Hello, hello, hello. Welcome back to my channel welcome to my channel. If you are new here, I am daquana white. I bring you plus size fashion content, as well as lifestyle Beauty content. So today's video is going to be all about this hair. I will bring you guys, an installation as well as um. I will do kind of a talk through. You know a little bit of VoiceOver a little bit of just you know music, so you guys can Vibe out because I don't want it to get too too repetitive or too boring so we'll get into all of that um just really quickly. Let me give you the specs and how you guys can get your hands on this gorgeous gorgeous hold on hold on hold on gorgeous freaking unit. I was sweating a little bit, but it's okay, it's all right! Okay, so anywho! This is Thrifty, sleigh and, if you don't know, daquana white me here hello, I am the owner of Thrifty slave meaning I Source through what I Sifty through so many so many brands, um, so many vendors, so many warehouses so much packaging. I'Ve done it all. Okay and I finally gotten to a point where I feel extremely secure and that's when I went ahead and launched Thrifty slay at first, it was just me selling. You know: cell units uh gently used units, but now I'm able to fulfill any Styles. Okay, you want HD, we can do HD whatever you want. We got okay, so I'm really happy about that and in order to get this unit, this is a 22 inch lace, wig. Okay, it is a frontal unit. Y'All know I don't typically do frontals, because I like a closure, I can throw it on snatch it off. Whatever the case is um, I typically don't do the ball cap. We will be doing that here. I tried to do it with the knee-high stocking. Did not work. I went back to my regular old wig cap and baby. She worked okay, so with all of that being said again, in order to obtain this look, we do allow ultimate customization of your units. You do not have to start with a blonde unit. Sometimes you know for certain colors you might, but all you have to do is get a lace front, Okay, loose wave unit or you can do body wave or straight whatever the case is, and then this is 22 inches. So if you want the exact look, this is the 22 inch Diana lace front unit which is loose wave and we added a full head of color, which would be an add-on that you can add, and you will put number three in the Box, because this is Number three and um yeah I mean there's really not much else for you to add. One thing is uh density, so you can add on density. If you do like Fuller units um this one. Typically, we do standard 150 density, I added 30. So I added this to 180.. I upped it to 180., so that's tip, that's just it like you. Don'T have to do too much. It'S two add-ons um. This is a staple unit on Thrifty, slag and she's, giving she's giving the girls what she needs to give. So let's go ahead and get into the full install, let's get into all of it. I'M super excited to bring you guys this video, because I know somebody was saying they missed my hair content and I'm like girl, I'm coming be patient, be patient. I'M coming with the hair content um, I will do y'all know because I have my own brand, I'm very, very selective about what other brands I do videos for, because if the hair is trash, I'm not doing a video. If the hair is just it's not giving us if they're, not even really trying to pay for the content, I'm not doing it because my time is very limited and it's very precious and my platform has grown to a point where these companies should not be trying To shortchange us not at all um, they shortchange us because of maybe the views or because we're black whatever the case is I'm not here for the politics, especially when I have my own brand. That brings us bomb hair. Okay, I bring the girls bomb, hair bomb lashes bomb hair accessories, so I'm not really into being lowballed or shortchanged from these companies. So, yes, you will see more Thrifty slave reviews, but you will also see companies who I feel are worthy Hair reviews as well. But let's get into this install y'all all right, all right, all right! We are going to get into it, so I am locked. So I am just braiding down my locks. I did four big plaques. Excuse me. If you hear my dogs in the background, they have no chill but um. I just did four plots. Nothing neat, nothing cute! I actually need to retwist and it'll be better. If I did have a retwist, because my hair would lay flatter now um I tried the Knee High Stocking method. It didn't work for me. It didn't fit on my head, so I did have to go back to the typical cap. The wig cap I put on gloves because my nails I have on press ones and they are white, so I didn't want to get them dirty with the mousse, with the lace glue got to be none of that. So here I am I'm putting got to be on top of the cap where my hairline is and I'm also using the yellow container glue, not the black, but I did want the black. I couldn't find it for my edges, but it's okay and then I did the spray on top of that and went ahead and blow dried. I really did try to get it dry, but I'm impatient - and I have some filming to do so - I really didn't let it dry as much as it could have. I feel like it wouldn't have been as white as it was and when I put the powder, as you will see, it wouldn't have been as blotchy. So here I am cutting it in three areas, just so