Hey loves: it's your girl, bri here and today, i'm coming to you with another video today will be as you've seen in the title, we'll be going over how to step by step for beginners and how to put it with a relax or natural hair. Whatever works for you, this is my quick get to where we got ta go type of hairstyle. I don't wear wigs over my locs often, but if i want like uh kind of over the locks for a minute, i always like spice it up a little bit like you seen in my previous video with the styles or this is my go-to, because prior to Locking my hair, i had so much wigs, so we don't want to put our money in the way, so we still use those wigs right. Okay, so whether or not let's get into the video okay. Ladies, as you can see, i just all i did was slick. My hair back, you know what i'm gon na show you this jam. This is what i switch my hair back with and if you see me looking look like i'm looking away it's, i got a mirror behind me, i'm in my bathroom, so i'm looking at the mirror, just making sure i'm giving y'all clear content that y'all need make Sure it's perfect, so all i did was slip, my hair back with the jam and put it in a ponytail, but as you can see my little baby locks on the side. My front just ain't get the picture that we going in the bun right now. So um it's okay, because we're gon na take stocking cap that they give you. I got makeup this used one because i got makeup on it, but baby girl. I could show y'all. I know how to do the ball cap method all day. It'S millions of videos on youtube on how to do the barcamp method, but let me tell you something: we're gon na slide this wig without doing a bobcat method, because guess what we got somewhere to go. We just trying to put this wig on to get where we got to go, but look good doing it right. So i'm not going to waste y'all time, i'm going to reapply a little bit more makeup on it. You just want it don't be happy always like that, but you asking to take away your edges and i don't know if y'all can tell by my other videos, but that's my signature, my edges, so we want to keep our edges. So, let's put it directly on the hairline, as you can see the hairline and the wig i have today it's from ally, pearl. It'S a brown, get you a little chocolate, wig girl. Oh we finna kill it. I don't bleach knots. I understand there's a method to the madness for bleaching, knots and stuff, but baby girl. All i do is put makeup on it and i know some people if makeup ain't, your thing to make a wig look somewhat like, because we all know this ain't, your hair, but to make it look good, you got ta put something on it. I mean sorry, i'm not the color of this hair this the way this lace is set up, i'm not that color, so you got to make it work for you. So you take a couple a little bit of makeup and you we're going to put some makeup on it all right. So i'm coming to you with my fit me. I wear the color in 370, 68 for maybelline, it's matte and poreless normal oily skin and i just put a little bit on my wrist. I don't know where i get this from, but i just do that and then, like i said i want to put it on this cap, so we melt this cap a little bit since we're not doing the ball cap method and, like i said it's a closure. So we don't have to go all the way to the ears and stuff and do all that extra stuff, because we're going to make it all fade, but yeah make sure you get it good and then we're going to take a little bit and put it on Our wig and i'm going to show you how i do my baby hairs and stuff, and this is just quick if you know hey thing, i want to give my locks a break or you know you're trying to switch it up just so. You don't spend that money for them lock, extensions for the girls that know know because baby, i'm so close to i, okay. This is a little more talkative than i have done in my previous videos, but i just want y'all to know y'all, not alone baby. I love me some long hair, i'm not the type to have it to my butt, but i love some long hair and it's either at least be bra strap. So i love it as you can see, i put it on the closure, so it kind of darkened the knots a little bit. So it just looks like you know, plucking. I have not plucked this wig now bear with me we're gon na pluck a little bit because we don't want it to look too weak right. So at this point your wig is done so far. Then i go in with my got to be, and i spread where this is the mountain face, so i know what's coming across your head. Oh i don't want all that in my locs, let's be real. If you lay your edges every day, i'm the one i'm talking to myself. I like my edges, a lot so just for that fresh. Look that clean slick! Look, sleek, look um! You wash it out when you in the shower. I lots, love water, love moisture. So for the long, ladies, just wash it out, it's not that deep baby like i just you know, because you get a lot of heat for oh, i thought you got locks like you you're wearing wigs. Now or oh. I thought you got locks, why you got braids in your hair or something whatever insert whatever somebody said to you, because we do catch heat for wearing other styles other than our natural logs we're human. We want to switch it up too. I don't feel like just because you got your natural hair out. I don't get on you like girl, where your curls at why you got a wig on why you got box braids. Is that crochet? I don't get on. You leave me alone, okay enough with that, but yeah just do you like, i said: don't let people put you in the box, do what makes you feel beautiful and which makes you feel you authentically you don't let nobody define what that is for you, okay, back To the video um: yes, so i'm gon na let this dry a little bit. Ain'T got time like i said we're trying to do something