Fall Protective Styling: Lace Closure Wigs! I'M Done With Frontals(Rant) Ft Dola Hair

It doesn't look right now it is a little cute. Like you know, i need to be able to just throw on my hair and go and that's why this is such an amazing fall slash winter protective style for my relaxed hair, hey loves, so today's video will be featuring dola hair. I did pay for this hair myself with my own cash. I'M just ready now to put away this hair. So this is my relaxed hair. The roller sets are done, i'm ready to move into protective styling as it's getting colder. You know throughout the days, so i am using the every strand, keratin hair mask for chemically treated hair because i am relaxed, so i felt like that was important and good for my hair and then i also used some deep treatment that i just had laying around. I mixed them together, and i put them on my head for a deep conditioning that lasted about a few hours honestly for now, let's say two to three hours, but your hair tie will honestly depend on how long or short your hair is so for me, i Decided to take the towel off my head, let it really towel dry as much as it could so that i didn't have to blow dry it as long for as long and now i am spraying my hair with some heat protectant, because i am about to blow Dry, my hair, and we want to make sure our hair is nice and protected. If you see me looking to the side, often that's because i'm literally watching the hats and have nots - and this show is insane it's getting good. It won't stop like in the next clip you'll see my face expression. Something happened crazy on the show i was like. Oh, oh, my god, it's getting real, i don't have to explain blow drying yeah. I know how that goes, and now it's me time. So you see i i braided one side of my head and then i braided the other. I do my own hair, the braids are not the neatest in the world, but it's whatever. It gets the job done, and that is all that matters. So here is the wig that i've had prepped and ready to go for a few days now, because i was just waiting till i was done wearing my relaxed hair, my natural hair and felt like putting on the wig, and today is that day. So now i am going to show you guys the wig itself the inside, so it is a lace, closure wig. It has three combs and you know a band in the back, but not an elastic band, but the regular bin that wigs come with when you buy them from a store or wherever, and i put that bad boy on this wig is so cute. I, of course started to remove the curls that been there now. These curls have been there for like two three days now, so they had a really good amount of time to just sit and set. I noticed with this hair that it does not really hold the curl unless i do something like this, where it's like pinned up and has been forced to stay in place for hours or days at a time. So that's just a full warning with this specific wig. It just doesn't hold curls outside of that, but good thing. For me, i had the patience um to just wait. So the wig - i really don't think i'll struggle with the curls now, but it is so pretty and if you guys want a curling tutorial on how i curled this wig or styled it. Let me know - and i can definitely record that so now - i'm going to start talking, okay, everyone. So this is the finished results. I am in love with this wig. I am so excited to just have this new honestly look, i keep saying it, but it's just so cute, like it's all black. You know this is like really like jet black hair. I didn't expect it to be so jet black, but it's very black hair, but i'm okay with that. I hope you guys can like notice it because i'm wearing a black turtleneck, so that probably isn't really helping this hair is from dola hair. I did order it myself, um i paid for it with my own money. I bought the lace closure, wig um, the like first one, that's on the page and i bought it in 12 inches and then i cut it like just so. It could all be. Even so, if this was flat ironed, it literally sits like a bob, and then i curled it and pinned it up, as you guys can see when i show the wig and i've had it like that for a few days now, because i've been just waiting until I was tired of dealing with my real hair to throw this wig on and call it a day now. The reason why i got a lace closure instead of a lace frontal is because i am so sick of lace. Front tools like it's not even funny the lace frontal craze, that's going on is really ridiculous. It'S messing up people's edges. It hasn't done anything to my edges, thank god, but like just the cautions, even when i'm wearing lace closures. Myself like i said i do my own hair, i do everything myself. If you watch my channel and even just the caution and the fright from taking off my lace closure because of the glue i mean you can do the got to be, but then it'll be lifting by like the afternoon or like by the next day. And then you have the, i don't know for me, no matter if i use god to be bold, hold anything else. My hair would lift after at least a week like i don't know how people be having the same frontal installs and for like three weeks at a time, and i can't even do that. Like i don't know, maybe this is tmi, but i would take off my lace, closure and like sometimes have acne because, like it's just accumulating gunk right there and you can't wash it i mean you can. I guess i don't know, but you don't want to scrub. On it or mess it up too much because then you'll mess up the install, it was just becoming too tedious to have all the time, and i do have a lot of lace front tools. So i don't know what i'm going to do about that, like i i don't know - maybe i'll wear them again, but i'm just so sick of lace, frontals, like i'm sick of them. It'S too much work, and i just want to throw on my wig and run out the door like i'm so tired of having to strategize how to look presentable, because even if you did just want your lace front to walk outside somebody's going to be talking about. You somebody's going to say something or you're going to just look like you. Don'T do hair or you don't know how to take care of your hair. You just be out here looking crazy and i try to never really do that, but i also don't have the patience to sit down and strategize how to make sure my lace front is always looking perfect. So i just want to. I just wanted to switch over back to lace closures because i miss just throwing on my weight and go going like honestly right now. I can take this off. Put it back on my wig stand, go to sleep, you know and not have to think anything about it. You know, of course, i'm gon na put my bonnet and stuff because of my real hair, but then i can also just but yeah. I can also put my wig back on like fat and not have to think about it. You know, and i just feel wonderful. I love this wig so much. I love the ease of this wig like the fact that it's still fully styled, even though i just took it off one second ago, and that's like my third time taking it off since putting it on. You know and the easiness of it in the fall and winter - i don't know about other people, but it's just so much going on you're, probably cooking more at home. If you have kids you're attending to your children, i don't have kids, but i do cook. For me and my boyfriend, i make my youtube videos. I have my own other personal projects that i'm focused focused on and i work a full-time job. So i need to be able to just throw on my hair and go and that's why this is such an amazing fall slash winter protective style for my relaxed hair, because one i'm not exposing my natural hair to the elements. So it's not getting attacked by just wind and rain and snow and everything that's coming, and i also get to look presentable and not have to really plan out so much my hairstyles because my hair is neckline. I don't have the luxury of just walking out the door and my hair looking good. You know i can actually no, i can't like honestly, i have to plan out my hairstyles. If it's going to be straight, i have to flat iron it. If it's going to be curly, i have to do at least pin curls or something like that and then of course it's still my real hair, so there's flyaways and things of that sort. So i have to just always plan out my hair, and i don't have that luxury, as i did in the summer time or just at other times of the year versus the fall and the fact that this hair was like jet black is really giving me the Full vibes, like i feel, like a witch you know, i'm a christian. I love, i love god, so we rebuked that witch life, but it doesn't look right now. It is like you, like. You know, i don't know, but i am obsessed with this and wearing lace. Closure wigs, not least frontals lace, closure. Wigs is a as a saving grace for relaxed beauties and i'm pretty sure other beauties too, but that's pretty much it.
