I Tried Something New | How To Ft Afsister Wig |

Hey guys welcome back to the channel, so today i'm going to be reviewing this wig for y'all. As you can see, there's highlights and texture to it. I'M basically going to show you guys how i style a wig on a lazy day. As you can see, i am just combing my hair out making sure i don't have any tangles in it, so i can braid it and yes, i need it cut, trimmed or whatever that's okay, and we always want to start with pulling our edges back. You know so you don't glue anything down, that's not supposed to be glued down, and i don't have my rat tail comb with me. So i'm just parting with this wide tooth comb and since my hair is straight, i'm going to be using two braids. Instead of doing a whole like shebang and as you can see, the part isn't perfect, but that won't matter i'm going to start with braiding this side, just one little slick, braid it's flat and then do the other side. Boom looks good it's flat and then obviously you want to be able to keep your edges slicked back, so i'm using eco styling gel, especially because i won't need anything too strong for this style. Just make sure you get everything out the way and then go ahead and put on a wig cap, make sure you have all of your hair under the wig cap. There'S the wig again, it's looking fresh nothing's done to it. As you can see, the hairline was a little thick, but if you don't want to plug, then i'll show you a little cute way um to save some time. So you know, i use some foundation because, like i said this is a lazy day. Wig and the foundation worked really good. You just got ta pack it on the nuts and then you just cut your lace. It doesn't have to be perfect. Mine never is, and i was a little confused with the ear flap. So what i went and did was snipped like where the hair is so down, and i had no problem making myself like an earpiece or the sideburns whatever i didn't have a problem with that and just improvised and then i'm going to do it to the other Side making sure the wig looks good and then i'm going in and basically trimming up the rest of the lace. You don't want to see too much of the net or whatever, just because it'll show and make sure you're being careful, because you can snip some hair and end up snipping. Like a lot of it and it'll look butchered um, i would advise using like eyebrow scissors. I just didn't pull mine out. No biggie. I'Ve been doing this for a while, so yeah, i'm cool with my fabric scissors and then for the glue part. You always want to make sure you're using thin layers of glue, because if not, it will get super like tacky and sticky. So if you do do multiple layers of glue make sure the first layer is sticky, tacky or whatever don't apply layers on top of layers. When it's still wet because, like i said, that'll, make the look, look sticky. If that makes sense - and i only used one layer of glue because, like i said this is kind of like a lazy day - tutorial didn't take long to dry and then i just applied the wig on the glue and some people do it in sections. But for me, since this was like something i'm not used to or i'm not new to, i definitely didn't have to do that. Take your time. You know looks good when you take your time and i'm gon na wrap my hair and make sure that the wig and the glue work together so to keep myself busy. I wet the hair and, as you can see, it's starting to fall perfectly with the water and stuff like that. None of the color bled off of my fingers. There was no nasty smell, no nothing like that and you got to get all up in that hair. Just so you don't miss any parts. The hair looks really good when um it was all finished and, as you can see in the back, it's pretty and i wanted to do um something fresh and new to this wig. I didn't like it blunt, so i went ahead and made some bangs and i think they turned out really really cute, and i did like this hairstyle on myself. Super cute looks fresh. You can even throw it on if you just need to go, run some errands for the day, but you don't want to actually go glue, a wig down. I know some people don't like that commitment and that's actually what i basically did for this. I glued it down and made sure that it was glued down and stuck just for the day or for two days, and you know i did my business while i was cute looked fresh, so i did take the wig out of the or take the ponytail out Of the wig, so i could show you guys the highlights and show you guys what it looks like when it's down with the bangs um. Some people don't really like to cut their hair, but i'm not a professional. I just wanted to try this and i did like it with the bangs. It looks fresh, looks good and it also hides the fact that i did not plug the lace. I love the hair and i hope you guys enjoyed thanks for sending this hair to me. Bye y'all
