Glueless 6X6 Lace Closure Wig Install + Elastic Band & Plucking Closure Ft. Asteria Hair

Watch how to pluck a lace closure like a frontal from start to finish. I also show how to add an elastic band into a wig using a sewing machine. This easy glueless install is simple to follow. I bleached the lace closure knots then toned them and used tweezer man tweezers to pluck frontal to perfection! I added layers (thanks to @slayedbyjordan) and body curls for this look, I hope you guys enjoy this video!

FAQs:

Where are you from? South Florida

What's your ethnicity? I'm Haitian-American

How tall are you? 5'9

Hey everyone in this video I'll be showing you all how I install this glueless wig from Assyria hair company. This is their 6x6 closure way. This is in the body wave pattern and it is 24 inches. This is how the wig came packaged. Of course the lid came and it's you know, standard plastic bag within hair net and all that good stuff. They also sent some goodies, as you guys can see. They included an elastic band, silk scarf eyelashes, a brown wig cap, and they also had an instruction card on how to take care of maintain your wig and they also have a silk bag where you can store your wig. So I got the 6 by 6 closure. Wig length 24 inches and the density is 180 percent, the wig lace is transparent and the hairline was pre plugged. The 180 % density is very, very, very full and it's perfect for those who don't like bulky or like super full wigs. But just enough - and this is how much least you have so the the last man that they included and I'm not going to use it to install into the wig. I'M actually gon na use the elastic band that my company actually offers for custom wigs and for what it's ready to wear wigs. So if you're interested definitely check out my website down below. So I'm just going to pretty much mark my placement for the elastic band by using this metallic sharpie, and that just lets me know and pretty much indicates where I'm going to so because I am going to be using the sewing machine. So the same thing that I did on that other side, I'm going to do on this side just to kind of prepare myself to you know, get ready to sew. So I take the space from where I pretty much marked. I take the hair out of that that space pretty much that's what I was trying to show you guys, so that is clear and that my machine doesn't snag any hair, as I am sewing the elastic band on. So I'm just going to go, go ahead and just Baxter, maybe two to three times just to ensure that the the elastic band is actually sewn and secured. So the same thing that I do for my custom, wigs am I ready to wear wigs. I do for my clients, custom, wigs and for my customers who order wigs and want you know, wanted glueless pretty much. I add the elastic beam or an adjustable band, so this is the same exact thing that I do for my clients and customers and pretty much once I'm done doing this, I'm going to go ahead and bleach the knocks on my closure and I'm going to show You all how I plug I like to use tweezerman tweezers, but I went on Amazon and I came across a good, comparable dupe. It'S called tweezer guru, so I'm using their tweezers in this video. It'S a little bit more affordable, but it works pretty pretty well. So I did least not on my closure, but for some reason these knots are pretty stubborn. So after I pluck I'm going to bleach the knot again, so I'm pretty much showing you all how I do it. I take off like the baby hairs or like the very front of the hairline. I remove that well separate it from the rest of the hair pretty much, and I pluck behind the pre plucked part of the closure, and I can't express this enough - do not stay in one spot. Guys try to go side to side when it comes to plucking, because if you stay in one spot you're going to over plug, it's inevitable, try moving side to side. You know it just helps without, but it just helps eliminate. You know over plucking. You don't want to do that because then your closure is going to look balding and it's not going to last as long so don't over plug just try to go back and forth. You know side-to-side and then after I comb off that excess hair, I'm going to part again, you guys can already see the difference after I plug. So I'm going to show you guys what I do once I'm done. I kind I feel like I over plucked a little bit. I don't know loke I feel like over pluck, but just to, let you guys know, don't do it, but, as you guys can see, there's like those two little areas in front right there. Those those are the areas that I'm gon na go back in and kind of plug just a tad bit, because I don't want it to be too full in that spot and yeah. So this is pretty much what I do you know pluck and then, like I said, I went back in and I bleached not again and I pin curled my wig and I took out some baby hairs and all that good stuff. So right now I'm just putting on my makeup on my wig cap. You know just to kind of make sure everything is a seamless blend everytime. I feel like I'm looking cute. I do this kissy face, so you guys are gon na see that all throughout this video - so I am gon na put this wig on, but not until I put a little bit more powder on the lace, because transparent lace comes off a little white. If you ask me transparently, it's my favorite lace personally, because it really gives me the melting effect, so there's medium brown lace, which is the Swiss lace and then there's HD lace. I don't like HD lace because it's super thin and it rips easily, but transparent lace is my favorite lace. I am going to use the got to be free spray to help adhere the lace down for a little while, like while I'm wearing the wig, and I am going to use that elastic band that came with the wig to kind of just help. It melt a tad bit longer and I keep the band tied on for roughly five minutes. My younger brother came in bothering me so you guys are gon na hear some of what were you talking about [ Laughter, ], I'll check on the chair so yeah? I am Haitian it, no one knew so I was speaking Creole but yeah. So now I'm taking this eyebrow raiser and I'm just cutting off the lace. Excess least I am gon na be cutting off some of my baby hair, which is fine, because I don't want too many hairs in my baby hairs that I'm gon na be working on you guys during this entire quarantine or you know, staying inside and staying home. I have been perfecting installing closure wigs on myself, so that I am able to provide this service for my clients, my local clients, and I can't freaking, wait to just take off and do this thing like o-m-g, so yeah, I'm taking the tweezers finding out stay here. They'Re gon na our younger brother he's back but and I'm using my got to be gel and I am setting the baby hairs into place and I feel like I did a really really good job. Y'All gon na see my happy dance in a second because I felt like I did so good a so after I did the other side. I took that elastic band again in I tied down the baby hairs being that I process the knot twice. I kind of over process the the knots a little bit more, so I'm going in with my my eyeliner marker to kind of just thin the part just a little bit. You can also use hair dye and I'm also going to use some of my face powder to kind of have the least match my skin tone and I went ahead and I took out the pins. I combed out my curls and I watched slay by Jordan and he showed me how to layer a bed and yeah. This is a final look. I hope that you guys enjoy this video I'll leave the link to this link down below and I'll see you guys in my next video bye,
