People are not talking about, and that is a silk based closure. Wig, honey, silk based cloture wigs were poppin at one point in time, because they basically got rid of the bald cap method, but they're back they're back and they're here to stay. We all need to talk about it. We really do so today, we'll be talking about pros and cons who should be buying a silk based, wig and basically, all the specs. You need to know before you buy one we'll also be getting some details about this silk face unit. Yes, honey, she's, just silk facing in it, okay from sunburnt hair. So what would this video be? If i wasn't putting on a silk base unit myself here, she is y'all. This is what she's looking like. We'Ve got. The blonde highlights in the front to add a little pizzazz. She is 24 inches y'all. She is giving me body. This is the box that she came in. They also sent these as well with her, and these are just wraps too so when i tie the wig down one whole thing and it's super long y'all, i love this okay. This is so cute. First of all, because obviously y'all can see, i love pink and purples. It'S long enough. So if you want to tie it like around your head twice honey, you could do that. Look, you could do that. Look. You could do that and then it came with a wig cap, of course, but i already have a wig cap on y'all, so we'll just stash this away somewhere safe. So some more details on this wig is that this is what the silk base closure is. Looking like you guys, i'm not gon na lie. This wig does not have a lot of hair in the front in terms of plucking areas that i've seen on a lot of silk based closure wigs, so i'm going to try my best not to pluck it. It also has these baby hairs in the front. You guys kind of like flyaways and that's a little bit frustrating because it is taking up space on the wig. But you know, i guess we're going to use some wax and try to fix that, because either way we got to talk about silk base closure, wigs y'all. We'Re going to get into the depths of this video and i'm going to put this wig on and start installing her, so we can talk about if a silk face, closure wig is for you or not honey. So the first thing i think we should discuss. Oh, by the way, this is the wig okay. I know y'all see that way, anyways. So the first thing i think we should discuss is what is a silk base: closure, wig, okay, silk based closure. Wig is a wig with a closure as such and to show the closer in bart. In particular, this? U right here this shape, that makes a! U is the actual closure area you guys and what they mean by silk face. Is this little light or skin did kind of area that basically goes under your part to make it seem more scalp like on top of the wig, of course, you'll have your knot that are attached to your lace and you'll also be able to see the silk Base from under your lace now, the wig that i do have is not a free part: silk based lace closure, as most lace closures are. That means the hair right under the middle part that is attached to the lace has a track that follows right, underneath it as you guys, can see right here. So this is not a free part. This is actually a tea party. Soap based lace, closure. Now some things about the silk based lace closure is that it offers you the opportunity to have something under there. Instead of a wig cap, that already looks like scalp and it takes care of the problem of doing the bald cap method. So it's just connected in your wig great things about this is that you can wash your wig and it shouldn't come out if it's a legit one also it becomes easier to blend with your skin, because there is that base underneath it. So the makeup doesn't necessarily seep through and it'll. Give you less of a grid. Look once you do decide to apply makeup up there. Cons about this is that you don't really get to bleach or not because of the silk fish under there. You really want to look for wigs with bleached knots. This wig, of course, does not have bleach not, but there are some that do and that already gives you that scalp like appearance, you guys. So, if you're looking for a silk face, lash closure tip number one. Look for bleach knot and if it doesn't have it remember, we can always fix it. I'M going to show you guys how to fix that. Um i've encountered a lot of wigs that don't have it, but i have encountered some that do so. Those that do big thumbs up for the hair companies for y'all doing that thumbs down for y'all, not doing that, because that's the whole point of the silk face to make it look like scalp. Why not just bleach the nuts okay? Now, let's talk about? Who should be buying a silk based lace, closure or your reason for buying it? So i feel like: silk based lace. Closures are for your girls that do not have as much weight customization skills you guys. So, by that i mean, can you pluck a wig to make it look natural in your head? Do you know how to do the bald cap method faithfully and intuitively? Do you know how to apply your wig with glue and do you know how to install a frontal and if all you answered was no? No, no girl, stick-based lace? Clothes are gon na treat you real right. Okay: silk: face lace, closures: silk base, lace, silk, base; silk; base, lace, closures, lace closures will be the best thing for you, so if you're bad at plucking, that's okay, because you only have this much space to work with, like literally this much and a lot of Them will come pre-plugged if not um. All you have to do is a little bit of plucking and a little bit can just make it look just right. So soap based lace closures, probably