Wig Over Locs + Braid Pattern | Closure Wig

So it doesn't look like you're wearing a helmet, this what's up YouTube and welcome back to my Channel, It's Your Girl Code, Jay and, as you can see by the title, we will be installing a wig over my locks. Um I'm going to start off by taking these uh wooden beads um. Out of my hair, I did struggle a little, Don't Judge Me, Let Me scissors wasn't worth a you know. So I took the comb. I just popped the rubber band on them so that I can remove them. So I can go ahead and start braiding. My hair to install this wig, as I mentioned in my previous videos anytime, I style my hair or whatever I'm doing to my hair. I always take my spray bottle and I hydrate my hair with water. Do not forget that as long as we go foreign you're going to take the ends of each braid and put them in between the braids, where the empty spaces are, I did struggle at first to try to see exactly how I want to place it. But eventually I got it together. Also, I didn't use that many bobby pins um. Sometimes my perfumes hurt me, and I really wasn't in the mood for that. So I really feel like I used like three just for each braid um. I just really used it for the ends of the braid, like towards the top the middle of my head. If that makes sense foreign, I didn't put that many bobby pins in my head, because I don't want my hair all right for the front. I'M gon na spray, it some H2O. You know what I'm saying all right so for the front of my hair, I'm going to do underhand braids so that the front of my hair could be as flat as possible in the front. You definitely don't want any thick braids um. Sometimes when you put your wig on it looks like you have lumps in your head and that's where the helmet look comes in it so yeah. We want the front and split as possible. I know that it in the beginning, I did have the back already pinned. I did take those bobby pins out so that I was able to lay the front braids flat and connected to the back. So yeah. That'S what I'm doing now on what yours out! Okay, so now we have everything: braided down Bobby, pinned up we're gon na go in with our stocking cap and apply that so that we're able to go ahead and put on our wig. Now this week is going to look a hot mess. Don'T judge me? Okay, I believe I had this week since 2019. um. This was since 613 here that I colored myself um this blue color um. It was just sitting in my closet. I didn't brush it. I didn't do anything. So that's why I looked so beat up. I am going to fix my part and I am going in with my flat irons. So yeah stay tuned all right. So since I have locks, I never um glue the entire front of my wig. I only do the section where the part is um. Usually, I don't keep my weights on that long, no more than a week, so I don't feel like it's necessary to you know, glue everything down, so I'm just gon na glue this part down so that it stays in place and then I'm gon na go in With some concealer to fix my part, I was going to go in with some baby hairs, but y'all, I'm really not a fan of baby hairs. Let me know in the comments how y'all feel about baby hairs, because the way they do baby hairs now, I don't feel like they baby hairs, they're more like adult hairs. Y'All get the point just just. Let me know how y'all feel in the comments, and now I'm going in with my concealer and my eyebrow brush, so that I could fix this part. This part was looking. A hot mess, definitely didn't match my skin tone, so yeah, I'm just getting this fixed up. So that I can go ahead and get this wig fluttered all right, so now I'm going in with the flat iron um and just straighten it out or whatever. I do want to say that I Didn't Do It Like bone bone straight um. Basically, what I mean is that I didn't do it directly from the roots. It'S like you, don't want it to be so bone straight to where your braid pattern or the thickness up under the wig shows. If that makes sense, um you just want to straighten them to you still have to cover you want it to be kind of full and Thick at the roots. If that makes sense, your body speaks to me. I can make it heavy cane on it. Honey y'all Facebook is so funny to me I'll, be cracking up on Facebook. Y'All like these are my mom's nails that I did. I had posted it on Facebook. We ain't got time. For that. I know some people ain't got the coins for that. You know what I'm saying. So we just wanted to keep this simple a little throw on. We still got the real hair up under the wig. You know we still got ta Rock our dreads, so we ain't trying to do too much we're just popping out. You feel me but yeah. This is how I usually just throw my wigs on or whatever, when I want to switch it up. You know,
