So these are the materials that I'm going to be using to do this wig. I will make sure I put all those needles and the description box of where I got them from. I did use a dome cap with the elastic that's around the unmade area of it, and this is my favorite brand of inexpensive, store-bought hair and then the sucker in lace closure arm that I purchased from off amazon.com. Now. Just to give you a close-up of what this um lace closure looks like you can see that it has some kind of a, I want to say a lace, film or a piece of fabric that covers the lace itself and it looks kind of natural, so um. I don't think I will be bleaching the knots on the sides. It has like a plastic film that has holes in it, so you can attach it to your wig cap, and then it has this long piece of netting that I'm going to be showing you how to cut that off in a second now. You can also see that it's vented it's a 12 inch and I'm not sure if you could see it. Let me see if I can show you um. It has tracks in it, maybe about three or four tracks and then the center part of it is vented. So this is just giving you a close-up of what the closure looks like now, I'm going to use my trusty wig head that I made myself to fit the actual size of my head along with my hair. If you have not seen the video on that, I will make sure I link that in the description box as well, and what I'm just going to start doing is applying the lace closure right in the center of the weight cast. So what I did with the hair that I had, I had three packs. I had a 18 a 16 and a 14-inch, and I used all three bags of hair and what I did was I double the tracks and I did the folding method. So there would be full enough and I wouldn't have to place the tracks too close together on the wig, which we give me a room to allow it to stretch forward and sideways. If possible, um, I was able to use um all ten needles that were pre threaded by princes platinum, but I wouldn't say that one pack would be able to complete a full week. Maybe you need about a pack and three more three or four more on needles. Okay, guys, sorry, this is a bit blurry, but what I actually did was, after I finished, sewing all of the hair down onto the right side of the wig. I turned it inside out, put it back on the wig capsule and have a little bit more stretch to it because of the hair, and I just sold an entire track around the perimeter. Underside of the weed - and you can see here. This is what it looks like, so it could hide the tracks if I got the hair blowing or whatever it may possibly be, but it just kind of hides the full tracks and I went on ahead cut the fabric out. Where are my legs? Closure is in to secure my wigs. All I found were some weak combs that I got from an old wig and this you can usually find out, like Walgreens Kmart in like a hair accessory place, but I'm going to be using those to kind of secure. My wig I put the wig on to fit and I pinned at the temple sides so that I would know where to place the wig comes inside the wig, and that is pretty much it guys. I have all the columns on the inside of the wig. If you guys are interested in seeing how I cut and styled this week, you will see that video, the very next day I'll, make sure I'll put a link to this video and in the description box as well. Thanks for watching

BeautyCutright: OMG! I almost missed this dam comment/suggestion! I am so getting this book. THANK YOU! I love when people suggest ideas and things they know....an enterchange of encouragement and knowledge is a great blessing...Thank you so much =) Nekia

Louisa Law: That looks really good! since you sew the extra track underneath does that allow you to do a nice realistic updo or high ponytail?

BeautyCutright: YAY! Thanks! Glad you viewed all 3 videos. I will be uploading more to the series =)

BeautyCutright: Thanks for watching! I will do an update of this hair soon. It holding up very well =)

Jennifer Landgren: You're the best! I tried your "pinning" the closure method last night on a wig, and it came out wonderful. No more tracing the closure on the cap, and it is placed more accurately when sewn down first. I'll consider those pre-threaded needles. I'd love to make a wig in 1.5 hrs.

Westie Katie: I appreciate your perfectionism, so much, lady!!!

BeautyCutright: YAY! I'm glad this video is an inspiration...I feel ya on the hair maintenance....lol. Thanks sos much for watching =)

Hey Shaylan: In love with your lace closure! It's looks very natural!! :)

BeautyCutright: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy and find them helpful

BeautybyMattie: I love it great tutorial I definitely get straight on mine thank you for making it very simple to understand do I really have to have the combs put in

BeautyCutright: LOL! Well actually, I like sewing. Timing is the same as hot gluing for me because I am a fast sewer. I would recommend sewing the closure because it is easier to detach and use for another wig if you want. The closure is flat because I am using a wig head that is the same size as my own head...plus I use wig combs..lol. I used some edge control to help my hair lay flat since I am natural as well. Any edge tamer or control will work. Try the one from Organice Root Stimulaor =)

Aroundthewaygrl: One of the best wig making tutorials on youtube. Thank you!!

StyledByShakira: Very detailed and I love the turn out Hun!

Taniesha Williams: I love all of your videos they are soo helpful! Keep up the great work!

BeautyCutright: Hey Patti, I'm jealous! I gotta find a way to come and see you perform one day for real.....lol

Stephanie Daley: That was the most helpful video I've seen ALL day!!

BeautyCutright: The closure was around $30 I believe. The hair does cost $8.99 for a 8" pack. I have longer lengths up to an 18". I live in Detroit. =)

Bunny: Beautiful!

