Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so today i'm going to be installing a highlighted wig by mega look hair. So the first things. First, i'm actually going to do a ball cap. Y'All know i don't do ball caps, but today i am going to be doing one because the lace on this wig is transparent. I'M not a huge fan of transparent laces. I just don't feel like they milk the same as hd laces, but usually with colored wigs. The lace is most likely transparent, so i'm using my olive oil wig grip gel to do my stocking cap. Normally, i would just use the spray, the super hole, spray and just spray this on my hairline, but i just feel like with the gel you're able to get like the exact spot, where your hairline is and be able to cut it a lot easier. So i'm just putting it all over my hairline and then i'm just cutting out these little pieces on my ear to pull my ear out and then i just blow dry that until it's completely dry, i like to use my dyson. This dyson has just came in such handy whenever it comes to my wigs. It just dries everything so quick and i just love it so now, i'm just cutting off the stocking cap and i'm cutting as close to my hairline as possible and make sure you use good, sharp scissors when you do this, because these scissors, which is not giving And then i'm going to take a little bit more of that gel in my comb and i'm just going to put it on like the um, the body part of the comb and i'm just laying down the excess piece. That'S on the stocking cap so that it just completely melts into my skin. So this is what the wig looks like. It is highlighted - and i'm going to be using this fancy beauty bronzer in the shade coconutty in my little real techniques brush, and i'm just going to put this all over the lace with the back of the lace to help the color blend better with my skin. One thing about transparent laces: they kind of have like a white tinge to it, and i just don't like that, but you got to make the best of it and just add your little makeup so that it just you know it blend a little bit better. So then, i just took a little gel for some reason. I didn't get this on camera and i just put it at the top for some reason, this wig gave me the hardest time. I think that this wig is just a little bit too big for my head because it was like scrunching up at the top like it's just. It was like too much lace on the wig. I don't know how to explain it, but i don't know if they sent me a large wig instead of a medium, but i just had the hardest time with this wig, but i made it work. Okay, i made it work and that's all that matter. So i'm just going to take a little bit more of the olive oil wig group gel and i'm just putting this on the other side of my head and i blow dry it on a warm setting. And then i just go ahead and i place the lace into the gel and then i use my comb and i kind of just comb. The lace back and just um melt the lace into my skin as good as i can, and then i take the blow dryer again on a cool setting to make sure that it completely dries. I like to use it on a cool setting, because that just helps to take like make the gel not turn white and then i'm just going to go ahead and pull some of my baby hairs out. I don't know if i mentioned, but i already installed this wig y'all and i ended up taking it off because i didn't like how it looked like. I just wasn't feeling it so i'm installing it again and i already had some baby hairs from when i already installed it. So i'm just pulling those out and then hot combing them down to separate it from the rest of the hair. And then i'm going to take the real star of the show, this evan wonder: lace, adhesive spray, specifically the black one, heavy on the black one, i'm just going to spray this all along my hairline. This is just going to give it that melt. That extra hold this is just what's going to bring the wig completely together. Y'All gon na see y'all gon na see the before and you're gon na see this after and i just tied it down with an elastic band now to lay this wig down, make it super flat. I'M taking my shears bomb wax stick and my index hot comb. This is andy's. How come i got this from walmart and i am using it on the highest setting. I always mention this, but if y'all don't have a hot comb and you do wigs girl, you need to go get one. Hot comb is going to be your best friend whenever you install a wig, so i'm just laying this way down, making it as flat as possible, because i love a good flat wig. So i let that elastic band sit for about 10 minutes and y'all. Look at this do y'all see this melts check out the before go back check out the before and then check out the after do y'all see the difference, i'm still not a fan of the transparent lace, but that oven can melt anything. And that's that's all that matters so then i'm just cutting some more of these baby hairs off, because i added a little bit extra than what i did yesterday um and then i'm taking this pencil flat iron. I got this from amazon and i'm just curling the baby hairs upward. This is just going to help make them actually land the baby hairs a lot easier, and it's just going to put them right in a place. So i'm just curling them upward my sideburns as well, then i'm going to take this olive oil. Super haul faces spray in this little edge, brush edge comb thingy and i'm just going to lay my baby hairs y'all. This is actually my first time installing, like a frontal wig, not a closure, because i've been rocking the hell out of my closures, because i love me a closure. But this is my first time installing, like a frontal wig in almost like three months like well, not even almost it's been three months, so i was a little. You know. I don't know it was a little hard for me. It was a little difficult because i kind of forgot how to install a wig a little bit, not even gon na lie, but it turned out fine. I do think i over plucked this wig just a little bit um, but for the most part the wig turned out decent. It'S definitely not my favorite wig install i'll just be honest with y'all i like to keep it real, but it was still cute at the end of the day, then i'm gon na hot comb, my edges back just to give it like that nice perm, the look And just make it look super sleek and clean, and then i'm going to take a little bit more of that bronzer and just kind of swipe it across the hairline a little bit just to help it blend better with my skin and then i'm taking my la Girl pro concealer - and this is in the shade fun - this is the same concealer that i will use on my face and i'm just tracing the hairline just to make the hairline super straight. Okay, also, this is the end of the video and i really hope you guys enjoyed it so this week actually gave me a really hard time. This is my second time installing it and i still had some troubles. I don't know if it's because of the week itself, i don't know if the week is too big or it's because i just haven't installed a wig, a lace front wig in over two months, probably like three months now. So it's been a long time. You know i've been wearing my closures, but i decided to do me a little lace front today and it turned out really cute. I love the color. I love the length out of this 26 inches and yeah. It'S just so freaking cute if y'all are interested in purchasing this wig. This is a mega look hair and this is their highlighted wig in 26 inches. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did don't forget to like comment and subscribe.
