FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ .............

1. How are silk base closure made?

Great question! I think I'm gonna post this in the description box. But they are vented the same way that lace closures are done. Check here on Youtube on "Venting Lace Closure or Lace Wigs" It's very easy just time consuming =) Silk base are also softer in feel than lace which is good for your hairline...lol =) Thanks for the question =)

Hey guys, I'm super excited about this series, because this series, as you have noticed from the title, the way, making 101 series - and this is really for you, ladies out there that are DIY wigmaker's. This can also help you, if you are weave maker too, because some of the information that I'm going to be doing in this series or talking about in the series, might also help you out too. But I'm really targeting those beginners. Those people who want to know a little bit more in depth about DIY wig making. Then you know the usual, and I know it's probably hard to find videos out there that just kind of describes every single thing out there, because it's a creative factor. But I'm gon na try to do that as best I can so with each video. I'M hoping that you guys would put questions in the comment box. So that'll help continue to kind of fuel this series, so those questions and those concerns and you know, could be answered. So today's lesson, I guess that's what I want to say, is about closures. So, let's start with the first one, the most common closures that are out there for those who don't like to use external closures is your own hair. Your own hair can be left out in the? U part wig or even, if you're doing a full weave, and you just want to leave some of your hair out. That'S considered a closure um. The benefits to that is, you don't have to worry about any external piece to attach to your hair or to your wigs or anything, and it just looks a little bit more natural. The con to that is, if you are a lady that does not have relaxed hair, you may possibly not all the time. Does this happen, but you may possibly deal with um heat damage from constantly flat ironing or applying heat to your natural hair. But if you could care less about that, you know how to protect it. Um it's a really good idea is to use your own hair. You wanted to look a little bit more natural. This closure is a indian remy closure. It'S considered to be a circle closure and let me open this. I got this from my local beauty. Supply store for $ 2.99 they're, very expensive, expensive, and I definitely put some links down in the description box on where you could find them. If you live outside of the United States, I'm pretty sure you could be able to find them on any kind of wig companies. We got Amazon and eBay, so you can't find these particular types of closures, but these closures are circle base um. This is not really considered lace. This is kind of like a netting, and you can just put this right in the top piece. I have one and this one I don't know how well you can see it um the benefits to this, your hair is protected. Definitely you don't have to worry about having your hair out dealing with. You know maintaining that it's just maintaining the closure itself. These are best for what I would consider banged, wigs or Chinese bang, wigs, because they're really just meant to sit to close the top part of your hair. So anything any weave or wigs that you're doing that's going to have a any kind of bang. Doesn'T matter. Um, these are great for that you can get them in different colors. If you want, and with most of them you can dye them as well. So this is a very inexpensive closure piece that you can find online or at some beauty supply stores in the United States. Next is the saga, Remi invisible part. I have an invisible part um. I purchased this invisible part from amazon.com um. I think it was only about thirty thirty dollars. It might been a little bit less than that, but um I'm gon na open this. So you guys can see what it looks like, but you can see the pictures on, I hope, is coming out pretty clear for you, but it's a nice big piece and invisible parts have been done for a long time. Most people have been doing them with their weaves and gluing them right in the center of their head to create this invisible part look, but they also have invisible part closure. So you don't have to worry about all that time-consuming layering of tracks on top of each other. If you don't know what I'm talking about guys, just researching on YouTube, invisible part, um weave or wigs or whatever, but this um, as you can see, this is the part right here on the back. I didn't want to take it a loose from it, but there's the netting, and you can actually sew this onto your hair, for a weave or onto a weaving cap if you're going to use it, as maybe a you part week. This is pretty good. If, for a better finish of your, u part wig, when you want to leave your own hair out, the track doesn't show because, as you can see, it doesn't have any hope you guys can see that doesn't have any tracks showing um benefits, hair out or not. Uh cons doesn't look that natural if done incorrectly, if it's done incorrectly or I guess in my opinion, if it's done either way, it goes it just sometimes to me, it just looks unnatural