Hey everybody welcome back to tessa's weight closet at wink studio one. Today i present a brand new style by raquel welch for fall 2022. This one is called candid capture it's in the ss 613, which is their platinum. This is supposed to be a short textured. Layered pixie cut we're going to check it out right from the box coming up. This wig style was set to me by weak studio one, so i could try it before you buy it. All of the links are listed below the video. If you expand the description box i'll, attach a direct product link there. If you click on that link, it will take you out to the wig studio. One website you can explore all of the colors and the pricing. If you have any questions for us, please reach out to support wigstudio1.com and don't forget to visit us on facebook. There'S a private facebook group called wig studio, one wig and topper support group and follow the instagram page by wig studio, one they're, always putting up brand new content all the time to give you the best. Look at these wig styles. Alright, let's get started with our unboxing of candid capture, another pixi cut by raquel welch. We just had chic it up, which was, i think it was online sales for a really long time or maybe it was in-store sales and then it just came available for online. So this is available online and regular, brick and mortar retails. The net did slip off, but there was a net there. Okay, just let me look it over real, quick, okay. So, let's check out the cap first um. I am not going to make any adjustments to this i'll place it on and give you an assessment of the fit immediately. So here's what we have, we have a temple to temple extended lace front. So if you remember the chic, it up was just open cap. This one, then, is open top sides and back it also has an extended felted nape with velcro style adjusters, a part of their memory cap series, so you'll see the silicone along the elastic on the wefting. That should give you a nice comfortable, secure, fit okay and let's go ahead and attempt to remove these tags to get them out of the way. This one looks like it's going to cooperate with me here: yay, okay, so let's do this. This is the shaggiest pixie. I have probably ever seen from any brand: let's try it on. Oh, my gosh, okay, guys! Is anybody old enough to remember those old pencil top or pencil eraser toppers when you go like this and the trolls hair or whatever it was, went all over the place? That'S what this reminds me of, and i know what you're thinking like no thank you, but i beg you to wait because we're gon na we're gon na work with this um, however difficult it might be we're gon na work with it. This is exactly why i wanted to bring this one out of the box to show you, because a lot of these pixies that are not a mono, top or mono part are going to have a lot of permatease and volume and they're a little more difficult to Work with so that's why we did that the fit the fit seems a little large on me. There'S a lot of stretch on this uh, so i'm going to have to make a sizable adjustment just to accommodate a petite average circumference. I would say that this is more suitable for average large than it would be for petite or petite average. So let's go ahead first things first, because if i'm going to be working with this style, i cannot have it rolling around. It has to be secure. Okay, ear, tabs firm and flat against the head right in front of the ear nape pulled down over the occipital bone lays front while i'm up here what i don't like about just a shallow lace front, and then it immediately goes into an open cap, is when They overload it with permatease. This one feels overloaded with permatease. I don't think they needed this much, because what happens is it lays flat for about a quarter of an inch back, and then it immediately springs up and out. These types of styles are very difficult to manage. The fiber itself isn't too thick. The permatease, i would imagine, helps do a few things, so it helps obscure the wefting. It helps sustain the volume of this style. This is a very voluminous textured pixie. It'S got to be your taste, so i immediately start working on it by sandwiching that permatease between my hands and my head, this, the heat uh, that's applied. There will shrink it a little bit now. This is not a permanent fix, but it does help to me. Sculpt, my styles, so by working with that side first, i should be able to get it into something: wearable, okay, but look at that. This only weighs about two and a half ounces. It feels really lightweight on, but again there is a lot of permatease to contend with that front piece is about 3.75, the crown is 3.75, the sides in the back are 3.75 and then there's a 2.75 inch nape. So all of that layering and then it's been extremely texturized like i said this is an extreme amount of texturizing going on, and if we can harness