Wig Talk Wednesday! Synthetic Bob Styles By Jon Renau, Rene Of Paris And More!

We'Re on YouTube, I don't know their own face. I get in hi guys. Yes, it's that time again. Can you believe it? Everybody can hear us. We have a SHOP full of people, so we'll try to kind of speak loudly, yeah, so um today. One thing to do: plastic box: we get a lot. I got an email this week asking us I'm wearing this Bob. What would be a good alternative? I just what I have a little bit of a change, so we're going to do. We just show you not just classic, though really we decided to they just like even do some of the more updated version like what I have on. I mean this yeah. This is ignite by Jean Renault she's got Yvonne, Eve's asymmetrical and it's still a bomb. I mean because when I you should think of Bob, I keep saying love network anyway, we're having technical issues, but when I think of in Bob, I always thought of that. What Dutch boy we're gon na start with something keep in mind these styles and are for everybody, namely us. So when you look at them, just think of you know yourself in mind, because I'm not that much of a thing person, but we decided it's not about it's, not about the wigs. It'S usually about me. I try to make, but we're just gon na have fun and we're just gon na kind of take our time and talk about him, and these are what has sold good for us. And obviously you know it's not to say that there aren't. You know other Bob's out there that aren't great, and but this is what sold well for us and if you wear a bob and you're a bob person and just comment and tell us, you know hey, I really you know I learned this styling. It may be something you do that we have that we could like highlight, or maybe possibly a jar collection yep. Absolutely I'm just comment once you wear and even put a picture, it doesn't even better if you get a picture. We'D love pictures. We love hearing from our customers. We love hearing what you've done with your wigs. If you customized, I don't in any way or any ideas, we'd love that yeah and if you can't hear us just call me and sorry like I said it's kind of crazy in here this morning, but anyway, let's get started. Okay. This was Kim her mom is Mimi who started the shop. This was her. I think her favourites, everybody, everybody got Cory, yeah everybody's, a gay man. It didn't matter if they were like long in the back, curly pixie cut short. They look at this week because she works for people, so this is binary. Co Cory cor. Why yeah? I don't know if I've had this, we gone and probably like, eight or ten years. So just a short, so this is kinda cute yeah! I don't know if you can hear her with her turned around, but she's talking about it has a little stack and back and that typically is really hard for most people to achieve with their own hair. So that's one feature this way that people just absolutely love the other feature. I think that people love is the fact that it's got a light. Bang, it's not a heavy bang, so it's pretty would speak it's cute act and hey. I mean this shape of the stack kind of lends to that. If you tack a lot yeah, I always have a piece behind my ear. Yeah just know: okay, let's talk about what colors do we have on okay, these are colors. If you look for Cory by Noriko, you'll never find these colors because we had especially made for us and we're a little spoiled by our manufacturers, and so they kind of do whatever we ask them to, or this company does anyway. So these are two of our best selling colors and they're. Other styles I have on chocolate, frost are and then Kim has on creamy toffee are, and so we decided since Cory was a best seller and we needed to add some good color. So we actually added three new colors. We added the two that we have on and Mochaccino are, which is just like a mint and like a dark blonde Cory Cory. Just the normal line of Cory does not come in any real color. So it's all you know your blonde, just not going to the room and your Browns are not going to have a rate so that we saw that as a whole for manufacture. So we decided we fill it yeah. I think they just what I call their classic. Color collection, you know, and they have a couple that are kind of highlighted a little. You know like the pecan Brown, nothing really kind of streaky or you know - and this wig comes on two colors - that they don't make very many other styles. It comes in caramel corn, it comes in gold, so if you wear those colors and medium brown and medium so where's Cory. You know if you put this on in my really dark chocolate bikini you could or like the headband. This would be a great length laughing yeah, really he was blond. I want to be on the Great Gatsby. I was talking to my mom yesterday about this wig and she said I hope it's cream on color. That is door state. That'S just hot your eyes. It is they used to make you remember the one that they