if you don't leave your own hair out at least a small portion of Your hair, it just looks too weird when someone's part, looks that perfect on their head and that's just my two cents on it. But yes, this is an invisible part of closure. I also have links down in the description box, of where you can find these they're inexpensively. I got mines from Amazon, you can also get them from eBay and I believe, there's like two more links in the description box where you can purchase these as well. The last closure that I have last but not least, is a lace closure and this is a milky way. Remi lace, closure as well, and I got this one off ebay, comm for about 40 bucks, so um. Let me see if I can open this right. So the saga, Remi lace closure - is packaged in this nice little big long box. Here it actually has the picture on the back of how you could use it. It has step-by-step directions and things like that. This is an example of what it looks like on this side: um lace, closure, the hairline you can see here - looks pretty nice but um. I believe this is like a 1b and it looks kind of like a light brown but um. You could get them darker than that too, but this is supposed to be a 1. I believe this is a 1b, but this is an example of what a lace closure looks like some benefits to a lace, closure um. You don't have to worry about the texture of your hair, trying to blend it into your other weave. That'S one thing on versatility in the party for some on lace closures. If they're a little bit wider than this, you don't necessarily have to have a center part. You can definitely have a side part or just move it over to the side. If you want to um some other benefits, you can color them uh and you just don't have to worry about having your hair out. It'S just low maintenance that um it's like putting a wig on that you purchased, except for in this case I'm talking about closures. You'Re using them to make your own wigs but um some cons to this um and I am going to do a video eventually about this lace. Closure, um, bleached knots a lot of times when they're, venting and created you know the knots. You can still see the knots in the hairline now this one has a really good hairline that you know I might have to pick through and try to make it look a little bit more natural, but I would definitely have to bleach the knots. So they look more real instead of looking at the scalping, you see these little balls of knots in the lace itself. So that's one of the cons is that it might be best to make it look a little bit more natural is to bleach the knots. That'S the only kind that I can say about it because it requires you having to do some work about it, but um yeah. This is an invisible part. Type lace closure. It'S a lace, closure, alright guys. So I hope this video was helpful. I wound up kind of make it straight to the point, especially since it's the first video and you guys didn't really get a chance to ask questions about closures. So what I would like for you to do, if you have any questions, go ahead and put them in the comment. I mean yeah comment about it put in the comment box and what I'll do is I'll answer the question and post it in the description box. So other people can see and reference them also, if you have comments anything that could help other people out, please send it my way, comment about it and allow me to put it in the description box, so other people can read it. I know people will look through the comment box and probably look and see other people's comments and that's good. But if it's good information I would love to put it in the description box. So sometimes that's the first place that people can kind of look and see. Um, the next video that I do plan on doing is about caps the different types of caps that you can use for DIY wig making. So if you guys have any questions concerning about the caps um where to find them all of those things, please leave that question in the description bar up in the comment box. That way, I can do it for the next video, because the next video I plan to do is about um caps and there is a big difference between a spandex cap and a dome cap know if everybody knows that, but I want to make sure I address That in the next video um other than that, I hope this is very helpful. Guys um make sure you check in the description box right now, because I have links to those closures, mainly the last three that was just mentioned. I have links to those closures where you can find them at an affordable price. The highest. You probably will see that you'll find them for the lace. Closure is about 55 dollars the longer they are as far as the length of the hair a little bit more expensive. They are, but these closures are not that expensive. You do not have to get them that expensive, they're, remy, hair, they're, really good texture. I'Ve never had problems with them because I've been using them for a while, and I just want to share with you guys so hope. This video helps out. I will see you in the next video of this series. Yeah talk to you guys later bye, you

My only question is that I have to constantly be cautious about my little problem of overheating and perspiring in my face and wanted to know if that lace will come off if I have one too many of my hot flashes.

