How I Install My Wig | Part 1

I'M here all right, all right, y'all, i'm about to show y'all how i do my hair, how i put on my wig, how i lay it how i slay it um the hair i got is from icy hair. I got a 24 inch, 222 inch, bundles of body wave and a 20 inch funnel, and i made me a wig y'all with my sewing machine. It'S very professional machine made. If anybody wants a wig made, i'm in the la area i'll leave my contact below about that um, so yeah we about to get it cracking. I have the wig on i'm just trying to measure it, and let me add, i made this so perfect, because anytime i buy wigs already made they be too big, like my head is not big at all, so i wanted to make this fit my hair, because I, like my wigs flat from the front to the back so yeah. I did that for real. I did that, but anyway, the first thing i like to do before i glue it down is cut off the extra parts around my ear. Tell me something different: you must be made for me. Uh is. I can do all right. I like to glue my hair down in sections because i don't know like i want. I want this to be right, like i'm a perfectionist, so i want to work with little parts at a time. I do three parts so yeah um. Let me just cut my sections out. I do middle and then the sides - and i like to ponytail the hair out of the way, so let's keep giving all right not too tight, not too much, because it'll pull your way back. Also, being the perfectionist that i am i like to draw out where i'm gon na put the glue, so i don't do too much or too little um, so i'll just use an ankle brush um. This is my concealer from ruby kisses. I think it's really yeah ruby kisses, do the light color. So i can see so i just place the hair where i want it to lay and i'll go ahead and trace out the hairline. So i'm in my mirror, um all right. So i got that part done. I'M gon na flip these back so i'll have space to work. You know i can't work in clutter. I got ta keep clearing up because i don't know it's just. I can't do it all right. So next i get my glue. Usually i like to use my gummy glue, but thanks to the post office in hawthorne country days, i never every time my package go to hawthorne. I never get it like. It'S always lost them. Employees be stealing and let me find out anyway. I have my erica j glue. I'Ve been using this probably like two weeks now, i'm still trying to get used to it, but i like it so far. It'S not doing me wrong and i got watermelon scent. It smells good. It smells good. Okay, i'm taking entirely too long, but this is the process like i really be doing my hair for hours hours and it's okay, because i'm doing my hair okay, i like to apply the popsicle stick, so i could dispose of it. Easy no problem all right, so i like to do like three or four layers, depending on how i feel so i'm about to get it going, always try to do like thin layers just so it can dry evenly and using this glue, it's more watery than well To me it's more watery than the gummy glue, so when i first used it i was probably doing too much, but i'm learning i'm learning. As you can see, it's already trying and i might have got makeup on it, but it's okay! It'S okay and i might add too much after i just told y'all, not to do it when applying take your time, like don't move too fast work at your pace, but not too slow, though, to where it's just drying on you, but you got a little time. All right, let that one dry this might take longer than the last one, because you know also, while i'll be doing my hair i'll, be trying to like decide how i'm gon na style it, because i'm so indecisive. I could never pick like i'll go on instagram for some inspiration and i see like five styles i want to do and then i don't know what i want to do so, while i'm waiting and doing little stuff, i try to figure out what i'm gon na. Do right now my goal is middle part with some curls, but i went on instagram and i don't know if i want to do wine curls or regular curls, so i'm still deciding all right. Let'S try! I got ta figure out how not to when i be into something like i'll, probably be looking so stupid. I need to be very cautious of my face. I did it again always always always make sure the glue is clear before applying the next, because you will see it, you will see it in your install and we don't like that. We don't like that. I'M feeling spicy, so i'm gon na go for another layer, but i'm done after this. I promise let this dry i'll apply it and i might - or i might not film the two sides on camera, but we're gon na see, because i don't want this video to be too long. I don't all right, i'm not patient at all and i try to apply my ball cap a different way. Let me just stick to what i know, because i don't like it, i'm just going to do to do all right, so i'm going to match up the one on the lace with the line on my forehead. Sorry, if i'm out of camera, i got ta, make sure i'm doing it right, make sure it's nice and flat and then you're gon na take look home and press it in gently just for some security. This is in my i guess i can show me doing this side um. I already drew my line, so i'm gon na do the same thing i did to the meadow uh okay. Now that i laid the front down, i tied it with an elastic band. Now i'm gon na remove it to see if i need to um fix up any parts that didn't get laid down. It'S looking good already, so i'm gon na take my razor razor off the extra lace, the red bottle. I don't know it just doesn't do much for me, but this one does it for me. So i'm just going to take this spread around my perimeter and tie it down with the elastic band, not too much. My rings always get caught and i always forget to take them off all right, all right, i'm gon na let this sit, i'm gon na go eat. While i wait it's just the past time and i'll be back, i'm so mad, because i started a tic toc trying to do a hair transformation, and i forgot about it anyway. Next, i'm going to blend my lace, i'm going to take my lace, tint from slayo bay and cappuccino, and i'm going to also use some of my mousse just to let your hair down. While i do it, you get messy, so i always have a napkin to catch the tint from falling it's in the bottle, all right god, damn you looking stupid. Oh you got me all right. Um next step is. I got ta move fast, um, some mousse just gon na take it around my perimeter. You don't have to do this, but i like to it. Just does something for me and then i wrap it back up. It'S almost crunchy, also nice and tight. While that's going i'ma wait, but i'm also press this down. You want nine percent just to help like exactly time to press this down i'll, be back when this is dry all right, so we're done melting and now it's time to hot comb right. So now we're done melting and it's time to get the hot comb in i'm gon na use this fantasia heat protectant. I just like to i'm gon na put it in my hand. Three little sprays take it in rub it. I don't like to spray too much. I don't like oily greasy hair, so i try to minimalize minimize the amount i use baby. This person come. This andes is gon na. Do what they do. I burn myself every time, so i'm gon na try to do this slow. I just wanna get it as flat as possible before doing my baby hair. Take your time, don't burn yourself, i'm not even gon na lie to you. I burn myself already it's gon na come, but just got ta. Keep it me is me. I'M gon na go in with concealer to hide the knots. Sometimes i do sometimes i don't. I just don't think bleaching knots every time is necessary, like sometimes basically good enough to go without, and it help your wig last longer. If you like to re-rock like i do so yeah, oh my god, if it's over, i did that this wig is custom fit to my head and it's so flat. It'S probably the best one i made. I don't know why, but my part looking a little crooked. I don't play when it comes to these parts, so spare me be back okay, so now i'm gon na take that same concealer. I used earlier the light side and i'm gon na put it in my part. Actually, i'm gon na put it on because i don't feel like doing it all right. I actually don't like this part, so i'm going to take take this like here's, a room corrector from clairol, and i'm done i'm just gon na press. This orange always got to do the most. I was off all right now. I'M gon na focus on my baby here difficulty. Nobody else had a clue in my heart. I am taking entirely too long to do this, like it always take me all day to do my hair. I started at like 1 1 30. It is now almost 8 30 y'all. My breaks turned from 10 minutes, maybe to like 45., i'm just about to get this over with.
