How To Cut A Wig Into A Bob! Wig Transformation | Donalovehair

What'S up, you guys welcome back to my channel so in this video, I'm gon na be showing you how I cut this wig into this cute little bob that you see here. This is a synthetic wig. It'S not a real human hair wig! This is the first time I've ever cut a synthetic wig before so I just wanted to bring you guys along with me in the process um, but yeah. It'S gon na be a quick, little fun little video of me cutting the wig and that's pretty much it. I'M gon na be telling you guys all the specs of this wig in the video as well, and everything will be down in this description box below also, if you're interested in purchasing a wig from this company and yeah. So if you're interested in watching me cut a wig, then just keep on watching. Alright, you guys, so I'm not gon na be talking throughout this whole video. I'M just gon na be telling you some of the steps that I'm doing along the way to style the hair and then just the information about the wig in general. So the hair is from Donna love hair and it is called black to gray ombre wavy synthetic lace, front wig, I'm gon na have all of the details in the description box also so go check that out, but yeah the hair is 24 inches long before I Straighten it, and after I straighten it, it's gon na be 34 inches long, which is very, very long. It'S almost a yard so which leads me to why I'm cutting the hair. So I know a lot of you guys are gon na say the hair is really pretty just as it is, and I know it is very pretty that's why I chose this one first off, but when I got the hair, the hair is very luxurious. So there's a lot of hair and it's there's just a lot of hair, so I felt like I would get a lot more use out of it if it was a short bob. You know it's not like as BAM in your face as 34 inches of silver hair would be. So that's why I'm cutting the wig, so I have no problem whatsoever with the natural state of the hair. It is really pretty still it's just me personally. I want to get as much use out of the wig as possible, so that's why I'm cutting in shorter, so the first thing I'm gon na do is just straighten all the hair. Just so it's easier for me to get a more, even blunt straight cut for the Bob and this brush right here, as you can see, I'm using the chase method just straighten it, and this hair - it straightens very, very well, so you can definitely use a straightener On it, my straightener, you can't set a temperature on it, so I think it's about like 400 425, I'm not really sure, but it is really hot. So in it it took the heat very well. This quality of the synthetic wig is very good, so I didn't have any problems with straightening it at all and yeah. So this brush came with the wig when it was sent to me. I was also sent with a wig cap as well and then just a little info card, but I'm just gon na let the video run and I'll be back to tell you guys what the next step is. Oh and another thing I just want to point out, since this is a synthetic wig, you don't want to leave this straightener on the hair very long as you can see, I'm kind of just it's sped up, but when it was slowed down I would kind of Just do like small little strokes or do long strokes, but do it quicker just so the straightener isn't sitting on the hair because it will melt or it will burn, but yeah. That'S just a little tip. If you are planning on using heat on a synthetic wig. Most synthetic wigs tell you what what temperature you can use a you know heat on it. So just make sure you know that, but for this wig specifically, I didn't have any problems with using the straightener on the hair, all right. So once all of the hair is straightened, I'm just separating the hair into sections. I'M doing this because the hair, like I said, has a lot of hair to it, so it's gon na be kind of impossible. Just to take scissors, just you know just to cut through the whole entire hair, all at once, so I'm actually not even using scissors. I'M using clippers because I took scissors before this at the very end just to see how well it will cut through the hair and it didn't work very well, so I had Clippers. So I'm just I saw videos on this actually and it's just super satisfying the way the Clippers just go through all the hair. So, if you're into those satisfying videos, you're really gon na like this and even try it for yourself so yeah, that's pretty random but yeah. That'S all I'm doing I'm just using the Clippers and then just going section by section just taking out a little bit of hair and then just cutting it all the same length. And then after you're. Just gon na see me kind of clean up the bottom and yeah. That'S pretty much it you guys so just go ahead and watch and see this wig transform. So, as you guys can see, it's super simple to get this bob haircut. Like I said, this is my first time cutting a wig into a bob and I think it looks really cute and the last two minutes of this video is my daughter playing with the wig. She had it in the mount and - and it was like free and then so under there's like one of these headbands, but it's already a headband. It'S like something that you put under your wigs and then she got this at the store, the hair store and it had like hair stuff and conditioner, and all that and have stuff for kids like hair stuff for kids. And then I really a member where, when she water or something this hair is so well, it was like really long before and then now it's just like, it's just sure cuz she cut it. It was like a bottom to here. She had one of those like faces fake faces, and then she put her doll, the wig her a wig head and she put it on there. This hair is so beautiful, it's like gray and black, so I'm gon na take it off and show you how it does shake it shake it. I love your hair, better anyways, so this is my real hair. It'S all curly and nice, and I paint my nails. This it goes under your hair, it's stretchy and it's just like a sock, but it's like feels very stretchy, so this is Aidan, he's really sure, but he's like two years old bye guys.
