Perfect Middle Part & Curls Wig Install! Ft. Mega Look

They sent me a dark wig with a platinum patch in the front. You know what's funny like when i have a batch of wigs i'd, be thinking to myself. Okay, who am i gon na, give this one to who would look like in this one or this one or this one, and it seems like all the models are made for the wigs that i have for them, so modeling this wig. Today we have my girl jamae, who is also a fellow stylist herself and i'm not even sure if she is a full-time stylist anymore. I think she just does it at her leisure but yeah. I don't think she's used to like the bold colors. You know platinum. The the rainbow colors, so this wig was actually perfect for her because it took her a little bit out of her comfort zone but still a little comfy. And you know this is going to sound kind of creepy. But i am mainly excited about this install because of the shape of her hairline. Like i love the shape, it looks like a heart. I love the little widow's peak she has going on and i'm already imagining the hairline and the baby hairs. In my mind. Right now you know it's something about doing: hair, stylists hair that really satisfy like really satisfying to me, because it's like you're a hair stylist yourself. So you have your own standards and you know: hair stylist be perfectionist when it comes to their own head, especially so, when a stylist likes her hair after i do it i'll be so happy i'll, be like hey i'm at the standards so yeah. I don't know that was just a random thought, all right. So normally i don't use the blow dryer to dry the glue under the stocking cap. But in this case i peeped the glue was still a little bit white and i didn't want the cap to snap back after i cut it. So i just hit it with the blow dryer a little bit just to make sure it was fully dry. And you already know this is the medium brown cap from galaxygirlhair.com all right, so we are ready to oh hold on that stocking cap. Looking good, okay! Now, that's a ball cap method, all right! So, yes, i'm laying down the glue now, keeping it at least half an inch away from the hairline and then i'm going to spread it out with the back of my tweezers all right. So after this layer turns clear, i'm going to add a second coat. All right all right, all right, so i have a small concern: okay, after julie plucked the wig, which was not a problem, but you know some of the blonde hair came out in the front because the patch was actually. You know a little bit bolder before we plucked it now. I have to lay the lace down and i might have to cut you know some of the hairline off the wig and i'm scared that the blonde is going to get cut off. So, let's just say a little prayer. You know i don't want to cut all these highlights off, because this literally makes the style like come on. Now, don't ruin my fantasy. I don't know. Oh okay, okay, we salvaged some blind all right, so we have our tropical root setting foam and i'm combing it through. So we can get ready to part it mold it and pluck the part the parts cause. That'S the part, that's the part, because it's a part all right, you guys so my vision for these baby hairs right. So i've been looking at stylists and i've been studying different techniques and y'all know i love learning and evolving all right. One thing about being a stylist is you cannot stay stuck in your way, sis you got ta learn. You got, ta, learn the new techniques. You got ta, learn the new styles and you got ta, try it for yourself and once you add your own flair to it, then it becomes you and it just it. Just transforms into like a whole new technique, and just the hair industry is just amazing. Just art is amazing, all right so anyways, so i'm not using got to be glued. Today, i'm using the tropical root setting, foam and y'all know i love using both for real, but it's just a different vibe like the gel. It still makes it look nice and natural, but it's stuck on there with the roots i mean with the tropical root setting foam. It is firm, but you can always comb it out in the end and it holds its shape, but it looks softer so today, i'm going for the softer look, the more wispier looking baby hairs instead of like the structured, looking ones, okay period period period period. That'S how you do it all right so now i'm going to wrap her up with the black wrap and sit her under the dryer for roughly 20 minutes. Oh my god! Oh my god. Okay, these baby hairs. Yes, that's all! I can say yes, so i want to do a bouncy barrel. Curl, look with a lot of movement, so first i'm going to cut some layers in the front because who said something? Nobody, oh okay, all right! So i'm seeing those blonde pieces stick out like a sore thumb, so i'm taking my flyaway tamer and just laying all those cowlicks down, then i'm gon na go over the top with the hot comb and make it really flat and sleek. My all right! So listen doing a middle part with barrel. Curls can be tricky, sometimes because it's kind of hard to make both bangs on each side perfectly. Even so, i'm going to show you guys a technique that i use to make this hairstyle flawless and you know, keep each side symmetrical so number one as you can see, i'm curling these two top pieces horizontally, not vertically. All right. I'M loving this shape and i want to keep it so i'm going to clip it and later on, i'm going to mist it with a little bit of spritz, so we did so.
