just want to make sure that it is getting the color that i needed to get. You know. Let'S go ahead and get this here, go ahead and stir this in so the water is pretty warm, it is more of a hot. You know it's hot because on these gloves it is it's pretty hot, so yeah, my sink water get real hot. I mean you. Could use warm hot, warm water, hot water? It really don't even matter what it do, but it don't don't use no cold water, though all right just because i can see, i want to make sure that i do got it stirred up all the way. So i'm going to keep staring all right and i'm wiping off my hands with these gloves because i am doing a tick tock. At the same time so y'all, i don't drop the wig on the flow all right, so we got the hair before i go in. I'M gon na go ahead and just comb it through one more time, just comb it out a little bit, because when i damped it it did get dry. So let's go ahead and do that now: let's go ahead and start we're going to start off with the ends and then i'm going to go ahead and just dip. It all the way, all right so already. This is a bit too light, so i am going to go at the other colors in because this ain't, the color. This is a bit light. So oh wait, the more i dip it in there. The bottom is getting there. So let me just go ahead and dip this thing up in there and stop playing and let's see before we add the other colors in so don't be, don't be scared. I know you see the lace it's turning, but it's not going um. It'S not gon na stain. Okay, look at the ends yeah, so this is looking like a pinkish color, which i don't want only burgundy, so yeah the roots be like kind of annoying to get so we're gon na make sure we're getting that so yeah we're gon na go ahead because it's Looking pinkish and that's not the color, i was doing so i'm about to go ahead and grab my other um with the ends, i'm mad, because i wish i had a um. I wish i had some black just so i could put a little bit of black over here, but i don't know so yeah, but we're gon na go ahead and add in some more i'm gon na add some more rich amber in it. I mean the burgundy envy all right, so i got my burgundy envy. I'M gon na go ahead and just add some more of this up in here, so good, not the whole thing, but i am going to add a lot now. Let'S go ahead and stir that in and also you want to go ahead and go through it with your fingers, because you can see like some pieces is lighter than the other and that's why? Because you need to separate the hair. So if you got your comb or whatever you could go in with your comb and do that just make sure every piece is getting the color. It'S like you can see. Look. This is lighter. Oh yeah, i can't even see it, but this is lighter and then for some reason the roots always take a little longer to get the color. So that's why we're going to have to dip those roots in again, because, as you guys can see, the roots is really light. I don't know if y'all can see that, but the roots is real light and we don't want that. Okay, see now that i just let it sit like that the roots are getting darker, that's what we want so i'm going through and i'm just combing it with the comb just so i can make sure that it is getting to every piece of the hair i Needed to get in the middle the size because you do not want to go in and real hair dry and then you see like some blonde pieces or some pieces. That'S like super light, so you don't want to go ahead and make sure you're getting it in every piece and see now. Even since i added some more of that burgundy envy, i'm liking the color, it's giving me like i'm getting that burgundy color. I was looking for it, though, all right so right now, i'm just giving it like i'm a giving the hair like a conditioner bath and i'm trying to get this um the hairspray off the lace so yeah, and i'm doing this with some warm water, okay, guys. So i just wanted to come back and show you guys the finishing color see as you can see, the lace was not damaged, um not damaged, but colored, so it's cool or whatever and then look at the color, the hair. It is still dark. I mean it's still wet, so of course, it's going to show dark. This part is really um. It'S dry, the lace dry fast. So, that's why you can see the color more appear, but, as you can see the bottom and even when it's wet, even though it's darker right now, it's still the color that i want. So i'm so happy about that yeah! So y'all stay tuned because i will be doing a video of me installing this wig so stay tuned and then at that point you guys can see the color that it came out to as well again if you're not already doing so make sure y'all go ahead And subscribe to my channel and give your girl a thumbs up. Thank you guys for tuning in
