So i just got this in the mail: it's a mega look wig! I am so excited y'all. Let me show y'all my box a little ratchet, but let me tell y'all what came in it. Of course you have the wig it. This is. What is it? It'S? A body wave 14 inch natural color, 360 lace. I also they also sent me this goodie bag. It'S really cute, i don't know if you can see it, it says mega, look on it um and it has what it has in there. I have eyelashes. It has a little headband thing to lay your lace with it. They gave you a lot of stuff in here, i'm struggling, they have an edge brush. Comb can y'all see it. Yes, um a little clip to clip your clip, your hair back, a wig cap which i will be using and they have a little hair clip. This pouch is super cute. It also came with a little pamphlet. Um get ten dollars off using the code. Once i got ta go and it came with an elastic bin, so i'm gon na go ahead, wash the wig bleach, the wig wash it, and then i will be back up all right. So i'm just going to show you how to wig before i bleach it and wash it and cook the edges, the price was 119. They had a valentine's day sale. It took approximately seven days to get to me um. They were very nice and polite. It wasn't like the other wig that i bought. The other wig review was that i forgot the name of that wig because it was so horrible okay. So this is the wig straight out of the pack. It has brown lace, y'all see it. It has three combs on the inside of it and y'all. This hair is super duper thick and it's soft, but i'm gon na have to wash it and blow dry it to see about these ends. Because that's what happened to me last time so yeah, i'm just gon na, go ahead and bleach it off camera, wash it blow dry it and i might get up here and pluck the edges i might not but um. I will see y'all in a little bit like it is a hot mess, but do y'all see what i did. I accidentally bleach the roots of the um frontal, but i am going to go in and show you how y'all can fix this. I'M going to go ahead and start plumbing it out. You turn it down yeah, so you see how i accidentally bleach too much of the um, let the bleach kind of like seep through it, and now we have to fix some of this because it's not going to be cute if we don't, but i'm going to Show you how to do it, so i'm going to go ahead and blow dry her out. This is how she's looking and i obviously i believe you should not establish the roots too, how i'm gon na fix these blonde roots. I have the kiss semi permanent black and i'm gon na mix it with a little kiss semi-permanent brown. Just so we can get the roots back to a blackish brown color. The hair is in the natural color, so i'm trying to mimic that hair color, i'm just going to pour a little bit in this bowl, i'm going to put more brown than black. If that, if you want to see what i'm doing that's enough black and then i'm going to take my brush and i'm just going to so i just want to let you know that you really need to take your time. I i know it look like. I just sped through this, but i just actually sped up the video, but i took my time because we do not want to ruin this place. We just took our precious time and dyed it and the laces like bomb af, so we do not want to ruin it. So take your time, sis, if you over bleach your knots. This is just one way you can correct it make sure you take your time. You know, and just take your time i don't know how else to say this. So after i corrected the over bleaching of the knots i'm going to come in and show y'all how i style my wig. So, first i'm going to part the wig down the middle in the center of the head down the middle um, and then i'm going to do two triangles off the center part. You want to make sure these triangles are symmetrical to one another. They have the same amount of hair in it because you're going to be lopsided. Take your time with this um after i get as much hair as i need, or as to my liking, i'm gon na comb, all the hair to the front, and i'm just gon na make a blunt cut now. This is very important when you are cutting hair, make sure you use shears, hair shears, do not use your kids scissors, don't use the kitchen knife, you know just invest in some hair shears, they are pretty cheap um. You can find anywhere. You know them right. There use them, okay, so we're going to make a blunt cut, and after i make that blunt cut, i'm going to um part it back down the center and you want to make sure this cut is like i said as straight as possible. You know we human it ain't gon na, be that straight. But you know it's gon na be cute, so i'm gon na do the blunt cut. I'M gon na part it back down the center and then i'm gon na have two triangles again. I guess yeah we're gon na have two triangles and i'm just gon na pull the hair to the opposite side and i'm gon na cut in a downward motion. You know you really can't see what i'm doing so, i'm just telling you but yeah. You can see that part, i'm cutting the downward motion, and this is gon na give you that swoop. Bang effect like is this going to gradually fade into the layers, and it's really cute so make sure you do that and i will say, cut off less hair. You will always go back in and cut off more if need be, but if you cut off too much, then you just stuck so take your time and cut off as little, even if you have to make like baby steps, just cut off a little and wear A day then, oh, i want to look yeah do that, but just don't go in that heck at all. So i'm just going to put this out the way and i'm blow drying the wig out, because i like to cut my hair on dry hair. I tried the wet hair. It wasn't really for me, so i'm just going to go back and blow dry the hair and i'm going to show you how i cut long layers in the back of the wig. So