In my day, but this is the first time I've seen a blonde highlighted wig this tone and this color and I'm really impressed a lot of times. We want this blind sandy highlighted look, but we want it in an ash tone, because you know sometimes the ash tones look better on brown skin rather than gold. But it's really just your preference, but one thing I like about this wig: is it so ashy who, like it's not gold at all so modeling this look today we have my cousin Tammy back in the building. Now she gave me the style idea, so I'm really excited now. This is similar to the one that I did on her, but we're gon na add a little bit of flare to it and, to be honest, Tammy style is just so retro and colorful and 70s 80s 90s, all wrapped up in one. So I'm just really excited whatever she wants me to do. I trust it. If y'all watch my videos, y'all probably heard me say this before, but for the newcomers, I will say that I really like using stocking caps. That'S a little bit darker than my clients complexion, because if it's lighter, I feel like you're, always gon na see it under the lace, no matter what so, if it's a tad bit darker, then I think it just blends and melts so much easier, so advice to All my girls at home, when you order these weights for my youtube videos. Of course, they're gon na look different when y'all check it out the box versus when you watch my videos, because I always pluck in Bleach my wigs before I start recording and I tent it with makeup, which is powder or light liquid foundation. The only lace glue that I use on this channel is liquid lace glue. If you guys want your own bottle, go ahead and head together to grow hair, calm right now, all right, so I can't hide it anymore. If you guys noticed or not, the wig really does not fit that perfectly. So I had to keep some lace on the sideburns just so I had something to glue down in front of her hairline. If I cut all that lace off, then it would have been cut too far back and you would have seen her hair come out the side. So one technique that I have is when the wig is too small. Just keep a little bit more lace on there glue that lace on and figure out how to cover it with some hair later on so now I can take these sideburns and cover up that lace and really disguise it. Well all right, let's get into this swoop! All right, one thing I don't like to say is I've been seeing so many stylists on Instagram, execute this style and I'm so proud. I loved everyone's versions of it, and one thing that I can say that I think will help people's execution of the style is when you are laying this hoop down. I use got to be glue in between the hair right, not just on top, because when you get it in between, you can really make the hair lay flat from the inside out. So, whatever you're using to layer swoops whether it be gel foam whatever just make sure you're parting the hair, applying the product and then call me through all the hair, not just the top all right now, y'all can see that lace. I was talking about from earlier. All right now, it's time to finish this and I'm not going to stop smoothing and combing until it is perfect all right, the perfect shape all right. I don't want no lumps no, no waves. No, nothing perfect! That'S what we're aiming for perfection! You all right! So now that we're done, I'm gon na put some foam on the top. Just so the black wrap doesn't get stuck to the hair okay um. These highlights, though, boy stop alright. So now we're going to use our flyaway chamber to make the top nice and flat all right all right, all right, all right all right. Let'S start these flips now I will admit that these flips really intimidate me a little bit. It'S like I'm not used to doing them, but you know I'm never going to turn down a challenge all right so now to make the flips look neater, I'm going to actually sculpt it with some spritz. So the thing that actually made me nervous is I'm used to doing flips on hair that sits above the shoulder like true Bob Lin, but this is like it falls lower. So I'm like would flip pray.
