This is honestly the best bub wig i have been sent, or i have ever worn. It has movement, it is not too thick and the hair texture is absolutely incredible. I love love, love this bob, it's giving olivia pope vibes, like you, know professional girl, but also there's like a fun side to it, because it's like make me move honey. Then there's this little envelope and inside it tells me about the cash back. This is what the hair looks like it's nice and full bob. It'S got body it's not too thin, and it is a 4x4 closure wig with three combs for you to secure with. So today's video is going to be a little different because i'm not going to actually talk you through me installing the hair, but instead i'm going to share some of the information of how i got into doing wig reviews on youtube. I'M sharing this information because well i get this question a lot and i thought i would just share how i got into this line. So here is a passion for me, but also if you live in south africa, then you know that wigs and things are very, very much expensive in our country, but also the quality is quite lacking. But anyway, for me getting started. Was i just wanted to expand? My wig knowledge i wanted to explore different rig textures, but um. The coin was a bit restricted, so i started watching other people's reviews and i came across videos on youtube that told me that you could approach um, hair companies and i did approach a few companies when i started on youtube, but i got rejected so after a Few weeks of being rejected, i tried again and then one company said they would like to work with me, and i started working with that company like on a monthly basis. They would send me wigs and i would film the reviews now. Wig reviews don't really get a lot of views on youtube but um. When i discovered that when you're following grows, then the companies will start offering you like a sponsorship fee or a fee for doing the video, but also you can decide to sell the wig because there's no use in me keeping so many wigs. So, that's why i have the wig sales, because already i had a lot of wigs and now i've got this influx of wigs. Coming in my advice to somebody who wants to get into big reviews is approach the companies, but also, once you start doing, reviews you need to be very honest. I do have a few weeks that were sent that were poor quality that i never even bothered to put on my channel anymore, because i think i've built like a community of trust people trust my recommendations and people buy the hair from the companies that i review. So i don't want to betray that trust by lying and saying. Hair is good when it is not i'm very, very fussy about hair quality and yeah. I think being honest. You need to be honest, all the time and when you start charging you need to like charge high, because um working with these companies, i've learned that they will try and negotiate your fee down. So if you start very high, then it gives you room for when they negotiate and you can still get like a good fee. The next thing i'm going to talk about is how do they actually get a hold of you? So if you have a youtube channel, if you have instagram or any other form of social media wherever you're trying to get to do these reviews, you need to leave your email address. So i have my email address in my description box and i also have it on the about page of my youtube. So companies will then watch my other videos and because of the quality of the work that i do on my other videos, then they'll be interested and they will send me an email once you say they send you an email. They will give you a list of wigs that you can choose from and from that list you will choose what you like, and then you will go into this contract that they have they'll. Tell you the requirements, how long the video needs to be? How many pictures, if they want to real and and and and then you will agree and once you agree, then they ask you for the shipping information and the wig gets shipped to you. So this next tip is for paid or unpaid collaborations with wig companies. So when they send you a wig when they send the agreement normally, this is not in the agreement. Um, you need to include it ask them to include it that the shipping cost or the customs cost they need to cover that. So what will happen is if the wig gets any customs that you need to pay for clearance. You will pay it out of your pocket and then you send them a proof of payment, and then they will refund you via paypal. I'Ve just mentioned paypal. Paypal is the way they prefer to make payments. It'S very easy to set up. You can set up a paypal account with your email address and create your paypal link. Then in south africa you can link your paypal account to your fmb account. Then you can easily transfer funds from paypal to fmb and from fmb back to paypal. Another thing i think you need to know is: if they say your fee is 200, then when it comes into paypal, paypal is going to deduct a fee. So normally, when i charge my week review video fees, i always add an additional five dollars, because i wanted to cover the the service fees from paypal, and that is just another tip that i wanted to share. So i think i've covered the basics of how i got into the wig review game and also i have shared some tips and tricks on how i operate that could potentially help other people.
