So i was on tick, tock, scrolling i'll post the video here and this girl was like. Oh there's this human hair, um wig, it's a bob, it's 10 inches and it's only, i believe, 34 or 37. I will put the correct amount here, but i was curious. I was like you know it's not too expensive. If it was 50, i would have said no. Thank you ma'am. No, thank you. I was like. Oh you know. If you've been following me for a while, if you're new here i did get a cut a haircut, let me just rip off the band-aid, so i got a haircut june june 16th, so mid-june of this year, 2021 and my hair has been growing back so right Now i just have a slit back with some nairobi. Foaming foam foaming lotion. So it's a lotion. That'S used! It'S a foam within a solution. You know what i mean, but it's used for textured hair, especially for short hair to mold the hair to be able to like curl the hair straighten. The hair is something that i use for years, because every four years i get the urge to chop. All of my hair off so nairobi - and i are like this - i actually own the full size, um salam bottle, because it was just cheaper on amazon, actually one of my first tutorials. If it's not the first one on my channel, i was doing a wash and go with the nairobi when my hair was longer and it's chef's kiss because it gives you you know structured curls. But i like volume and a little bit of frizz. But anyway, i'm rambling on so i got the wig. So this is my hair. I'Ll show you the back. I can do a ponytail, but i don't want to cause that tension so i'll just have that i'm gon na get the wig cap. I got this from the beauty supply store. This was 1.99, so we're just gon na do that. If you see me looking off to the side, i'm just looking at a mirror. Okay, now i've worn synthetic wigs before, but never a human hair wig. Just simply because i bought one was, and i really messed up the knots with bleach, but you know so the wig came inside of this nice bag. I will also link it down below and it came in. You know your regular plastic container with a paper frame wrapped in a hair net, with some tissue paper to keep the structure of the wig intact, so it came with that they also sent. I didn't know they were going to do this, but maybe i did i didn't read the description they sent two wig caps. These are mesh, wig caps says side. Control makes one size fits all. I have a pretty big head like i think my head is like 23 inches. I think the average is 21 or 22 and they sent me a rat tail comb. So two i thought that was really nice and total. If i'm not mistaken, let's go on to the amazon order. Oh by the way, only took two days to ship - and this is being filmed today - is december 23rd um, as i mentioned in prior videos or if you're new. Here i am dominican, i'm a dominican american and we celebrate our christmas on the 24th culturally because we cook we eat. We stay up all night, then it's 12 o'clock. So it's the 25th. We open up gifts and the 25th we're just eating leftovers and watching movies. At least that's what we do in my dominican american household um. So yes, so this is called the short bob human hair, wigs by g finash, store 10 inches. It was 38 dollars and yes, let's get into it. So i know i'm going to do a little work to it, um because i did open it up yesterday when i got it on the 22nd. So this is the wig she you know density-wise. I do know about hair like um, wigs and stuff density. She is not that thick, but she is full. She does have bangs, which i haven't had bangs since i was like 10., so i'm excited and also i didn't want to deal with the plucking and the bleaching of the knot. As you can see here, there's just like a full-on closure like there's no scarf, and this is the inside, as you can see so yeah, let's put her on and then i will show you how i tweak it because i feel like i want to put some Like loose curls and maybe cut the bangs all right here, we go y'all. Oh, this is cute when i tried it on yesterday. It did not look like this. This is really cute yesterday. I just threw it on no wig cap. No nothing! So you know it was like bulky um the good thing about um. Like you see all my weird girls like. Maybe this needs to go here there. So do i want to cut the wig, i'm not going to cut this, but maybe like the bangs, it's cute. What do we think? Let me turn around. What do we think i think she's cute the bangs? We have to do something with because in general i hate hair on my face touching my eyes but, like i said i did not want to deal with concealer and bleaching knots and concealing and all that other stuff. I said concealer twice todora, but yes, so now, i'm gon na go silent. I'Ll, do a voice over over me trying to customize my first human hair, wig brb, alright! So, let's style this girl, i'm just here spraying some tresemme heat protectant spray, i'm first going in with a one inch flat iron. Like i said, i haven't straightened my hair in such a long time. I do uh wash and set. You know a few times a year, but since my hair is not long enough, i really don't know what the hell i'm doing right here. So here, i'm just using a one of those clipless curling wand things i'm trying to do a beach wave. So i'm just trying my best to create these waves first with the flat iron, then, with the clipless curl thing, i'm spraying, the spray that i have is non-alcoholic it says, has no alcohol, but it's supposed to give you like a flexible hold here. I'M just doing the front, i'm not liking how this is turning out and then i turn to the bangs, because i really didn't want to cut them because i guess scissor happy. This is what the banks look like, and this is what we have so far. My beachy waves, it's been such a long time since i've straightened hair, i'm not liking that choppiness in the back. It'S looking very synthetic-ish, don't like it. So here i'm just trying on the wig and you can see the look on my face. I'M like danora yeah. I'M sorry yeah this. This was not it trying to fix it. I don't know. I feel, like the only part that i like is the bangs. So here i'm just straightening it just the front to see if i like it and as you can tell i do so, i just straighten the rest of the wig i'll come right back. I like this side, better, we'll be right back okay, so i'm back. I didn't cut the bangs, i just pushed the wig back now. I don't know what that looks like, let's do a 360.. So this is the back. I wasn't feeling the curls, so we just did straight. I did bump the bangs a little bit. I like it and i'm going to be wearing it to christmas dinner now on the hair itself. It did shed a little bit and turn off this hot iron. Before i melt my desk - and this is what came out of the wig - not too bad for 38 - it's super soft, it doesn't smell. I used a 420 um degree setting on the flat iron. I just did one pass. It'S a very good quality wig, i'm still trying to figure out this part here, but i think it looks good. What do you guys think like in the mirror? It gets a little like. Maybe if i added like a little bit more volume, but i like it like one of my like taglines and things that i'm known for, like my friends, call call me and my cousins and even my mom at this point. They call me the rich auntie and i feel like this is giving very much like rich auntie on my way to the airport i'm gon na go jet set somewhere. I like it and the bangs. Well, you know so i was like okay, i could wear it like this or i can even like tuck it behind the ear. I did pull a little of my hair of my hair up, but my hair is coarse and curly. The only downside so far i'll come and do a little review after i wear it for 24 hours. So it's the next day, i'm on my way to my aunt's house, as you can tell, the bump did not last on the bang, which is okay. It flattened out a little bit, but for 38 dollars. I think this wig is very cute. You can put it on. You can go to the gym with it. It'S not too tight. I have a big head and it's big head friendly. I forgot to mention that, but yeah it's hot and scarf worthy, definitely worth 30 bucks. Will you give it a try um? I wish the texture was more, that it was yaki, because that would be very, very close to my hair texture when it's straight, where, where it's still coarse and thick, but it lays flat like this is. This is silky like it's very silky, very soft. I just wish i had a bit more texture, more yakky, but yes, i like it. I also put some of this verb: ghost dry oil. These are some of the products that i tried during the panini last year, um during the when was there a big sale april 2020. I got this. They had a little bit left over. I would use this um on my second day of my wash and go. I really love this. The smell is delicious and also it would like keep my roots and my scalp moisturized. So it's a dry oil. So it's not like oil slick, but i was just putting some on. It says that it's meant to: where is it so this dry oil is meant to extend blowouts condition, ends and adds shine and prevent damage from washing and sliding the gentle moringa oil infused formula instantly absorbs into the hair to eliminate tangles and add a fresh scent To the hair all day - and i can attest to that because my hair smells like it's just like very light: it's not floral, it's clean like clean linen, but it smells so good and the dry oil.