this, if we can control this, it shouldn't be really super cute um, just a matter of controlling that right. It'S not a high density, but the permatease kind of makes it look that way. Okay before we go any further - and i forget - let's chat about this ss613 uh, shaded, platinum or ss platinum now, this is a very warm light blonde and i think um. This particular platinum just goes to show that all platinums are not cool, they can be warm and, as a matter of fact, the 613, i always thought of as like a baby gold blonde, a really soft light, warm baby, gold, blonde um and that's what this is To me um, so i think, there's a couple different highlights a medium and a light baby gold blonde there giving it a nice warm look and the root is a medium golden brown root. I'M going to attempt to work with this, just with the heat of my hands, to see what i can do, but this is a heat friendly style, so this is made from the true to life fiber by raquel welch, which is heat friendly. You can use your heat tools on this, so if you need a little help, don't be afraid to reach out to you know that flat iron or that curling iron or whatever you may need to make this style into something wearable for you. So the first thing that i did was worked on that above the ear and temple area. The next thing i want to do is just pull down some hair from fiber hair fiber right there at the hairline, and i also want to press on that to keep that flat against the head, because i don't want it all. Sticking up that doesn't look natural at all. Does it and it's not very flattering besides being natural right, so i'm just going to sandwich that between two heat sources here, okay! Now? What do i want to do with this top i'm going to come to an a parting space, because this one doesn't really have to have a parting space, but i always like to create one just so that it gives me a start on how to divide it Out and around my face, so it looks like it's just a little bit right of center here, i'm just going to play with that option by pulling those apart pulling that apart a little bit and then i'm just going to twist, i'm going to use a twisting Motion around the face, this is going to help it come into line. Trust me if you are not in command of your wig, your wig is going to be in command of you. That'S not good! I'M going to continue to work that permatease by working it. I just mean pressing down and shrinking it in certain places, let's start by tucking fluffing, just under the crown and then swirling back around the ear, a more sculpted look. I can't see that very well in the camera, because the camera gets really dark in response to the lighting. So so i have no idea what this is going to look like in editing, but i'm going to go by instinct here: lots you can do. You can use water, you could use styling paste if you wanted those bangs to come straight down, you're going to have to use a flat iron or curling iron to bring those down there's only so much. I can do here with the heat from my hand, but it's better right. I love the shock factor. Sometimes when you get it out of the box and like i can take those risks, because this wig was sent to me for this review right. So if i don't like this wig, if i decide not to wear it, then i'm not out the money, but you would be um even with a generous returns policy. You know there's time and maybe a little money involved. So this is the beauty of wig reviews. So i think i have it to a place right now, where i could head out to the grocery right. I would have no shame in that. This has a punk rock kind of kind of appeal to it. Um all those nearly four inch layers in all this spiky texture kind of a david bowie or a um, because the white wedding guy that i'm thinking of back in the 80s so yeah. I guess it does have a little bit of a retro flare. That way. Doesn'T it all right? So we've talked about all the details here. You'Ve seen me work this style a little bit and again your heat tools. Your products are going to go a long way here, but it's a cute little textured pixie. If you like texture, you're gon na love, it you're gon na love it you're gon na have fun working it. I always like to begin the styling segment with a test on glasses. I got my purple readers here. It goes with my outfit and my jewelry today: okay, that's not bad between the ear and the ear tab. So there's a lot of permatease all over this cat, but the fact that there's not a large density of hair right there and i can get a tuck and it looks like a pretty secure fit with glasses. Most pixies tend to be that way and it's cute all right, so i'm just gon na move this around don't be shocked. You can make it into something that is of your taste and preference, be sure to visit the links below this video out to wig studio. One and thank you again for joining me today, at taz's wig closet at wig studio. One. Do you