made. A variation of this was Sydney and it was about the length of this, but it kind of had a little bit of layering, so that really did with my Doris Day, because she had that rule fool yeah, which I love don't know. I work for myself. It'S just it just works for a whole lot of people all right. What are we doing? Next, let's go to Ellen okay Ellen is by Aesthetica it's kind of the next step of classic Moss. It doesn't have the stack, but it does have bang. I don't even know what color I'm putting on six twelve, I think yeah. It'S so maybe is definitely a longer bang. Oh I'm sorry Kim you're, not in camera. Oh I'm, not hey! Peggy Peggy! You came in. I wasn't here. I heard you look. Super super cute way: you left it yes and that whipped berry. She didn't wear it out. Oh, she didn't know she just passing in our it's cute. Okay, this, if I were gon na, go to a bob for me. First of all, the caps more comfortable. So I would probably go with this person story and the bank's longer the banks longer and for me it's just heavier, it does the back. It'S a little, maybe a tiny stack. I mean it. This is the epitome of classic Bob to me. Yeah agree so, and if you wanted, you could wear it down or you had more of a straight thing. You just have to trim it a little. I like this color just in six with the little highlight what sorry we're being patient off-screen yeah, oh goodness, anyway, this is cute and I have on 1226 Artie Florence Yolanda says something in black. Are you do you wear this in black, the Ellen aesthetic? Or was it the quarry? Yes, I think in black. That is definitely the with this. This is just cute, though this is a really versatile style for a lot of different people. I mean unless you have like a super round tights, which I have a very round face, and but where it hits its it's a good Lane. The quarry, I think, was a little bit shorter and it didn't work well from my round face well and see. I think the quarry works better for me because it was a little bit shorter. This length, I think, makes me look like big round things. It doesn't it's cute. It'S cute. I like these things, I'm not a vain person, but when I put a wig on with things like this, it almost makes me want to cut things yeah, alright, good. So, what's next umm you pay cuz, I put it straight up with a twist I'll show you the dress, yeah. I actually had this wig on. I liked this wig and I put it on and I have it in red. I think I had it on a couple weeks ago. You did, I remember I, I wear it in deepest Ruby and today, I'm just gon na put on just sunlit chestnut, which is just like a medium brown and I'm going to put on cappuccino, which is shadow Shh, I'm 22. So it does have a dark, hydrant root. This is good for people who don't wan na bang coach a lot of Bob people. Don'T do bangs either trim. So this one held us a beautiful job, a brighter color at the front, so that that lace blends in really nicely with your skin tone for the dark eyes: hi, Jordan Porter. How are you so? This is yeah. This is now this and we talked to last week. I get cookies on fibre. This wig is a heat, defiant fiber and I don't think we've ever occurred it. I don't know why you would, I don't know yeah it works the way it is, and I love how to show you the back soul. It again not really stache, but not really just plain. It'S got some interesting things going on the back. I love it. I do I mean I said I haven't read and this color is very natural Brown, for anybody wants to know this so much chestnut rl10. 1012 yeah Jordan likes this one. She likes the volume, says yeah, it does have a good volume and that's why this has been one of our best sellers, because you can get it out here versus so much up here, because it is hand tied so and the bang always hang as good. I'Ve said this a thousand times. I don't have a very big forehead, so a lot of times the lace runs are hard for me, but this one comes away from my floor networks. I, like you, I like it what's next, okay, I picked this time. Let'S see, we did a whole video dedicated just epic, and so we probably won't stay long on this one, but this is one of our new wings. This is actually yeah the only one we just have a lot of ways, adding any wind, sometimes a process. For us. We carry over 150 different styles, so this is almost like trade with the twist just longer and I'll basically bring in the fiber. But it's got just see. There is a few little fake New Year's Pam's here, the other Pam with you Pam yeah. We did a whole this, this moisture suit. You know actually said like this, because this is good. It'S just good, just a good wig it just it works for totally people. It'S not good volume. You can. If you don't like a lot of volume, you can get it pretty flat. It'S a great style and I've got on a good Morgause by GL. So it's a GL for eight, which is just a good rich brown. I mean you know what I have on. I have