be the best for you. Another great thing about them is that once you make it do what to do honey, it's done so when you take that wig off and you wash it and you put it back on, especially with tea part soap based lace, closures. You already have your part there. So all you have to really really do is reapply your wig melt it and put the makeup back on and you're good to go. Let me start applying this wig y'all like for real for real. I obviously don't know how to apply a wig and doll. Yes, yes, the plug-in's way too much for you or you feel like plucking, is a highly advanced skill. You may want to go with a silk based lace, closure that is pre-plugged it'll, save you time, it'll save you, the heartache and you'll be able to get it done. Okay, y'all! Now i want to talk about styling one, because, obviously that's what i'm about to do so. Here'S the gag a lot of people think that if you get a silk based, lace closure, especially a tea part, you can't make it look natural and or you can't get it to lay flat. My experience with silk based lace closures that are tea part, is that if you go in and you take your time flat iron or you hot comb, each piece that is under your part that you will be able to flatten that homie out. Okay, trust me, you will be silk based lace closures will shorten your time as far as all the customizations that you will need to do. It will extremely extremely shorten your time. For the most part i can put on my silk face: lace: closure without recording in about 30 minutes from it being washed and blow-dried. I can put it on and have it styled in about 30 minutes. You want me to make a video on that. I do it, i prove it to y'all with silk base closures. You only have a little bit of lace to work with, like you actually leave it. There did y'all just hear my dad make a freaking amazon make a freaking announcement to the house ridiculous. So if you're worried about that, you don't have to worry anymore. Just get a silk face. Do a little bit of customizations to a little area of your head and also save your edges. Sis save your got! Darn edges! Sorry, you guys um! I ended up plucking. The wig off camera, but we're gon na keep on installing this wig and talking about silk bases. Okay, so no lie you guys: silk base wigs will last longer than your frontal wigs. That'S like really something to keep in mind when you're, comparing prices and when you're, comparing what types of wigs that you're going to get so because they have less lace. Their knots are usually not dyed and the knots are even protected with the silk base. Your wig won't experience as much wear and tear as say like a full closure wig or a full lace, wig, a frontal lace, wig or a regular closure without the soap face. I know i got this glue all in my hair and y'all gon na say something, but it's gon na work. It'S gon na work so because there is that safety net for your part or for the hair. That'S on the lace. You guys you're gon na see this wig lasting a lot longer, probably like twice as long as a frontal wig will you won't have to experience that if you guys get a closure, a lot of the hair is not gon na shed as easily straight out of The lace because it is on a track instead, so it provides the extra security on your wig. Okay, you guys so now that we've talked about basically what a sew base closure. Wig really is purchasing a good silk base. Closure wig, you guys so the most important part of purchasing one is finding one that offers real hair on the lace before it hits that silk base area. You still want that opportunity to blend that lace with your skin, as well as the silk base. To not be as apparent if you can find any reviews find some pictures make sure that you have at least like half an inch of hair before it hits your soap base, because your silk base should not start all the way back here and it shouldn't start All the way up here right next to your scalp, with no hair to blend it with another thing you want to look out for when you're purchasing your silk brace closure wig, you guys is stitching so keep in mind in the fact that you are paying for A silk based closure to be there. You know so after a couple washes, you still want it to be there. Am i right or am i wrong, alanis you're right, i know i know so. Some of these silk blaze closure, wigs y'all, just have the stitch in all types of messed up as soon as it comes out of your packaging. You want to be able to see that there is great stitching if you intend on keeping it on. I did mention before that you can cut it off before you apply the wig, make sure it's on make sure you can't really like stick your finger under it, make sure there's no gaping holes, make sure there's no threads coming out. You want to make sure your silk based lace. Closure is gon na stay; a silk based lace closure! Oh my gosh, as i'm installing this wig do. Y'All see this honey. Oh baby, gal, baby girl. What is she straight? What i'm gon na finish installing this wig and then i'm gon na come back to y'all with my final thoughts and some final tips? Okay, you guys! This is what she is looking like all laid and slayed. I did not do any um baby hairs, as you guys can see, but she is looking melted. She is looking like she's coming straight out. The scalp, you feel me, did a little little widow's peep baby, widow's peek um, but the final thing, i have to say, is watch as many reviews as you can. You guys just be careful because there's not a high demand for so faced. Lace closure wigs. So it can go one way or you can go the other um.
