The Perfect Glueless Wig To Save Your Edges | Layering Curling Tutorial & Review

Hey everyone: it's me maggs and i'm back with another protective style video in this video. I'M going to show you how i styled this medulla body wave wig and also how i curled and put layers into this wig. So let's go ahead and get into the info! All about this nadula hair body, wave 180 density - and this is actually a closure, wig y'all and i did wash and deep condition the hair, and this is exactly how it air dried. It has some really beautiful waves like i said it is a closure wig. This is a 5x5 hd lace and it does have two combs on the side and adjustable straps in the back as well as lace and a comb in the back. So i'm gon na put a little bit of foundation onto my wig, which i actually regretted because it made the lace really orange, and that was totally my fault. Okay, so i do have a bit of parting space, so i'm gon na do a center part and the lace on this closure is a bit boxy. So i will suggest you know tweezing it a bit more to get more of a realistic look just because um. In my opinion, i just feel like it needs a bit more tweezing, even though i do see some tweezing has been done to create that gradient um. So i'm just going to tweeze a little bit more out and also um. The knots on this are very visible, so you may or may not want to bleach that it just all depends on your preference. So i'm just going to flatten the top just a little bit to prepare to put my wig on, and i believe i put a little bit too much foundation this time around because it did make the lace appear very orange. So but overall i do enjoy the texture of this hair. It'S absolutely gorgeous and the little tweezing that i did do it started to look really realistic. So i'm gon na keep on going at a later time. But i wanted to show you guys how this wig looked because i was in a rush to go and i needed a look really fast, so i was able to go glueless with this wig, which i really appreciated. So i am going to section this hair off into three sections: two in the front and section the back off as one and i am 411 and this wig is 20 inches. So i am going to create some layers in the front. I'M going to part my hair in the front into a diagonal direction and just layer the front in an angle going downward like a diagonal at the ends, and i'm going to do the same thing. And this is how i create layers when it comes to wigs and i'm just going to cut just a little bit off at a time. So i always start off cutting more towards the bottom and then work my way higher up to get more of a deeper kind of layer. So this is just how i start off, because if you cut too much off, you can't turn around okay. So take your time and just kind of play with the layers you know see where you want your curls to bend at what point in your face. So i'm just kind of going through the front making sure that my layers are somewhat even and i'm ready to start curling, my hair. So i am going to use my favorite eap, curling iron, and i do have more information about the iron down in the description below. So i'm going to curl these curls going back away from my face, but also keep in mind. I did not layer the back. Okay, now, if you choose to layer the back, your curls will have even more volume, but i was very pleasantly surprised with how volume how much volume this wig had, even though in the back i didn't layer it. So imagine what it's going to look like when i layer it, so i'm just going to continue curling these curls, going away from my face to get those really pretty waves, and this hair held a curl amazing and the hair is very soft. I did not have any shedding but being 100 honest. This hair does have a smell to it, even after i washed and conditioned the hair, and i believe, that's going to take a couple more washings to get that totally out. So i'm going to take this next section at the bottom and curl this going in the opposite direction. So basically i want the curls to kind of fan away from my face, and so i'm going to get to the front and part my hair into a diagonal. Again and take sections and perfect some of my layers, because i want my layers to bend kind of heavy in the front and i'm just going to go ahead and take the curling iron and curl going away from my face and to fix my parting. I am going to use some of this garnier touch-up and i'm just going to straighten and perfect the line here near the lace and so the hair curled, absolutely beautiful, and i love the layers that i put into it. It just made the hair just look completely different. It just gave it a new life, a new look and what i'm really loving about this closure wig is that i was able to go 100 glueless because i believe going glue is, is a healthier option for your hair and protective styling, and overall, i really loved How the curls started to drop after a while, giving it a more you know, just kind of like flawless look like easy peasy, so this is again 20 inches, and this hair has a lot of body a lot of bounce, which i like and um yeah. I really love how the curls are starting to drop on this wig and the dropped curls look so pretty, and just so just flawless.