on the G the S the GL 1526 ss, what they call their butter toast as a little another thing about their shadow. Shade is the roots not very prominent, and I like that, a lot yeah. This is like a natural blonde that had kind of hates a dishwater color when I went in got highlights, and so it's got that root the same color of what a medium blonde would be. I did you all right. Next: okay, I'll look through the Domino's okay, okay Christy: this is Christy from Jabra. Now I'm gon na be putting it on in 8:32. This is a 100 % hand tight. They have um to me Kristin and Christy, always gon na mix it because they're really close to the same thing once just lace fried machine-made and one is just um, hey Jonathan. What is he talkin about? Why there looks like it's out of this lon color-wise you're right Jordan? Does it technically? Is I like this way? I like the layers for me, it's if you're familiar with the John and are lined this wig is a little bit shorter than Cameron. Kalin'S also want to have % hand tied, but it's just a little bit longer so Christy, it's just shorter when you're the day elizabeth bought this the other day, yeah. No, no, I was she came in and she we were in a really pretty red highlight and it was just weird out. She'S like this is my new look, I created thank you for joining us again this week. I love our regular. I know so anyway. This is, it's got the lace front like she said: 20 % fully hand tied. So it's got all the bells and whistles he's got the monofilament top. The cap is comfortable Church classic genre, no comfort cap. Of course, their lace is smart lace. It'S a patented term. It only refers to a John were no wig. So when you talk about smart lace, that is John Burroughs beautiful design on the lace friends I feel like sometimes we've talked about the person hand tied running smaller. This is comfortable. I guess it's first time I studied online. I actually may consider getting this. It is comfortable. It coats covers more on the sides which typically that when I'm just the hand tied, I have a really big problem, getting all the way down to the back nope. So this is a little bit longer more classic looking. So it's just how I like this. Why have you not ever told me to put this wig on? Oh well, it doesn't matter, you don't do it. I do anyway, so it is not true. You not eat a cookie cookie, that's true, okay, we're gon na talk about, and this is Cody from amore right and they make Cody into different capsules, though right they make Cody and Cody XO Cody XO is their line that they've designed for alopecia patients. So it's got its got the really nice stretchy cap, so it feels like a ten tide, but you can see it's actually web sewn, so you get the benefit of anti for comfort. No, but you don't get the cost that goes along with that. So, typically, a fully hand-tied synthetic wig is that you're going to start at 450 and go up from there and Cody not anywhere close to that, and that's these little silicone pieces to so that, if you you use, maybe some double-sided tape you could take to that Or it just has a little bit more grip. So if you don't have any hair at all, it would probably just grip to your scalp better and without using any kind of tape or anything, and maybe that oh yeah she's saying that she comes by her hardheadedness. Honest who's that Jordan, Jordan, actually saying, I'm hard-headed y'all know just don't know. Okay, I speaking of this cat, which we didn't cover. We kind of covered this in our cap. Construction, video - I don't know how well this is doing to them, but it seems like it might be a little warm and yeah it's not gon na be it's not gon na have the breathability that the open cat system is going to have, and you know this Mesh is thicker than like they're, the one I have on all right. I don't know I don't I don't push it well, sometimes forget that we had it because um it just works. So here's here's what I'm about to put on here's, the Cody and the original state, so it comes with the monofilament top - does not have lace front. It has the open cap system, so you see the open web. So when you have an open web system like that, you can literally stick your fingers through. So you get a lot more breathability for your scalp, so yeah, it's gon na be cooler than the exo. So you know you kind of have to have a reason to wear them so because otherwise you would choose the we chose to put it on in the same exact color, just to see if it hangs any different cuz we've never done it because, typically, when they Change the cap, construction on a style, something always changes. It'S never exactly the same way. So this that we're both have Mochaccino are on, which is a nice medium brown. With some highlights, it's got a dark, hydrant root, you'll be like you're, saying it kind of looks the same. Does it I mean I feel, like I look like you, I thought my bang is not a