How To Install A Closure Wig For Beginners *Detailed* 4X4 Deep Wave Install | Svt Hair

Dj, what is up Foolish Games? I am back with a brand new hair video, so today we are teaming up with SVT hair. I work with number four, but this one is from AliExpress so into the package. You need to send me some wig caps. Also, some super cute um leopard headbands. They filled this back up today, okay, with some makeup brushes also, and then he sent me three pair of lashes and now moving into the beautiful unit. This is a 26 inch. 4X4 closure, wig um. This is the inside of the cap and the construction of the wig. You have tons of combs. You can put it within your hair if you want extra security and the cap is actually very spacious, it's not super snug. So if you have a bigger head, this would be great for you and the curl pattern. Is I love deep wave, so let's go ahead and get started um. This is going to be a little bit more of a detailed install. I'M going to really tell you guys what I'm using what I'm doing, I feel like. I want to put a spin on the way I do my installs, because at the end of the day I want to be able to teach you guys and have you take away something from my videos versus just watching a video of you doing hair and it's Just music, you know, I'm saying I feel like that's just so played out, and I want to be able to teach along with you watching what I'm doing. I'M saying because I was in the same position you guys are in now a lot of you may be starting to want to get in the wigs, or maybe you don't know how to start doing wigs and want to know how to put your own wig on You know what I'm saying: it's the perfect time right now to learn how to do your own hair um. The hair industry is growing and honestly you can save so much money doing your own hair. You know you can even get the opportunity to even get free hair, so I would love to do videos. You know of me, showing you guys how I pluck my wigs, how I bleach my wigs, how I prep them for installs um, filling my clients and I'm now starting to take installs for um. So if you guys would like any kind of videos like that, please let me know I can definitely keep them rolling. I want to really get into these detailed videos, because it's so boring and I honestly it be killing me to film. You know just sit Downs with music. It really is. I want to be able to teach along with you watching me. You know I'm saying I want to take away something from the video, so let's go ahead and buckle up and get into the install y'all. So we're gon na first start off with doing how I Lay My wigs. So if you've been here and you're, not a rookie, if you're new here buckle up and we're going to get into this install - and let you guys know how I do my wigs. So of course I go in with my Ruby kisses. First, that's my favorite. Ever two tint wigs, I mean honestly, they have probably about 10 palettes and they have the most true to shade skin tones in those palettes. I cannot lie best thing ever put down those even spray cans. I honestly started there too, but Ruby kisses, don't took it up a notch and it's true to skin tone. I love that and then I go in with laying my wigs with the even black can spray um. This is literally the strongest spray I've ever seen in my life. This is my favorite one. I love the red one as well. That'S my bestie, but this one I do all glueless installs just because I get wigs so much and I have to switch them out. Every couple days, so it just doesn't make sense for me to put on glue I'm gon na snatch it right off. You know so I'm gon na wait till I get tacky and I'm gon na start laying the lace. So I'm gon na come back and let you guys watch me do that and we'll get back into the rest of the install all right, y'all, let's go ahead and get into below drying, so I use the best of the best blow dryer. This is the Silver Bird I believe um. I got it from Sally's like years ago me. My mom had this for so long, but um cool air. Only. I do not want to see y'all using hot air. That is why your wigs are turning white and the thing is bumping up and doing all this extra stuff lay your wigs with cool air. Please, and thank you and take you a nice melt band does not matter any kind works perfectly and not too much on the elbows y'all y'all gon na see me put it on low. Please not too much I'd be trying I'll be in my zone. Okay, honestly and truly but yeah - that was my fault, but yeah just don't know not too much I put on lotion you go see. I want to truly show y'all this beautiful lace that SVT hair gives like do, y'all see what this lace is looking like. You cannot even tell when you see my fingers covered the end of it like. Where is the lace honestly? Their lace is so bomb and yeah get into the lotion, because not too much on the elbows, like we had to fix that. I was looking at my viewfinder, I'm like oh no, it never gave Ashley on the camera like no and then we're going to take my favorite thing ever. I do not cut my wigs, but no scissors. If I see you cutting your wig with scissors, it's a up with you because, honestly like, why are you cutting your wig, which says you're trying to look like Tyrone, with the shape up? No, this is not given like do not cut your wigs with scissors you're going to get a lineup look like you got out somebody Barber chair with the fresh line of no use some razors and make that lace super Jagged