Perfect Summer Bob Wig Install | Alipearl Hair

Hey guys welcome to my channel, my name is fatima, and today's video we're going to be installing this bob unit, which is from ali pearl hair. Thank you so much to ali pearl for sponsoring today's video. They sent me a 14 inch, bob wig that i got like this short. It was a long process. I kind of messed up the cut at one point, but i definitely pulled it together, as you guys can see. So if you guys are interested in seeing how i got my hair to look like this, then stay tuned, okay guys. So this is what the wig looked like when i first got it so i just straighten it. I hot comb, the top of it and i did bleach enough and pluck the frontal - and this is what it's looking like. This is a 14 inch bob, so it's quite long um but yeah. I wanted my bob to be quite short, so i was like going to cut it down to the length that i wanted, and this was approximately the length that i wanted for myself. I did give myself a little bit of leeway, so i cut it a little bit longer than i thought i wanted it at, and so i used my dad's clippers and just went around as you guys saw. I put i sectioned my hair, so i started in the back and then did one side and then the other, and then when i was done with cutting the hair, it wasn't perfectly straight, but i still wanted to try the wig on before i continued cutting. So when i put the wig on this is what it ended up. Looking like it was not straight at all whatsoever, as you guys can see, the cut looks horrible. So what i think happened here is, i just didn't place the wig properly on the dome head. When i was cutting it, and so once i put it on my head, um it just the the cut just ended up looking super jacked, so i placed the wig more forward on the dome head and then i started cutting the wig that way. At this point, i had to cut off so much more hair because obviously it has to be a straight cut, and so i was determined to make this wig look good, no matter what i had to do. I mean i kind of had to make a video about this unit. I couldn't just like leave the wig alone, because this video had to come out in the end. I just placed the wig more forward on the dome head, because i think it was just too backwards on the dome head when i was cutting it originally, and i cut a straight line that way, as you guys can see, the wig is like a lot more Shorter now, but it actually ended up working out for me um and i wasn't mad at the length like i i don't mind, having really really short hair. So in the end i was like you know what this actually does, not look that bad, hey, guys. Okay, so this is what the wig is looking like now, as you guys can see it's very short, it's giving dora right now, like definitely giving dora. I tried to bump the ends a little bit um yesterday evening. You can kind of see on this side. This side kind of lifted back up, but i fixed it pretty well in the sense that this wig is like cut straight enough. However, this is definitely shorter than i wanted, but this is what it looks like, so we're gon na have to work with it. I still feel like i can make this look good. It just needs like some work, we're gon na start off with installing the units i am going to cut the ear tabs off as usual. The next step is to glue this wig down, i'm going to be using my bold hold to glue this down, so the glue has mostly dried down. So what i'm going to do is go in and cut up all of the excess lace using my eyebrow razor. So i'm done gluing down this wig is pretty much glued down. The lace is not really melting, however, this is not hd lace, but i should still be able to. You know melt this lace a little bit, so we're going to go in with some evan wunderlich spray, i'm going to go over this lace and then tie it down with an elastic band in the hopes that i can you know, melt this lace more because right Now it's not it's not looking cute and just apply it, and i'm just gon na wait for this to really like dry down before i go in with any styling. I want to complete like the baby hairs and all of that so we're just gon na wait. It out okay, so let's take this elastic band off. Okay, now that these baby hairs are done, i'm just gon na leave them, as is as for these hairs, i'm not gon na cut them down. I'M just gon na leave them like like this. I feel, like that's, really really cute now we're gon na part, my hair down the middle, so i tied my baby hairs down one last time and then now i'm gon na go in and start bumping the ends. I already told you guys that i did bump the ends previously, but i'm just gon na go in and redoing it, so everything can be nice and fresh. I want the bumps to be like pronounced. I want it to be like a c. This is the final result. I actually really like the way this turned out granted the baby hairs. I might need to fix this a little bit more and i definitely was able to pull this together, because if you guys remember how this looked in the beginning, when i messed up the cut, i was like. Oh my god. What am i gon na do so? I think this is really cute.