quick trying to get done. Now we take our wig i'll. Let that dry a little bit. Take our wig place our wig on our head and look at that. Just look at that. You know just look at that: that's a whole nother woman, that's a whole nother woman, and now we finna get to these baby hairs and, as you can see, i got a whole bunch of other stuff going on from last time. I wore this wig trying to wash all that stuff out, but we got ta get to it. So i'm pulling out audit the clean layer of the front, as you can see, for the closure like our front little layer and then we're going to brush the rest back, so we can really get into this to fix it. I think i tried like putting some other stuff on this wig. It was just like enough. It was just so hard enough for me. I don't even know what i felt like it should have been a yes but baby. It was just so hard enough for me, but i'm gon na put the rest of this hair in a pony and another reason why i just you know i don't do the weeds. All the time is, as you can see. When i came on camera, your girl got a little bit of hyperpigmentation going on. I just put my hand in my makeup. Your girl got a little bit hyperpigmentation going on, so we don't want to put feel like eye hair. Can our hair kind of gives us hyperpigmentation also with um, putting all the products on our head our hair, and then you know not making sure our hair is not touching our face like that i'll put it on my hair. My hair is not touching my face. Like that, so i'm using my kids ponies it's just weird. Okay, so, as you can see - and i didn't do anything - i didn't pluck this wig or nothing. So all i really did was lay the edges, but today we want to come in with a wig. That just looks like you know, i'm kind of pulling the stocking cap back a little bit and trying to place these combs into place. There'S two combs right there on each side, so i'm going to place those oh shoot. I'M gon na place those to make sure your um stock cap is not trying to recede, because that will be a bad day. So i just make sure it's a little before. Just like getting the styling gaps like right here, as you can see, so it's just like a flat when you lay your edges and we'll do side by side and just make sure your hair is centered, which i'm about to make sure. Because that's embarrassing, you walking around supposed to be a middle part and baby, that's the side part and that middle about i'm bringing you a little closer. So you can see, and so i can see and give you the right amount, some good content. Basically, because i hate, as you can see, closures start to get a little thick right here, i'm a frontal buyer all day and you can make funnels work to look like closures for you. So you don't have to do all the sideburns and all the extra stuff. But this method i try to get through pretty quick because, as you can see, all the hair is on my face and i don't want my face breaking out over this hair so got my misting bottle. I'M gon na take this and put it on my hair. So i just put a little bit on my hand, just make sure this these hairs are fully free and capable to do what they need to do. Not from what i previously did. I just put a little bit on my hand and just play it with the hair. Just get her hair a little wash because i did not previously wash the wig before i placed it on my hair because remember we got somewhere to go and we don't have time to be sitting here washing hair, but i am going with this a little bit. I don't have usually i will use foam lotion, but you probably have no foam lotion right now and water do the same. Do the same thing cleanse the hair. It don't give it that hold that foam potion would do but baby i'm not trying to have a hole per se. Okay, so, as you can see, the wig is receding, so we're going to push that back, make sure push it up on me. Push it up, and this is where your guide becomes in again, because you want to lay these edges right here, make sure i'm combing it to make sure when i tucked it forward that i didn't took no hair, so we're gon na do one side at a Time because sometimes you think you're and as you can see, i'm putting it right above that line just to make sure all right. So so now that that's down - and we can the thing about that got to be - you can always come in it with some water and really get that stuff off, because you don't want that stuff in your hair like that, and we don't blow dry through this Because we want that clean consistency on the hair, all right, but yeah. So now we're going to do this side just to make sure it aligns with each other and as you can see, we have that lined right there and we're going to spread a little heartbeat on that line. Just right on that line, all right! That'S good enough because we got ta, let them edges load. I love to call it loading your edges, but we have to let our edges low just so they can have it lay like you want it to be laid right. So, as you can see, i'm kind of playing with it all. I did was kind of cut the edges off a little bit, take her tweezers and we're gon na tweeze. So it doesn't look so harsh. I don't like when it looks like. First of all, i don't want to put my finger on it like that, but just make sure that things stay laid. As you can see, this side is more like. Okay, now we're laying the edges so now i'll take my black guy to be y'all. This is the truth. I don't care what anybody say. I don't know it's just it's the truth and guess what it comes off with water as well. So i started playing with my edges a little bit with the guy to be. I know people some people don't care for this, because it leaves a hard um feeling to it. But i'm telling you first of all these gon na be some thick legit edges right here. If i