bang as flatter yeah, so I'm that made you speak from the box. I don't think it's really from the cat construction, because the difference is only or I couldn't hear at the top. This is the I mean this typically has a flat flat, bang and so people that want that flat banging on it, sweep it over like so much on the back, because this one has these cute its little wispies down the neck. That looks like it has a really good stacked, neckline cut into it. So that's this is a selling feature for Corey. I mean I'm sorry Cody, because it has that good, a line, sweet and it's flat here. Sometimes you know those Bob's had the fullness down here. This one is pretty sleek everywhere, so it's cute and there's you know, there's obviously like she said at that. Getting there's more Bob styles. We just wanted to show you what our top sellers are. It doesn't mean they're right for everybody, but for if you will want a classic Bob. What I like about Cody is it's a good transition if you've had a classic bob like if you've been in LA and you've had cut that all one length Bob and now you kind of want to do something a little bit different. So you want to get it a little bit edgier! You want that angle top. This is a good way to transition to you, because you can trim the bang more if you want and it trims the bang beautiful yeah. I have trimmed a bang. This, I don't know how many times and what would do is just kind of direct most the bolt back and then come through and just put a little bit of a wisp in here and but it trims a bank rate yeah we're about to do video. In fact, someone common is just either yesterday or today and how we customized Kim's favorite wig Jolie, which, if you watched any of our videos, you know that is our go-to wig and but one day we're gon na. Do it live yeah, I mean yeah. It'S gon na be a probably a lengthy video, maybe 25 30 minutes, but that way you'll know when we keep saying customized and directing this and directing that you don't know what we're talking about. I mean it's not something I'd ever suggest someone do at home, but I mean you never know if someone can't get to a shop where a stylist is, and they have some old wigs laying around you might just want to experiment well, and the other thing is The point of that whole thing is: there's always options. So if you are gon na plop a wig on your head and expect you don't have to do anything to it and you're gon na look like you're wearing a wig. You'Ve got to make it your own and for some people that means just tucking behind here and maybe they maybe they do this type of thing and that's kind of what defines their look and then other times it's being able to take the wig and say: okay, I like everything about this, but I wish it had more of the thing I wish I had more height here and so there's there's things you can do so when you're shopping at a salon. Make sure that whoever is helping you is a is a licensed cosmetologist and does only synthetic wigs and they can talk to you about different options that you can do yeah. And just beware, because I mean we've. I can't tell you how many stories throughout the years of somebody saying well, they sold me this and told me. I could do this and it looks horrible, so just notice the one you can trust and even if you don't live near us, obviously we can't do it for you, but send us a message and say this is what I wear, and this is what I want Or this is what I'm thinking about wearing. This is what I want and we'll just be honest and tell you they can or can't be done, and you know if it can't. Maybe we can help you. You know direct you in a direction to find something because it's just I mean I know when I came into this thinking. Oh yeah, I'm a hair stylist. We can do whatever we want to do that song we'll make it short it's just it just doesn't work, and sometimes when people will have a weight that they they're trying and they're saying I want this this and this it's not about customizing. It'S like. Oh, you just need any different style. Let'S try this style, because that achieves your goals that you're trying to meet right and wit, but yeah just talk to whoever you're going to and tell them what you want with a wig. You bought to be able to achieve it and you look you want you really. Can I just now my head spinning, so I'm like I got ta have that wig. I can't get over this way. I need this well. Well, I hope, if you were affected by the storms on Sunday here in Dallas, that everything is going back. I think mm-hmm, I think they said 70,000 people are so with that power yeah. My parents were without power from Sunday to last night so and that, in fact that whole region there are even office buildings in their area. That just did not get power, but I think they worked day and night. They called other agencies to come in and help them. So it sounds like we're on the mend sounds like it.
