How To Get Your Hd Wig To Look Like Scalp *Step By Step* Wig Install & Style | Yolissa Hair

So today's video is going to be a little bit different, i'm very excited because i'm going to be showing you guys how to install your lace after it's already been installed. So you know when you get your hair installed by stylus, it looks bob like lace, invisible part, fresh curls, pop it yeah, and then you get home and a few weeks later it looks not the best and you're like what do i do now. So this video is for you i'm going to doing a start to finish of how to get that wig to look snatched. You know what i'm talking about. So the weight of this video is from ulysses hair. It is 26 inches. I actually got a color from its 1b natural color to this highlight wig. I really wanted to pop my birthday, so this highlight wig was indeed colored by a stylist. I got it in a body wave, so i can get some really good, curls and yeah as y'all can see. This is the wig from yolissa, and you know what it is. Definitely look better. It looks dead, so we're gon na try to revive this hair. Get the curls popping the edges back, because where are they? Where are they just yeah? So it's it! You know what it just needs. A little love. I actually just washed it yesterday. So this is the natural waves. I haven't even brushed out anything, so you guys are seeing exactly the beginning process of how i will begin to like style. This hair - i haven't done, highlights in a long time, and i forgot how much i really loved it like wow, it's a bit of me. Yeah, basically, what i'm doing is just combing out the waves i kind of want it to be fresh because i'm going to blow dry it and curl it. So this i want to come out all the knots that come along with it uh it's just not necessary. The other day i saw you looking my way. I started to contemplate moments that went to waste as y'all can see. I just went ahead and blow-dried it. So most of the waves are down. I do this before i curl it just to get rid of some of the frizz um and kind of just help. It look way way put together because a lot of times when i don't do this, it looks really frizzy and poofy. So yeah as y'all can see. This is what the hairline looks like after the hot comb. You want to make sure to push all of the hairs back so that none of the hairs get caught in the glue um but yeah. It looks very, very nice and neat i'm going to go in once again with the hot comb when it's on my head to make sure it's extra extra flat, but as you can see, it's already on flat flat all right. So now it's time for the ball cap and on my head, i have this stocking cap. This is the brand that i just got from amazon. I'Ve actually never used a stocking cap before, but because i ran out of my regular wig caps. I'M gon na try this method, and everyone said this is a better method um. This is very tight on my head, but i think the process should be the same. So we're gon na try it out. My baby is useless. This is my first time using a stocking and i kind of love it. It dried in half of the time it normally takes with a regular wig cap. So if you are in between a wig cap and a stocking cap and get a stocking cap - and let me know what you think - because i just wow la yo - this looks so good. I think this is one of my best ball caps that i've ever done and i haven't even put any foundation on it. Like oh, my gosh, i have been convinced i feel like this already just shows. This is going to be such a good video. No actually, the ball is kind of scary. I'M going to take my skin protect from the hair diagram to protect my scalp from the glue kind of just that gives it a fresh layer as well as like removes like anything. The key to making this look like scalp and not having that like white residue, is to make sure that you put it on in really even layers. So i like to do mine in two parts. I'Ll put dots on this part that i'll even it out and then i'll, put dots on this side and even it out and kind of keep going like a circle just watch. I use my rat tail comb. It did break apart from the the rest of it, but i use this rat tail comb to kind of like smooth it down and then in between each layer. I took a pad with alcohol on it and i kind of wipe it off and clean it off. If you don't do that, it kind of gets gunky and then it gets kind of like really really sticky. So i feel like that's the best way, to kind of keep it really clean and neat. Actually, before i start the glue process, let me just see what it looks like on my head. Oh, this is looking good, so it's not bad. I'M going to put some foundation on the lace first to kind of get it to match my skin, because, as you can kind of see, it's a little it's a little bit lighter like. Even though, when it's down it's going to melt pretty well because it is itchy lace, i kind of want it to look like scalp. So i'm gon na put a little bit of foundation the same foundation i put on my wig cap on my lace to kind of make sure it matches perfect perfectly but yeah. I think this is gon na look really good baby girl don't need to flex. As i said earlier, i am just spreading the glue section by section and don't forget to wipe off the excess glue with alcohol in between each layer just to prevent the glue from drying on the comb. Since i need this install to survive this hot hot atlanta heat, i do about four to five layers of glue and i make sure that it is completely clear before applying the next layer. You really want to make sure that you use a comb to press down the lace and not your fingers. I am being pretty careful to place the lace exactly where the glue ended. Honestly, if you place the wig too far back then you'll have extra glue that the baby hairs will stick to and it just it just won't be cute. The ear flaps always give me the most trouble. So if you have any areas like this, that didn't stick down, go ahead and add a few layers of glue to those spots and make sure that each layer is clear. Y'All hear me clear, so i found out that whenever i go back in with these extra layers, knowing exactly where the ear flaps will go, my install lasts way longer and look at that scalp. So the best part of reinstalling a lace, is that the baby hairs were already cut. So here i am just trying to pull them out before i tie the lace down. I was being modest when i pulled the baby hairs out initially, so i ended up going back in and pulling out way more baby hairs. I just want to start on my curls. While i wait for my lace to melt a bit more, please ignore my facial expressions throughout this part. My sister and i were watching love island and it was getting crazy. Any of you all. I honestly need a new hot comb that gets way hotter, but this one is lasting for now it's lasting so to achieve that fluffy, baby hair. Look you have to slightly comb out the hairs, so it's more natural looking and almost looking like relaxed, hair and voila. This is it, oh, my goodness, i am actually obsessed with how this turned out. I'M speechless.