don't plug that, because look at that hot mess right there on that hairline, i know y'all like wait. You don't know what you're plucking it's better than having a super hairy edge right there. Look at that. What is we gon na do with that? All right, as you can see, these are pretty pretty. I feel like they i'm pretty done. It'S like i'm just looking for the places in the edge where it's just like too much hair like it's way too much hair right here, like my natural edge, would not look like that at all, so i'm plucking it okay! So now it's time to lay them edges. I just do a little edge right here, like that. These are how it's one thing: if you don't even you know, lay your own edges, but i feel, like i kind of critique my edges off, of how i already lay my edges, so that kind of works for my good, because i um already lay my own Edges you know, so i just kind of want it to be like a little gap there, because that's just ain't it. That'S why i plucked so heavy right there, because there's needs to be somewhat of a break and put a little water on my hand, just to rework that product a little bit because the product is giving out - and i just lay it like that. Still looking over at this mirror, if you're like, why do she keep looking over there? Just so, i'm making sure i'm giving out the right amount of content versus me trying to do it without even looking like um tell you what it's just water and then i do a little edge right there. Look at them edges coming together, coming together together. Together. Look at mine, i ain't gon na, do y'all like that. I ain't ready for the vocals yet but y'all. That is it first of all, we're not gon na do this. I don't know what it thought it was gon na do, but we ain't doing this so we're gon na plug plug plug. It'S gon na be plug city right there, because that ain't it it trying to be it, but that just ain't it right there. I can't do it so i'm going i like a little clean break between, as you can tell by me saying i wore this wig already before i'm getting on myself for that, because you really, if i could show you we were going to legoland in atlanta, and I just bought the wig and i was like oh, i can wear my brown, my chocolate wig. I call it my chocolate wig i can, with my chocolate with girl, talk about looking a hot mess. I thought i still had it see. The thing is, it's not that i lost it. It'S just. I had to go reiterate that i had it and i had to go back, go back to the blueprints and you know figure out what happened, and this is me figuring out what happened. Y'All hairstylist, where that's all you have to do, i did not bleach the knots. I didn't do. None of that. If your makeup wear, even if you're, not a makeup, wear go into that makeup costs about nine dollars. I don't wear no estee lauder or nothing like that, not that i don't want to not that i wouldn't try it. I got something against it, but baby. What'S the saying, if it, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and this is where you let them edges load. I'M going to put my scarf over these edges and i'm going to let it level. I know some of y'all saying dang. That was a lot of product. It might look a little white, i'm going to show you how to fix it. Just so it'll still look late and how you can wear it throughout the day. Okay, we're gon na unload these edges, and usually i would make sure that my edges are literally usually i'll, make sure i'll wait till i get to this station or just basically until i get there to unveil my edges, but because just for you know so, y'all Can see where we're at with it? This is the finishing look boom, buddy y'all, all we used was gon na be got ta, be got to be crazy right now. Usually this is the step i don't already wan na curl, but usually this is the step where i take my lipstick, the she bomb. I take my lipstick and i put it on the front part just to lay that thing down. Then i take my curler and i go through it. This is so therapeutic like just watching it go through now, firm disclosure y'all see we all we use was, you know, got to be, don't be swimming in this um style, because all it takes the one thing. I love about it is because all we did was got to be so when it comes to swimming and stuff. Maybe this ain't, your hairstyle, we didn't use like a bold hold or something like that, but i don't use stuff like that because it breaks my perimeter out and i know some people like they got those fun. They got this for me per se. I'M tr i'm on a skin journey as well. I don't want no extra bumps on any other place of my forehead or anything than i need. You know which more content on that to come with hyperpigmentation and stuff. My skin has came so far. I know i know how it feels to have acne baby and people be thinking. Oh acne, oh once i become an adult, my acne is going to be gone baby. No, if you got hormonal acne babies, no, it don't work like that. It just don't work like that, but this is the finishing look y'all. We don't care about how the wine curls look but baby, because that leg, that lay is everything everything we can always go back and curl it here, but i just wanted to show y'all the go-to like you do not have to go to a stylist. I kid you not: it takes practice every day trying just to you know what works for you, just how you think. You might think that the way i did my edges, you won't like it. It'S okay, do what works for you boo. What makes you feel beautiful i am here for is i'm here for this, because at the end of the day it just takes practice. It just takes you doing it. I'M not big as y'all gon na see on this channel, i'm not big with paying to do anything, because i know if i practice enough, i can do it myself so get into this lane.
