Installing 4X4 Lace Closure Wig From Amazon

What'S up guys welcome back to my channel, so today I'm going to be installing my first wig and I'm really excited about it. I need to yeah I get awake because I've been dying, my hair a lot, and I finally decided that I'm done, I'm not doing it right now, because my hair has a lot of like breakage right here from like straightening it, and it's just it's like it's, Not very healthy, it doesn't curl when it's wet. Let me just say that it's straight, I'm just focused on getting it back to healthy, and I feel like wigs are the most ideal right now, just because I don't want to put heat on my hair, but I also I'm not willing to pay like 300 for Braids, like the braid style that I want like, because braiders nowadays are charging a lot of money and I did try to do my own braids, but it just didn't work out, and I was gon na film that. But I did one braid and it took me like 45 minutes and it was not the best braid. It was like kind of ugly, so I just gave up on that so now we're here, so I actually got it from Amazon because I didn't know where to get like my first wig from - and I also didn't want to spend like 150 plus um. If I didn't end up liking it and it was difficult, so let me show you this: is she um to give her a name because she's my first one, but as soon as I put it on my head, I was in love and it wasn't even installed. So I just never seen myself with this type of like hair um, so I literally did not know what type of wig it was. So I had to look it up. It'S um yeah, it's a 4x4 lace closure before we do that. I just want to show you guys my little beauty supply store haul, because I had to run there this morning, because I don't really have this stuff to install a wig. So let me just show you what I got isopropyl alcohol, because I saw you have to use it like on your hairline, which makes sense. Then I got some mousse to like make the curls look good and bouncy and juicy. Then I got the got to be, of course this classic spray. I mean I've gone through a bottle of this before and I wasn't even using it for like a wig, so I do love this product. Then we got some lace, glue girl. I was searching, the entire hair store couldn't find it. I was like no like they have a lot of wigs. There should be some lace glue in this place like so I I asked them and they like pulled it from the back of like the counter like it was so like like so I ended up going with this one. I saw things on Tick Tock, but it wasn't good and I saw things on Tick Tock that it was good. So I don't really know we'll see. Then I picked up a new rattle comb, because UK doesn't hurt to pick up a new one and this one was pink and I thought it was cute too um and then of course, of course. Of course we got the wig cap the wake up. I can't wait to put this on. I did my own acrylic nails and I don't know if you can see, but the cuticle area is not that good and that's okay, but they look so cute. Oh, my God, I forgot to show you one last thing: okay, and I also picked up this this band because I always see like people, that's how they like melt their lace to the I don't know to the skin they use like this. I thought the lace was going to be like the whole thing. I didn't really know you had to like. That was like a certain type. I didn't really know that, so we're gon na see how it goes with this little piece of lace. I'M just a little bit nervous about the edges and stuff, but I'm very hopeful for the overall experience, but the edges um we'll see. Another thing I saw um the girly said we need is that we need like Foundation, which I have so we'll be using that as well. I mean I didn't, show it because I already own it, but we will be using it. I really hope that this looks good, because then I'll be able to buy more and my hair, I can really just focus on growing it and like keeping it healthy and just getting it to a healthy State. I will actually show you the various stages of dyeing. My hair Amanda I've made a lot of mistakes, but now I learned my lesson and I will not be dyeing my hair Honestly by myself. I will only be leaving it up to professional I've only experimented previously with like colored braids, and that was like a lot for me, but then so my hair was very natural. It was very healthy, it was juicy and then I decided that I was going to dye it. I was trying to go for more of like a ginger, but I ended up getting this kind of red color and I was like okay interesting and then I didn't hate it. But then that ended up like fading out to like this brown and people in school. Kept asking me because I was in high school at the time they kept asking me like: when are you gon na redo your roots, and I never thought about it? So then I just did, but I decided. Not only was I gon na go lighter. I was going to achieve that Ginger that I was trying to get before and I definitely did it was cute. It was cute. I used the door color, then that orange faded to a blonde like kind of almost really bright blonde, so that that orange completely faded out - and I learned later, that the dye that I was using was actually temporary color, which is why I had to dye it. Like twice reading is very fundamental, obviously, but it was blonde I loved it, but I was kind of over it. I didn't like how grown out the roots were. It was just kind of like I needed something new. So then I couldn't decide what color I wanted. I knew I wanted to go black eventually, I want to go Vlog, but I wanted to wait till it got colder, so I ended up like just deciding on going with red, so my hair was red pretty recently and you've, probably seen in my previous videos, actually Yeah check out my previous videos to see my red hair and it was red and then it just faded to this like sad pale red and I hated it, and I was just really over the ride. It was just like a cute moment. It was cute when it was like fresh dye like it was very like red. My hair was getting all these colors, it was getting shorter because of breakage. It was just like. It was just becoming like to the point where I could barely style it. I could barely put it in a ponytail because, like my front ends just kept falling in my face, and it just wanted to go back to my natural color because it's been, I feel like it's been a minute. It'S really only been a year and it's some change, but for me it's been a long time. Yeah bleaching is a no I'm, not bleaching, my hair ever again by myself, because it was cool and fun, but it's actually really scary, and it's not it's not. It'S. Now the next day and I'm getting ready to install it, I started like doing it and then I was like oh I'm supposed to like record this. So I went ahead and I went in with my foundation and I just added it to my wig cap, mind you, I'm just following someone else's tutorial I'll, be sure to link her video, I'm following this girl named Pink Danielle. I feel so official because I always see the girls be doing this. I'M just gon na go in with some rubbing alcohol and a wipe, and I'm just gon na wipe my hairline. The next step is to just spray the galty beef along my hair Airline. I'M just gon na do two layers and I'm gon na use this as a fan we're gon na put on the wig, and I hope I did this right. I don't know, but I hope I get it in the video she cut. She has her. Like lace cut, I don't have my lace cut yet so I'm just gon na install it without it cut I'm just gon na like spray it more so that it like it sticks right here where I want it to me. I'M gon na just start cutting the lace he's going for it, like that's all cut. I'M gon na go back in with a God to be, and like kind of melt it because it looks a little bit right now. Okay, I'm just gon na bring back those baby hairs. This is looking a lot better because at first I was like oh boy. This does not look that good. I'M gluing these to my head right now, because I don't want to lose the edges that I just took that just took me so long to like fish out, okay and I'm just gon na go in with this elastic band to like secure everything. So it can, everything is just like lay down and chill I'm gon na go in with some water and I'm just going to Spritz the hair down. So I'm gon na go in with this mousse right here and use it all over my head and I'm gon na use it a lot because I, like this experience, so let's take this band off and I'm gon na use my Razor to cut my baby hairs. Even more, I'm gon na do my edges with mousse, because I've always heard that if you like to have a wig, you should do your edges with mousse. We'Ll try it because it like leaves for feather this lightweight. Look. So I'm gon na try that and if I don't like that, I don't like how that's coming out. I'M just gon na use the god to be the answer: hey guys, this is the hair. This is her installed. I love it. I did so good for my first try. I think I'm addicted to lace. Wigs, like I think, I'm addicted. I love it. It'S like it's really pretty. I got this hair from Amazon. I don't know. If I mentioned, I will link it down in my bio and it's synthetic, but I think it looks good. I like it when it dries a little bit more, so it looks a little bit more like I don't know whatever. That means like it looks like I like that, look more so as it dries down in the day, it'll look even better. My lace isn't like melted necessarily, but I don't care, I still love it.