that they don't really move around too much. I don't want to put too much tension on one area, but I'm just gon na cut not all the way at the hairline, but I'm gon na cut it, and then I'm gon na go back and trim it up a little bit more closer to my hairline. I don't want to take away too much of my forehead, okay, so um I usually use the. I don't know if they're called pink and shears or something else, but I usually use those to cut my caps and stuff, but I had to use three tools here which are Scissors Hair scissors. The zigzag scissors, I'm gon na call them as well as like the eyebrow razor, and here I am I'm just using my face powder to put that on. Like I said it is a little bit blotchy, but it is okay. It turned out really really nice, which you guys saw in the intro, but again after I did that I still went and cleaned it up so that the lace could lay as flat as possible and not have too many bumps. Now it's not perfect, but, like I said we had to work what we had here. So we did the darn thing. So even after I cut the pieces off, I still went back and blow dried. Some more got to bleed bleed. What is that some more got to be on there just to get it a little flatter? Okay, because if your cap is lifting underneath your wig, then your lace is gon na look trashy and that's not what you want here again. I don't typically do the bald cap method because I am a take my wig off every day girl I feel like it preserves my lace. It preserves the hair and my time, but that's neither here nor there. I wanted to do this and I still have the wig on right now, as I'm doing this voiceover - and it looks great okay, so here sped through trying to get this thing on and get it flat again. Typically, I wouldn't care, but because this was going to be on for a week, I wanted it to be on and secure. Okay now I didn't glue anything down. Yet it's just sitting on my head, and this is how it looks um I could have pre-plucked it. A little bit more, but I already knew I didn't really need to do that because I was gon na do like some real cute edges. Okay, so here I'm going in with I want to say it's isha's lace Bond glue, um! I should have let it dry a little bit before I put the lace down on it, but it's okay. I put the got to be on top after I laid the lace on it and then blow dried it here, so it could dry but actually, like. I said okay, like I said I should have went ahead and let that dry a little bit before I laid the lace down um. It didn't, leave any residue. So I'm really happy about that. But my hair was a little hard just because of the got to be but use mousse and that'll loosen that up a little bit - and this is me almost cutting all the baby hairs off with the zigzag scissors. But it's okay because we got through. So I'm just cutting like I said I had to use three different tools to kind of get it. How I wanted it. I didn't want a straight line across on the lace. I wanted it to be kind of zigzaggy, so you can't really tell where forehead meets lace, meat, scalp, meat, wig cap, okay, but this is my tinted Lace by she is bomb and I went ahead and put that on before I did any edge control or anything Like that so um I put the hair up so that the wig band doesn't, you know, gather too much of the hair in the back and attached to it with the velcro, and then I put the strip on or the band on, and then I tried to Flat iron it to get a little get it a little flat and then also try to take a little bit of that um texture out of it at the roots of the wig, um and girl. Yes, I do have a lazy eye, so while it was going crazy because if I'm focused on makeup or hair, it goes crazy. Okay and it's cool because I know some of y'all out there got a lazy eye too, but anywho face is done off camera um. I didn't do a tutorial or anything, because this is my regular face. It'S nothing special about it. I feel, like I've already gotten videos up about it, but if y'all do want to update it makeup tutorial, let me know because your girl, I've been really killing. My makeup too um and this ain't the best, but it's fire, okay and then I need a wax too so whatever. But here I used um I'll try to link the edge control down below it's already on my Amazon storefront, but I just use the edge control here, um and a little bit of the tinted mousse to try and lay these down. I went back and forth between the comb and the brush on that little toothbrush thing, but yeah. I did a little flat iron curl because I did go in with that straightening comb, as you saw so it took a little bit of that texture out. But I went in you know, added like five or six pin curls and then this is the result here. Like I said, I used loose wave hair so it already had a nice curl to it, but I did have to go and redefine some of them, and lately I've actually just been putting two buns in to preserve it um at night and then putting my hair Scarf on and yeah it still has a little bit of that curl and I can always go ahead and add more, but this is the final look. I did kind of play with it to see if I wanted a middle part or a side part, but I think I'm gon na kind of play around with it each day and go back and forth because that side part oh she's, given honey, she's, beautiful um, But she's definitely drama and not me going to work, but I did this would work in mine but anywho.