so that it's going to melt effortlessly. They'Re not gon na, be able to see it and go back in with your even spray put a little bit on the ends that are still frayed up and they're gon na melt that down, along with cool air also, and then you're gon na put your milk Band back on baby we're going to keep on rolling through the install. So let me put this milk in on after I blow dry, this cool first, I always melt my lace um with the blow dryer first and then I put the Melt band on. I always like to let it dry a little bit just so. It'S not so sticky on the melpin and um yeah so go ahead and use your cool air and then put your melt band on and we're gon na come back and we're going to get this nice and cute with the edges and all that foreign foreign. Don'T let nobody tell y'all that I told you this. This is the key to a melted install. I started doing this show and let me tell you never going back, I'm never leaving well Kai said I'm never leaving, oh my God, I'm never leaving. I am never leaving I'm in this forever yeah, because this game Scout, I mean like it, just enhances the way that your lace looks like. Oh, my god, I've never seen lace melted this good and I always use even but this just oh, my God honestly it just. Does it every time use a little bit of that Spritz on the end of your lace, where you would apply the even just put it on top all across the hairline and then blow dry it cool and put that melt band back on and go styling girl? I'M telling you Renee when you take that no band off it's going to give what lace, because literally it just takes up a notch, take my word literally, you would never go back to just using adhesive or nothing else. I'M telling you this gon na be a major step in your installation process. So do this cool air only and put that melt band right back on foreign now we are going to move into styling y'all. So for my hot comb and my wax stick, this is the luster wax stick. I believe I got it from the Beauty Supply. This is actually really good. I'M looking for another one also, I feel like this one can be a little oily. If you use too much, it can be very greasy a little bit, but if you, you know, don't use too much it'll be okay, um, my hot comb that I use is the Andes one. Honestly, if I'm being honest, I've been doing hair for a year and I'm still, I don't care, I love my anyone. I honestly the 10 high comb is going to do it for me every time the one that used to look like it's on the stove yeah that one's going to get you flat. This one is very good as well. Don'T get me wrong, but if I had to choose, I'm choosing that anyone I'd be burning out. I'M choosing that every time, because one thing about it, it's going to really give literally what what wig! Because it's going to really push that back and get it super flat. That'S the key to an install is having a nice hot cone. That'S going to get hot! You cannot have a hot comb, that's just not getting no heat to the hair! So get you a good high comb and press that into the top of your wig. You can also section it off. That'S another key tip: do it layer by layer, so it's super flat, but this is a deep wave wig honestly, I already touched this up before. I installed this so I didn't need to do too much, but you guys see it super flat on the top. Y'All can see it's given. I love this hair so much, but now it is time to get into um the edges and stuff like that. So we're going to speed right into that now and for my edges I always like to pluck my edges. Now honestly, I've learned that I used to do some thick edges honestly, it used to give very very much thick and I don't like that. Look no more! I feel like certain installs, it looks good, but for every install I don't know it doesn't give honestly so thin out the edges just a little bit. You don't have to make them like bald, where it's like. You can't even get a nice swoop, but just thin out a little bit just so when you apply your mousse and your gel. It'S not going to be super dense. Looking you know what I'm saying so just thin it out. I use the tweezerman tweezers they're, my favorite from Target with the um pointed kind of edges, they're, so good. Those are the only tweezers. I recommend they're the best and I've used them for a year. I never went to no one else. They are the best and yeah just pluck out your edges and then we're going to go ahead and get into how I actually style them. Okay, so I cut my edges with the Eraser. Once again, I feel like it just gives a more wispy look. Instead of using the scissors, it kind of gives like blunt, like you're, cutting a bob and it I don't like that, you really can't get a nice swoop with just doing unless you're going like an angle, I feel like even on an angle with this scissor. It still gives like blunt bob cut, you know um, then this is my favorite literally hot tool. Ever I love my mini pencil straightener. I got this from Amazon. This is the one by kiss this is so good. This is literally under 20. Y'All need to grab this, it's so good. It gets super hot and it just gives a beautiful curl to the edges. Um, you can curl them up or down. I'Ve always done up, but I see people do it under. So I'm gon na have to try that one day, but up always does it for me, so give it a nice curl and what I do to lay my edges, I'm starting to get back into mousse, but I just been liking the got to be gel