Hello, everyone welcome or welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, caroline, what's good, what's poppin hope everyone is doing well or at least trying to be well in today's tutorial, i'm going to be showing you guys in depth, slowed down how i applied this closure to Give it frontal my bad better, yet give it scalp hairline of vibes cause the key to getting a closure to be as slight as possible is to pluck it like a frontal or just pluck it to look like your hairline. You know, but let's get right into it, i'd be talking too much, because i have a lot of talking to do regardless in this video. So the wig that we're going to be working with today is from jurlishi hair company. It is a 5x5 hd lace closure. This is in their curly texture, 180 density. All the specs will be down below in the description box, but all i did so far was just bleach the knots and that's pretty much it, but now we're going to go ahead and pluck them to give it that scalpiana lip. So i am placing my canvas head onto my wig tripod. Both canvas head and tripod is from amazon. Once i have my canvas head nice and secured onto the tripod, i am taking this white tissue paper that comes from the wig packing and what i feel like really helped my wig game really level up and help me prevent from bald spots, and all of that Is getting something white like a napkin or in this case this tissue paper to place over your wig head and to pluck on top of so you can really really see those knots. This is something that eric argentay does in his like wig, tutorials and stuff, and i feel like this really helps me a lot. Once i've placed the tissue paper onto the canvas head, i go ahead and put the wig over that i'm just using these t-pins to help keep the wig in place and the t-pins also help make sure your lace is nice and flat, because you don't want your Lace to be bunched up when you're plucking, because you can mess around and pluck a hole to help me really see the hairline i'm going in with the spray bottle and just drenching the front of the hair. I find plucking when the hair is wet. Lets the knots come out a lot easier with less tugging and tension and plus i can just see the hairline a lot better whenever it's all slick and wet only thing is that if you do choose to pluck wet the knots, do come out easier. Like i said, but with that, sometimes you can over pluck because they come out so easily and since the hair is wet, you can't tell how bad you over plug till it dries now you're like dang. Why do i look like that? So, as a beginner, i would advise to pluck more on the under plug side than over pluck because you can always go back when you have the wig installed and really see where you need to pluck and pluck more it's easier to fix an under pluck wig. You need to fix the over pluck wig. Just keep that in mind now on to the tool that i'm using, i am using this revlon slant tip tweezer. I always use slant tip tweezers, they have a slant tip and i use it with the slant facing forward. So i guess facing the front of the wig: now we can finally get into some plucking. So first thing. First, i always like to pluck behind the beginning of the hairline, so i just go ahead and pull out the front line. This is going to be really helpful for helping you avoiding. You know, bald spots and also kind of helps for those of us baby hair wears help us have a nice amount of baby hairs to play with later, even if you're not doing baby hairs. Pluck behind the hairline first, okay, this hair company has already taken their time to pluck a little bit of the front, so that's great when it comes to how much work i have to do later, but regardless i always pull out the front. So i added a little freeze frame right here, because i wanted to really detail on some things. I don't really detail on on my normal plucking tutorials that can probably help you guys improve your plugging skills, okay, because all the details, so you can see how my hand is placed on the wig, even though i've already used my comb to push the hair back And stuff you want to make sure you're using your hand, to get a really good grip that you're pulling all that hair back. Not only does it help, you see the hairline a lot better, but this also helps add some tension. So when you're plucking, the hair it'll pluck out a lot more easier and much more cleaner, because part of getting a good pluck is plucking clean and when i say plucking clean, it means literally like you're. Getting a clean pull like you're pulling the hair from the roots. Since my knots are bleached, i should be getting blonde little fuzzy hairs pulling up. As you can see right here on this clip, you see the little blonde hairs. That'S because i'm pulling the hair from the root you're not pulling just the hair you're trying to pull out those knots. Okay, the next few clips have been slowed down just a little bit, so you can really see the action that i'm doing okay. So once i have a nice, a good grip and my hair is ready and prepped i go in with my tweezers and, as you can see, i'm pulling the hair from