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: REMINDER! NOT EVERYONE will like and enjoy EVERY WIG! I present the style so you can decide for yourself as we all have different tastes and preferences! If you don't like the wig, great! I just saved you some of your hard-earned money, right?! My job is to present the wigs! NO NEED to bash a wig or a retailer.. negative and disrespectful comments have NO PLACE here. XOXO TAZ

Dee Roga Tory: I only wish my Mom was alive to see this wig. This was her hair to a t. Very straight, very fine and toward the later part of her life it started falling out but she worked with it. Mom could have rocked this style and no one would have had any idea. There is a style for everyone out there now, where as just 5-10 years ago there was not. I'm so grateful for that.

London Jean Semberg: Not everyone wants a neat style. This is for the ones with some rock and roll in their souls! Taz does a great job showcasing and REVIEWING all sorts of styles! It’s not a fashion show; it’s a help for you to see these styles IRL so you can decide weather you want to purchase or not. Personally, I think this style, particularly in this colour, is fun!

Twyla 2: Haha, looks like one of my old Toni Brattin wigs hung upside down and all clumpy! If anyone can rock this style it's you Taz! You are such a trooper for taking this one on.

swineinny1: I’d say if you’re gonna fight too much & flatten it, this one isn’t for you. That’s what Mom was doing with her Voltage & she realized it wasn’t right for her. Yup, it’s very Bowie or Billy Idol! Not sure it’s your style, but you got it looking cute on you! Ground Control to Major Tom . . .

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: This reminds me so much of Serving Style by Gabor that I won. But this one a bit longer especially in the back. I saw that one out of the box on another retailer and I thought this would scare a first time wig wearer to death! In fact, if I didn't have experience working with hard to manage wigs I'd prolly send back. Thank you for showing it for what is really is out of the box and trying to help ladies see what they are going to experience if they purchase.

Tbascoebuzz: LOLOL, you are just SO much fun…and yes, being 71 now, I do remember those Troll erasers and dolls vividly. What I appreciate most about this review is to ‘not give up’. Don’t be too quick to judge or get frustrated. Don’t allow the wig to command you. You Taz, and you alone have taught me how many options there are to styling a wig and how quickly the look can change, and for that alone, THANK YOU! I appreciate you making your reviews realistic by taking a wig right out of the box for the first time. I love that you can have fun and laugh. You make me smile…God bless. ✨

Sharon England: That is great Taz! You definitely made my day and made me laugh. You did get it to look good. Thank you. I have had a rough month and that laugh was just what I needed

Mysta Chambers: Good morning Taz, you are so gracious and kind about your reviews. This RW style is not a home run in my opinion. You did amazing job from unboxing to bring this one alive. Thank you for reviewing this one and sharing your thoughts. Have a blessed day. XXOO

Mint: Hi Taz, you bet it’s retro! This was my hair except mine was red 40 years ago. Ala Billy Idol, Rod Stewart and others that had our hearts pumping! I’ve heard that if you’ve lived through a trend you shouldn’t wear it the second time around. I don’t exactly agree. For instance the bob is classic. However spikes will always be a rocker chic look. Just don’t know how it’d be now on me. It sure was fun when I was 30! Love you, Sharon ❤️xo

Terry Sue Makes Videos For You: This is great for someone! I am glad that Raquel Welch makes wigs for everyone. Love your videos!

Barbara Wagoner: I think you're awesome!this Raquel Welch's Wig was definitely a Rod Stewart look, but Her styles are very much for the seasonal wig wearer that can see what it's really going to be when you know all these tips ! Great Job Taz..all done with the heat of your hands! Thank-you for always Showing all We Can do no matter how shocking it may be at first glance ! Blessings to you and All of your family!!!

Michelle Diekman: I love your reaction when you first put it on! Yes the Eraser Trolls You did a Great job with it, looks very Nice after you tamed it Love and& Hugs

Pam Genovese: Kudos to Taz for trying to make lemonade out of a lemon! If it weren't so expensive, it would be a terrific wig for Halloween!

G: I actually like this, permatease and all! It reminds me of Madam Hooch from Harry Potter. I've known many women in real life who had this EXACT haircut. It would not look good on me, but I think for the right person, this is a great style. It seems like some water and styling wax would help get the most out of this one.

DeNora Kuschel: Taz, this is not one of my favs from RW. But if anyone could make it work...it's you!

Clara: I would have been in a right flap if had bought this wig that's for sure but well done Taz for manipulating her so well

Pia Padmore: This is so very nice of you Taz, to do this for us

Kimc GARYC: Thanks for the twisting tip! Beautiful color on you. I could definitely see this wig working in special situations.

popgems: You get an A for effort on this one Taz!

Carol Serafin: Since I'm new to wig wearing, this one would have scared me, lol. Not for me, but love it once you tamed it! And thanks for those techniques on how to.

K P: My aunt had hair like this. She chain smoked Winstons and it makes me wish this wig’s name was Winston! Lol! I’m not sure ANYONE other than Taz could pull this off!