honestly. I don't use too much. No, actually, I have not used got to be gel. I'Ve been using eco eco has not been letting me down. It'S honestly. A super light hold doesn't feel like it's like stuck to your face where you can't even move um. I just turned out to not like that. Look, no more! I don't want my edges, like you know, glued to my head like it's like you know. I don't like that, so I'm starting to get back into mousse, but I had to find a good mousse. That is not alcohol in it. I'Ve been using Nairobi. I feel like that. One has alcohol in it which still lifts the lace, and I don't know I found out this other one. I'M gon na test it y'all and if I really do love it and I see a difference, I'm going to recommend it to y'all in my next upcoming videos but use whatever you want. I mix I used to normally mix gel and mousse. That'S a really good! Combo but I love Eco right now, it's been working. It really does keep a super beautiful effect to the edge. It'S really natural. Just really you know effortless, it just looks like you didn't really try. It just doesn't look super crazy and I don't like that. Jelly look, I don't know but go ahead and swoop your edges and then we're gon na come back style, her up with the water, and then we are all done. Thank you. Another thing I have been doing that I've added to the way I do my installs is, I recently purchased black strips these are for when you do wraps and stuff like in the salon. Um. If you get like, you know, finger waves or stuff like that, you know stylists use these all the time doing like wraps and stuff like that. So I apply a black strip to my edges. Whenever I use like a gel or a foam - and I feel like it, just takes up all that moisture from the gel or the foam and just lets it dry, and it just doesn't leave like that. You know sticky residue like a melt band, would sometimes the Melt band just snatch your edge off honestly and truly. If it's laid down for too long it'll just snatch the edges right back up. So a black strip is always going to do it, but you can also put a melt in on top of this. That'S another thing: I recommend putting a melt bin on top of the black strip to give it some pressure to keep melting it. While you are styling, so that's a great thing, but um go ahead and use the black shirt. Those are really nice all right, y'all and the last step to this install is going to be to wet this hair up and give it some super luscious curls to this hair. So I go in with my continuous Mister, which is from Amazon. I love this stuff. I would never go back to that regular spray bottle. My fingers be killing me just pushing that thing all the time. That thing is annoying, get you guys, a continuous Mister. You can just hold down that thing. It just keeps on spraying, and I just love it. So much so get you one of those um directly right on Amazon. I believe some hair stores might sell them the beauty supply. I'M not sure. I got mines on Amazon, though um, but do you guys see this beautiful curl pattern? I love this hair, so much um. I truly do enjoy deep wave just because it's just so beautiful. I love the way the curls always end up when they're super wet and you can you know fluff them up once they dry. It just is so pretty. I love deep wave and, with my installs for curly hair I switched from using just mousse to using a cream um, some type of like cream. It hurt curl enhancing cream something I use the one from my yell. It'S the leave-in conditioner, the curl defining one. I love that stuff so much, and it literally makes my curls beautiful they last so much longer. They don't get super big and poofy. As you know, moose would just make it just puff right up. I don't like that. I, like my curls, that have a little bit more defined look and I feel like using curl um using cream based products will help the curls just last longer. This looks super healthy. I love that so use a cream product um. I recommend the Mayo one from the pomegranate line. That'S the one I love the best and then just going with your comb or your um brush. I use a brush to just brush out my hair, but that is basically what I'm doing y'all. That is basically a wrap for this video also, I actually did enjoy this hair. Y'All SVT is always an excellent company for wigs um. They are very affordable and this one's from AliExpress. So this is my first time trying them from that company and um on AliExpress, and I really did enjoy it so check them out guys. This is a really great hair company. I recommend it's definitely in my top five. I work with them plenty of times and I know they're lace. I know their hair, it always gives every single time the quality is consistent. You know how sometimes you buy hair from companies and it's not consistent and it just you know, changes every time you get a wig. You know one wig is great lace. Next wig is choppy lace, it looks a mess, so yeah get y'all some hair from SVT. I love them so much. This wig will be linked below closures are going to be great right now the fall is coming up. So if you don't want to do too much, you know frontals and all that closures are going to be it for the fall. For me, I'm sorry, I love a good closure. I'M not gon na lie like and now Dina got the 5x5 6x6. All that girl your whole hairline gon na be covered. So why get up front Okay? I love closures, so check this wig out y'all.