the roots. Like i said at the same time, i'm dragging my tweezer kind of in a backward motion. I'M not dragging it like literally, where i'm out here like dragging and cutting the lace up. No, but i'm pulling my tweezers back. So i can grab a little bit of hair in the front. I grab a little hair in the back as i'm plucking as well. I pluck skip a line. Pluck skip a line, so i'm not plucking in the same location. That'S how you get bald spots and once as i've plucked the first line of hair, i take the tweezers even more back into the hairline and pluck in the same way plug skip plug skip. You want to make sure that, like i said before, you are pulling from the roots, and someone asked me a question in my comments. It was a great question, asked how much hair do i pull out per stroke and i would say four to five four to six. Maybe less is more because you don't want to be out here pulling fat chunks, because that's just how you get bald spots, you want to like natural hairline strokes. So you can get like precise enough to two to three. It'S gon na. Take you more time, but you're gon na get a very clean pluck with that, it's all about getting a clean. Pluck. Keep that in mind so now that i've plucked the back of the hairline. To my satisfaction, i go ahead and just brush all of the hair back in the front brush everything out, so i can see what i'm working with and i just clean up the front and pluck it to my liking. For me, i have a more thinned out front hairline and i always do minimal baby hairs. So i can pluck a little bit more in the front if you're not comfortable with how much you should pluck in the front just wait to install your wig and do your baby hairs or whatever you do to plug out the front. Another common question i like to address as well is holes in your lace. Sometimes i'm not gon na lie. I do get holes in my lace from plucking and this can be either i'm going too harsh into the knot or my tweezers are way too sharp or it could be the company and not you some bad quality. Wigs have the knots on the lace tied too big, which causes a hole whenever you try to pluck them out. So this wig has nice fine knots, so it's very easy to pull them out one by one or at least try to so, if you're getting really big, not holes or like you find, your lace always gets damaged check if it's your tweezer or your technique or Just see if the knots are really big on your wig and it could be that, and i would stop plucking immediately because trust me. I have ripped a wig down in the middle because of a big ol hole i made and just like that one side of the closure is done. I like to pull it back. You know real nice and slick to see if it's looking how i like it like, i said it's always better to under pluck and just you know, do any corrections once the wig is installed on your head, so you can see exactly how it's gon na look. So the next few clips is me plucking, the other side, i'm going to play all of that through and i'm going to play on normal speed. So you can kind of just get a gist of how i pluck normally. Without you know, any fast forward or slowing down, there's pain, black girls in my area, cold, dark and light skinned, keep it real from the junk gucci gang little little vibe little. Oh realistic, the jericho one time, soft and stream, where black girl magic is sometimes blue. My broken hair too raise my voice. She gon na say that i'm angry kiss my teeth, and now you say that i'm good kid at 16, you say it's my destiny, driving a range. If i'm up to no good, i can handle this we're fine when it wasn't, even in style, we paid the prices, okay and just like that, we are done with both sides. Even this video was about like 20 minutes long. In reality, it takes me about five ish minutes to pluck each side if it's a closure, which is why i love closures, because you really just have to pluck the front and have to worry about doing sides like frontals and all that. But i can plug a closure pretty fast, to be honest, depending on how you know thick, it was, but that's all i have for you guys. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope it was detailed enough for you guys, because i can get more detailed okay, but thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you learned something you have any questions. You know where to find me in the comment section on my instagram: all that good stuff and yeah peace out girl scouts goodbye, see you in another one mj liver jacket is

Deah Maisha Barber: I loved this. This was one of the most helpful tutorials I have seen on plucking! I have a new 5x5 I have worn a couple of times but I’ve felt it would be so much better if I felt confident plucking it. Thanks to you I’m gonna try it tomorrow. Also not sure if you’re aware of this by now but the sound quality really was super low when you were speaking so I had to turn volume up to max volume to hear you but then I had to scramble to turn it down when the music came on lol Speaking of which…what was that song playing during your real time plucking portion of the video?? Loved it! It was dope!