BeautyCutright: LOL! I am going to announe that I will be doing wigs soon. I live in Detroit and currently do them for my local clients =)

BeautyCutright: Thanks love. Actually, those are the same edge tamers I use. I also use the Karetin's Edge control too! However, my hair type is not 4c, it is very fine and lays very well without much product or edge controls at all. I would maybe suggest you use a gel. The brown gel to be exact.....lol... and put coconut oil or castor oil on your edges before applying the gel so you wont dry your hair out =) Hope this helps =)

nosey32: You made that look so easy! Thank you.. :) :)

BeautyCutright: Wow! That's a good price. I have found a few other lace closures on ebay as low as $25, but they are not very neat, you would have to work with it =)

phyllis robinson: This was great! Thanks for sharing.

R. M. Smiley: Well Done!  You explained the procedures for the perfect fit.  I'm new at this. My first wig was made with a dome cap.  Now I want to do a 27pc using my form head instead of shower cap and stocking cap on my head because I need to see clearly what I am doing.  Again, Well Done!

MG OC: If I didn't know this was a wig, I wouldn't ever have know, it looks that good.

Avah valenta: Your videos are so helpful!! Thank you!

Delena Muhammad: Love the way you do your wigs

mary lum: Vraiment magnifique

DamnDiva100: this vid was so on point girl thank you thank you

BeautyCutright: Cool! Let me know if you have questions. Make sure you check other videos in my wig making playlist. It will make the process a bit easier =)

BeautyCutright: Thanks hun! All the information you need is already in the description box =)

The Nomadic Jamaican: That was very helpfeul, indeed!

Ariane Barnes: Not only do u have the skills, u have the PATIENCE! U the biz nizz.

Marjorie Karimi: Awesome video! Do you think a lace closure can be sewn into a u-part wig?

BeautyCutright: Hey lady I see you over at this video now....lol. When you do this wig you will love it trust me =) Thanks for watching and if you have more questions don't be afraid to ask. Check out my whole wig making playlist...I hope it helps =)

BeautyCutright: Well, to be frank....I am a pole dance instructor. When I flip upside down on a pole I do not want my folded tracks to show...so I sew a track underneath the wig so when I wear it and upside down, the track that I sewn underneath will hide the folded tracks around the edges =)

Banks on Board: OMG I love it... Thank you very much

BeautyCutright: @QueenbeeNay4eva omg! right on time with this request...I'm literally doing a two tone bob right now...lol. I 'll be posting it closer to the end of the month =D

FascinateMyBeing: USE creme of nature's perfect edges with moroccan argan oil! Its amazing! Slicks 4c hair like none other!

BeautyCutright: LOL! girl I'm jealous...I wanna go to Miami...lol. I have not dyed this hair before, however I have been told that you can bleach and dye this particular brand of hair. The Sensationnel Premium Too Yaki texture =)

Bless Drilon: awesome..so im as thrilled right now to be waiting for your videos using the technique in the book..cheers sistah! :) update me..:)

BeautyCutright: Welcome and thanks for watching =)

kimaya29: Pre threaded & knotted weaving needles?! Didn't know they made those. I need to get some to sew in an elastic bag on my wig...now I just need to learn to sow :/

BeautyCutright: @2Pereira funny this batch has not given me much sheading problems. however i would suggest sealing the wefts with fray check from a fabric or craft store =)

Queen-lee Mi...: Girl you made me want to try this so I made one last night . I went to northland mall and bought a 10,14,16 inch and I paid like 35,20,25 for the hair and bought a closure for 54.00 its kind of like the saga closure girl I,love itttttt.

Cocobeauty1: Your video was the best detailed on How to install the closure...

Bunny: Nevermind lol I see what you did. Genious!

kaylou184: You make it seem effortless. I can sew but I cant do the loops that I see you do. Can you show that?

Velle Satanis: I just loved how you did your , Lace closure, thanks it helped me to know how to do mys thanks

Queen-lee Mi...: girl yess i am liking this i am so glad i could finally see somebody with one of these i found it on gmbshair, com for 59.99

Dante Velasquez: that is excellent!

JD_ ALL_THINGS_FABOLOUS: YOU ARE THE BOMB!

LoveYOUnow.biz: Ok going get my stuff tomorrow to try one!

cher545: Thanks for replying so fast. I will have fun for you. Even though its nice here in Chicago today it could snow or be 30 degrees tomorrow. This weather is off the chain. Miami here I come.

tamoniva12: Turned out so professional looking.

BeautyCutright: Honestly it really does not matter. I just think the textures of the hair and the closure should match, not the brands =)

BeautyCutright: lol...Thanks! Im thinking of making wigs for people soon =)

Lanette Brown: Classy answer! No cursing, and you still put him in his place.

Bunny: Great video! I am surprised you did not use a tan color wig cap.

