Super Sleek Bob | Long To Short Wig Transformation + Summer Install Ft.Nadula Hair

Hey cuties welcome back to the channel. Your girl voice is back, and i'm so excited because i was down and out for a little bit, but today i'm actually going to be installing this really cute bob that i created and the hair that i'm using to create this bob on is from the doula Hair, i will link all of their information in the description box below. If you guys are interested my thoughts about the hair, i feel like i definitely needed to cut it to get its full potential showing i just do the basics you already know got to be glue, comb pressing, really, really important. It'S really one of my favorite techniques. Now, when it's time to install a wig, because it just makes your wigs like melt into that into that forehead, really really good girl as long as you're placing your lace where it needs to be obviously not too close to your eyebrows and not too far back So it's hitting on your little baby hairs! Okay, alright! So let's get into this cut, you guys so grab your favorite pair of sheers. If you have really thick hair wet your hair damp, it girl, don't you don't have to soak it but dampen it before you go in and cut the hair. I usually do that, but because this density was not really full, i felt like i could actually get away with it. So section your hair off in four sections and what you want to do is just take the front sections and help guide you towards the back sections. If that makes sense, so i like to take the front half cut it to where i want my bob to be and bring in the back section just to ensure that it's even throughout your whole, head girl. Now you don't have to make sure it's super super perfect. I like to cut the back sections longer than the front sections, because i always like to have room to work with versus you, cutting it too short and it ain't going to grow because it's on a wig sweetheart me all righty rose. So i'm just removing my velvet scarf. This is one of my favorite things to help lay down my lace to make sure it's melting as much as it needs to melt. But i do want to let you guys know when i say that you don't have to do your cut. Perfect is because you're going to go in and straighten it you're going to be able to see all the little straggly strands that are just in the way. Trying to ruin your life and you're going to be able to just cut it really really smooth, and even when your hair is straightened. So, as you can see, i'm taking my flat iron and just pressing the hair out using a rat tail comb that i actually got from sally's beauty supply store and i'm just going to ensure that this bob is just sleek as much as i can sleek it. Okay, this is like my favorite part when i'm doing the bob i like to use heating protection, serums or sprays i'll list, the two that i'm using in the description box below it's the btz one from sally's, and i also use fantasia heating protectant from walgreens. So yeah those two products definitely work. I use them kind of towards the end of the video versus in the beginning, because i don't really like to put too too much product on my hair. So when it's time for me to use it, then i use it but section your hair off really really good. So you really don't have to like you know count on those products, because this flat iron will definitely do the job with all the extra. But because you want that shine because it is a bob and you want it to move, you definitely need that moisture or that, like heat and protecting serum, just to bring that life to the hair, so it can move and sway, like you want it to. So i really feel like, like i said before, i brought this hair to life. I freaking plucked this out of this out of this lace front y'all, this lace front was thick okay thick. I was kind of upset about it a little bit because i was just like what like, i thought. We was giving the girls pre-plucked vibes and it really wasn't, given that i had to bleach the knots girl and all that good stuff. Now i do want to let you guys know the top half of your bob is so crucial. You'Ll probably be over straightening your hair, but it's short hair, so you really shouldn't be, but i know how it can get, especially if you're doing your whole entire install. But make sure you make really really small sections at the top half, so you can get a really flat flat bob now, let's work smarter now harder, just take smaller sections to begin with, and of course, if you have a flat hole, i said a flat comb. If you have a hot comb, pull that bad boy out and make sure you get up in there and even if you have to remove some of that density in the top half of your part. Please do so because it's just going to give you a really really flat bob and it's going to make your bob look more realistic than if you don't do any of those steps. Okay, so we're all about realistic vibes over here. Okay, so we need you to get with the program. I also use this black hairspray just to close up my part, because that's super important for me, especially if i'm going for a middle part, but also pluck it and add that foundation powder or any loose powder that you have that mimics your scalp complexion. Just so you can have a super natural hairline, so i'm gon na redo some steps, i'm gon na press, it out add the heating protectant serum, i'm going to add a little bit of holding spray at the top trim, my little um extra flyaways and remove that Extra lace with the eyebrow razor and i'm just going to take a little bit of holding spray just to ensure that the lace is still laying as flat as possible, and then i am going to get dressed and that's pretty much it y'all.