Barbara Wagoner: It's really something Taz that you got Raquel Welch's Wig, out of the box and it looked like a Rod Stewart style! You. Showed us that no matter how a wig comes out of a box',we usually get what we see and if we don't like it, keep the tags on and do the simple things you do, then the wig reacts to our warm clean hands!and I thought it was a wig style maybe not for me but Very Rockin style and Modern! I learned to be patient and work with my wigs ! Another great review

Gaining wisdom: I had to laugh at the memories of the pencil toppets! LOL In all seriousness even though it was a shocked at first and gave me some big Tina Turner vibes. I was thinking as you were forming it into shape, WOW , if that's what can be done with no mirror, product or heat tools, just think of all the possibilities and different transformations with a mirror and other tools at our disposal. There are styles that may not appeal to everyone, but those same styles do appeal to many. Sometimes we are so quick to day no, that we lose out on what could really be done with so many styles. I'd love to see a short video of what it would look like after you had time with a mirror etc, just to show everyone that just because it comes out of the box looking a lip wild, it can be transferred! Kudos to you for transforming that into a doable look basically blind! Thanks for a great learning video Taz! XOXO

Donna Nye: Your great to watch with this wig! I was a hairdresser years ago and this one would have tried my patience lololol

Ikn0wn0w: Right out of the box that wig looks so DRY... and like it has d-a-y-s of product in it. I love spikey, textured styles, but not this one. Thank you for showing it.

Jean Jacobs: Wow, Taz....! Um, let it never be said that you weren't up for a challenge!! Love and blessings ♥️

Elle Holmes: Good for a giggle! I don’t want to look like the end of a twirly pencil. You’re so pretty, this looks as good on you as it possibly can.

brenda smith: I agree with you Taz, if you don’t like it, don’t buy.

Belgium Girl: Very Cute, Totally reminds me of my wig, Lizzie!

Gloria Lagroon: Happy Tuesday Taz! Oh I really like it! Very Tina Turner and Rod Stewart! You rock this style Taz! I would definitely wear it. You did an awesome job with the review and fixing her up! Thank you. Much Love my friend!

Teri Mobley: I laughed at your initial reaction because mine was the same

Marcia McCoy: Oh my goodness, what were they thinking?!?! This is the second review of this wig I've seen. The other was as confused with it as you!

Cheryl Kitchen: I appreciate your optimism and positive attitude. Definitely Billy Idol-ish

A Sou: Definitely not a wig I would purchase. I think Raquel Welch needs to rethink this one. I give you kudos for trying to make it work. Lol.

Martha Gutierrez: You’re very creative

Michelle Diekman: I sent it before I finished!

Janean: oh bless your heart, Taz! A darker color would be a good idea & maybe wax, huh? Hair U Wear what we're you thinking? Rod Stewart?

Margaret Tassey: Thanks for the review. Reminds me of Tina Turner and the troll erasers.

Carole Thurston: O.... that's about all I can say about this wig not for me but just maybe someone might like it

krawl b4 Walking: this would work be dynamic for someone. It’s pretty cool that it looks very real, from this side of the screen.

Maria Barradas: This was so funny, with some work she will get there, maybe but does RW really has a wig that comes out from the box like that?...Ok, it really requires some work, it reminds me of my Toni Brattin Trendesetter but mine out of the box was amazing, a breeze to wear, soft and not work needed, sure I am old enough to remember those pencils, they were fun, so is this wig...thanks for sharing and showing her to us...now we know...Dying to see the review of head P...coming soon, hugs

Matty Caff: I thought you could make any wig look good. In this case, I was wrong. tee hee

Natasha Semenova: Reminds me of Rod Stewart hair but you make anything look good Taz xoxo

Karen Fiddy: Second review I’ve seen on her , not for me ..but nicely done Taz

Rain Hazelton: Well that was interesting...bless your heart.

Lisa Perduk: Yay! First comment! Love you Taz!

Marisa Licata: Thank you . Not for me but that is ok.

Beverly Lashley: Shades of Phyllis Diller!!

Jen Girouard: It’s cute but just a little over-done.

Soozi LaSarge: Only beautiful you could pull this off

Jaye: You look like you really don't like the wig Taz. But no matter what wig you put on you look good in it!

Susan Deneen: Guy Fieri! That’s all I can think of…

Lia💜: You're too cute for it

Jackie Ireland: What wig is letter O

Suzanne Dawson: Blonde!

Joyce Cummings: Look dry.