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Actually Yes! You can use a mesh cap to make a wig. Also, I dont sew wigs to my hair at all! I am natural and I like to be able to get to my hair to care for it properly =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Thanks! You can do either of the two options that you mentioned or just leave it along and get another wig until you are tired of that one and want to wear your curly one again.....lol xoxoxo

Josie Vidal: your playlist is AMAZING thank you!

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Great question! I think I'm gonna post this in the description box. But they are vented the same way that lace closures are done. Check here on Youtube on "Venting Lace Closure or Lace Wigs" It's very easy just time consuming =) Silk base are also softer in feel than lace which is good for your hairline...lol =) Thanks for the question =)

ritarac77: I enjoyed the video and I am looking forward to the next

P Redding: I love this channel. You are great! I jus subbed. Question, Can you do a vid on creating a full lace wig? Or jus how to convert a u-part into having the front & back laced? Thanks!

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: No problem =) The one that I have shown I have gotten from amazon. I just provided more links of where you can find affordable lace closures =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Thanks and yes it is! Its called venting...check it out here on youtube...there are a few ladies that show you how to hand make lace wigs...which is the same technique to make a lace closure. It is very time consuming....lol. =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Check out the other videos in my wig making playlist. I have tutorials on this how I applied the lace closure piece that you see in this video =)

Kaila New York: great video, very informative

Helen G: Very informative. Thanks.

LaTrina johnson: this was great tip for me to start making my wig

Aisha Bee: You have purchased a closure from amazon. I was wondering how that one turned out. Is it still good?

Tonya Ailey: Omg. Soooooo helpful. Loving ur videos

Nkechi Enwereji: Great video I'm jus wondering how would you bleach the knots on the lace closure? Is it the same Way as bleaching the knots on a regular closure?

Fabrise88: Tip I read somewhere that you can dye lace closures with tea bags just boil the tea bag & dip it on the closure till you get your desired shade to match your scalp.

70’s Fashion &Hair Channel: hello i have a question, does the saga remy lace closure come in 5 by 5 so i would have more parting space? and is it small to medium density? . i was concerned about the size because my hair line is thin especially on the side edges and i need to know that i will be able to sew on the lace closure, also do these closures come with baby hairs and does the closure part easily if i want part it without parting it down the middle? Sorry im asking so many questions im new to this..

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: You are welcome and thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any questions =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: OOO! All good questions and I am doing videos about this right now....lol. So please hang tight. Check here on youtube...there are videos adding lace closures to wigs and how to bleach the knots =) I like to use wig combs instead of wig clips to avoid stressing the edges of my hair. You can also just do an anchor braid on the perimeter of your head and sew the wig down or add an elastic band to your wig. =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Thanks =) Have you checked out the rest of the videos in my wig making playlist? I have already done a video on making a lace closure and installing it with a wig??!!! That idea is more afforable. I will see about creating a full lace wig.....however that can get a bit exspensive so I'm not sure about doing a video on that any time soon =( But thanks for watching and make sure to check out the other videos =)

JayBoss White: When i make my wigs i always have a problems with the shower cap sticking. How do I avoid that?

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: I really like using the glue gun on the circle closure. However, I am sure you can do the same for the invisible part closure, but I would recommend sewing the closure down first for the lace closure, I wouldnt use glue for that one =)

Sheila Nelson: Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Great information.

kameisha Scott: Love the video helpful info

bgjblue: Definitely need to know where I can find the wig caps. The beauty supply stores around here only seem to have the nylon kind. I tried a skull cap for men but the one I used had elastic around the edges and ended up being too tight after I made the wig. I have had one before (men's) without elastic a few years ago, but just cant seem to find that kind now. Your videos are VERY helpful. Didn't know they made closures with parts! I have hair loss in the front/top and think these would be great!

Myra Manuel: thank you sooooo much!! that was good help!!