Tiffany jacovy: This is the first time, I've seen someone do this with bss hair. I was wondering what it would look like

BeautyCutright: It was around $50 from amazon =)

Halima Lara: i love this video.. thanx for sharing

hermusicsoundsgood: Awesome!

kayyybeee: Ooh girl I wanna fight you! That tut, this wig, and YOU are fabulous! You make it look so easy. I'mma try to do this, but I wanted to ask u why u chose to sew this vs gluing tracks. I know sewing the closure in is a must (or is it? lol) but why spend all that time sewing instead of gluing? Also, how do u get ur closure to lay so flat, and how do you camouflage it with your hairline. I have a TWA, so my hair is short and very curly so I'm anxious to have a solution before I spend the doe.

Patti Liggins: hey twin itz patti..gonna rock this for my show in New York.

Jen Michele: How does this hair hold up? My hair's changed textures since my stretch and now the Premium Too Natural Yaky matches it to a T. But I had a bad sew in with the Janet Collection Yaky Perm shedding like crazy and being a big poof frizzy mess. As clip ins I can take care of it easily but if I wear them for 8 hours at work I don't want a frizzy mess. It's really nice hair but did swell washing one pack. The other I didn't wash yet.

hermusicsoundsgood: Wow..this has changed my world! Lol in a good way

BeautyCutright: Actually, if I was upside down with the wig on, you would not be able to see the tracks because it is hidden by track hair that is also hidden underneath the wig.Its totally optional to do. =) Look over it again....trust me it will make sense =)

Bunny: Please go over the part where you mentioned that you turn it insie out to hide the tracks. I didn't get it can you go over that method?

Fo Sab: Did you cut the band off of the dome cap?

LadyYogi: i didnt know u where in detroit,so am i!!!! and another video that i am loving. i have all of the items except for the closure,RAN OUTTA MONEY!!!!! tell me do u live on the west or east side

Darcus Sanderlin: I love it. Help help. When i make my wigs out of dome caps it doesn't fit. It is always too small. Please help me. Any information would help. I appreciateit. Trying to make wigs can't afford to buy them.

kaylou184: Should you use the same brand closure as the hair you use?? Or are some brands better than others?? I ask becuz on one of your videos, I believe you used saga remy closure but a different type of hair?

mingwilliams: You get two thumbs up for this one....I love the detail and that you did not use pricey hair. I created a u part like this with the glue gun. Its cute but that baby doesnt fit. I may have to try that thing you did with the tape and the mannequin head. Again GOOD JOB!!!

Bunny: You mentioned the lengths of hair but for us beginners who have never done it but will try it please let us know where does each length go?

Susie B: glue the wefts using fabric glue

MeshaLuvzBeauty: Does that premium too hair hold a curl good?

BeautyCutright: To be honest, I wouldnt even work with hair that sounds like that.....lol. I would return it. Are you able to find a brand call Sensationnel Premium Yaki???? If you are buying from your local beauty supply, I would suggest shopping for hair online. Try elevatestyledotcom or ebonylinedotcom. I know virgin hair can be a bit exspensive, but try upscalemanecotcom their pricing is reasonable to me =)

BeautyCutright: lol...yes you can sew any wig to your hair if you want =)

70’s Fashion &Hair Channel: hello again i wanted to ask you if you have heard of closures that have a plastic panel underneath and somehow keep the scalp from breathing? i saw this here on YouTube and a hairdresser was showing it and saying that using it is dangerous and causes your hair underneath to become weak. Does the Saga Remy closure have a lot of plastic underneath it in addtion to the lace? i just wanted to be sure. The video i saw was called Beauty Store weaves wurk'' and i just wanted your advice. thanks.

BeautyCutright: I use Adobe Premiere Elements for PC and Mac =) Its only $99 at OfficeMax

BeautyCutright: Check out this video again. I provided a close up of the closure to help answer the question about the plastic.

MsCkelle: Nice!

Qtepiee88: omg i was just in the store almost about to get the same exact thing! I got the premium too hair and was looking at the closure like, naw, itll look to fake LOL but I shoulda got it!!! lol

BeautyCutright: LOL! I think you need to do your research on black hair culture, weaves, and why weaving hair is called Yaki not Yak......lol. Just like Remy in China does not mean the same thing in America, cosplayers are not the same as wig makers....smh....Clowns LOL!

cher545: Can that hair be dyed or really any beauty supply hair. My custom unit won't be here in time for my Tripp to Miami. So I gotta think fast.

Mz CH3RRi: hey how much was the lace closure??

BeautyCutright: Do you live in the Detroit, MI area? Either way please email me at the email address listed on my page for business inquiries =)

BeautyCutright: Awww Thanks and welcome to my channel =)

Simone Levy: Darcus, search on utube for how to size wig cap on mannequinn head. Cutrite has a video as well

nobettadobetta: soo pretty luv all ur wigs

Abiberry: If i make my wig with Brazilian hair , Do you think this sagi remi lace closure hair will match / blend >? kindly advise since i already have the hair and cannot afford a $300 closure

BeautyCutright: Actually yes it can....I think I might make a video on that....lol

James jackson: Well done where can i get a nice closer?