if you don't take anything else away from this video, the one thing i really want you to get is to section off your hair before you start cutting any kind of layers or trimming the hair, because it will make the hair more symmetrical. It will look more professional and it will save you. Some grief, trust me um, so i'm just sectioning off my wig. I did one on each side of the bang and then i'm gon na section off the back into two, with more more being on the top half and less bend on the bottom. I hope that makes sense. I'M going to show you, though, but i just decided that i wanted all this to feather into the long layer, so i am just cutting down in the downward motion. I guess that's how i'll explain it and you want to make sure this is symmetrical as possible on both sides and that you're trying to cut off the same amount of hair um one more tip. I would give you to start off small. You know, take a centimeter, take two and then take an inch. You know because it's always easy to go back and take some off, but we cannot go back and get it back, and if you paid your money for this, i don't want you not to be happy with it. So we're gon na just get into the back and, like i said, i'm gon na part it in half, but i'm gon na have more hair on the top and the reason being is because the bottom half we're just going to cut bluntly we're going to cut Straight across because if you try to layer the bottom, the ends will look so thin, so we're just going to give it that crisp. Blunt look and it all look good and seamless at the end. But trust me on this one just cut it straight across get it as even as possible and we're going to use this as a guide for our layers. Also. So after you have gotten that part as clean as possible, i'm going to put this hair away. You want to make sure you tuck it away, ponytail it's hot down, but get it away, because you can accidentally cut this hair when you're trying to cut the layers on the top half, and we don't want that to happen. So we're just going to gather that and put a clip on it, a ponytail on it, whatever you got, ta do to secure it, secure it, and i'm gon na show y'all how i cut these layers. So this is one of those things where i'm gon na tell you to do what i say and don't do what i do. I know that's hard but um, i'm parting, this hair in a triangle sections, but i want you to part it smaller because if you part it smaller, it's easy to control your layers, but you know i would got lazy. So what i did all i did was parted at a triangle, section comb it out and i'm going to cut up into the hair, and this will give it a more natural appearance like it will feather into the layers. It won't be so blunt and i feel like this will be a much nicer cut. If you don't know what you're doing it's like it's hard to, detect that you just chopped off a lot of hair. So do what i say and not what i do. I'M combing the hair together, i'm looking through the ends and make sure it's all. Even if i see something i don't like, i snip it. That'S all i just snip it yeah and i'm just going to keep repeating that same step. So here's the part of the video - well i'm going to give you my honest opinion about this wig. I don't know if y'all know, but this is not a sponsored video i paid for this with my own money um, it was 119.. I was like i stated, but that was because it was a valentine's day sell. I think this wig is like 150 160. Without that um i will have all the links down below in the description bar, so this wig will be a solid eight. If i was rating it on a one to ten scale, 10 being the highest, it's a solid eight, because the price point is excellent: it's not expensive, as hell um, this wig, the the lace bleach beautifully, and even though i over bleached my knots and they kind Of got on the hair, i could tell that if i wanted to bleach the hair that it would take the bleach beautifully because it did like it bleached so quick y'all, it bleached, really quick um, it's soft! It'S shiny, um! It'S thick like it's thick. I don't even know what to say about that. Like give me thickness, the density is on point on this wig and um. I love it yeah. So, if you're looking for a solid wig, i feel like this is a good wig and i feel like this wig will last because i'll be sending a lot of youtubers or i just see people in general who buy weights for two weeks. That'S not what wigs are meant for. That'S wings are met for like six seven, eight months even years like i have had a wig that lasts me three years, if you take care of it. So if you're just trying to buy away for two weeks, you might go ahead and buy sympathetic, wigs, it's like don't be doing that, but yeah. I would highly recommend this wig um. Let me stop rambling and show you i'll tell y'all what i'm doing so. I bought this little air blow dry. I think it's a blow dry brush from walmart for 25. This was the best 25 i could ever spend. So basically, this is like a dominican blow out in the brush like it does all the work you have to like you know, flip your wrist. You have to get the twirling part right, but for the most part it does all the work, and i just went back over it with the um hot curlers and i didn't have the curls on high heat, because i decided that i was not going to try To put too much heat on this wig because i wanted to last as long as possible, like i said, i'm trying to keep this for a while, so yeah and using that brush it made it more bouncy, and you know my hair was like stiff wear like When my head moved my hair, moved and that's on period and that's on lil mary had lamb yeah. That'S on that! So yes, invest in that brush. If i can't find the exact brush, i will link whatever i can find on amazon down below.