Tameka Tucker: Hi first off I love your tutorials....now I love doing hair, been doing hair for bout 15yrs. I can do my own hair but never tried making a wig for my head....my question is my hair line is very low almost an inch away from my eyebrows on each side and I just have a little u formed fore head. How can I make my wig with the closure on a dome cap with it looking realistic as possible

imme8911: keep up the great work

Bigliltyni: Finally a series that can help me

jerickzane: I heard from another wig making channel, Japanese swim caps are wonderful for wig making.

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Done!....lol. It will be posted on Sun or Monday. Got some good tips on which one to use for what method...I hope it will be helpful for you =) Thanks for watching and dont be afraid to ask questions =)

Becky D: Can you share a link of the eBay one you shared? Or the name of the seller/store? Chances are they might not be in business anymore or it might be updated but if you happen to have a link on eBay showing what you shared or something similar on eBay that would be outstanding! I'm going to watch the rest of all your wig videos!!!

sunkistsugar: when I made my first wig (sewing) with a stocking cap it shrunk and wouldn't fit. do you have any pointers so I can improve next time??

Haneefah Myers: hello what is the best type of lace closure to create bangs?

Dani G: What should I use to protect my hair before putting on a wig. Because I notice that since I been wearing my wig I made my edge are coming out.

Sandra Magalhaes: I LOVE THIS VIDEO.. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT... THANKS FOR SHARING... Im from switzerland and its pretty hard for a black girls hair out here.. its hard to find things coz swiss people dont give a god damn shit about black hair or wigs or anything.. BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Thanks for watching =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: LOL! thanks...I usually use about 2 1/2 to 3 bundles. One 18", one 16", and one 14". =)

OriginalRoyalte: Thanks for these videos

usual suspect: Is it possible to choose the density of the hair in a lace closure? Who sells that kind of products? Because I don't want too much hair on the top of the head. And I don't want to pluck such a quantity of hair Thanks for an answer

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: There are plenty of video on bleaching knots. However, I have used these closures before and found that the ones that I have (particularly the Saga Remy Lace Closure) did not need the knots bleached =)

dollbaby4400: Great Vid..thanks for sharing..Blessings.Doll

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Aww thanks and you are welcome.....I LOVE helping people and bein personable. Its so hard to find caring people these days =)

Mona Montrope: First you are a very pretty girl. I am suffering from hairloss and have been using wig for the past two years. this has picked my interest in making wigs and began searching for wig making videos. I have never made a wig. where do i start though, that is do you have videos for beginers in sequential order.

Rachel RoseLynn: how can you make your own circle closure?

Bawse Designz: I am Loving you videoes.......very helpful

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Hey! I have good news for you. I have a video on my channel on how to make your own lace/invisible part closure and it is for beginners =D Go and check it out =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Hey! I have good news for you. I have a video on my channel on how to make your own lace/invisible part closure and it is for beginners =D Go and check it out =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: I mentioned that I provided the links in the description box and I mentioned what I paid for it in the video =)

Michele Childers: I am also hoping for a half-wig or just top covering tutorial?  I am having serious hair loss in the front and my part is widening, but I have plenty of my own hair on the sides and in the back and would like to leave my hair out rather than having to dye it to match a full wig and leaving it out underneath the full wig.

Tima: Ahhhh i swear i love u!! Im soo a fan :)(: glad i came across your channel

stillettopumps86: OMG OMG OMG....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A SILK LACE CLOSURE!!!???? I KNOW U can do it!! i just know it! =D

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Try putting the wig on your head then applying the closure while it is on your head. Apply a little water or heat pressure on the closure to flatten it some as well. Sometimes the cone head affect comes from placing the closure too high on the wig (right where your head peaks)....lol

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: I have not tried to do that myself, however there is a video on youtube of someone bleaching the knots on the closure so check that out =)

Kelli-Kay: Where was I when you posted these videos?  Thank you for the info!

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Wow Thanks =)

BeautyCutright - Beauty . Fashion . Lifestyle: Yay! Cool! thanks for watchin =)
